    Fairly good laptop for normal/minimal work. After about 6 months, the battery has seemed to die faster. Overheating is also a big problem, even when the laptop has just turned on.

    We had small issues with it since day 1. Had trouble getting it to power on/wake up and it would get very hot at times. Hotter than any other laptop I've owned.

    It is very loud and shuts down randomly. It shut down 3 times in 1 hour of me using it. I’ve never had an issue with other computers and this one is not worth the $384.11 I spent for it and can’t even return it now. I only needed it for finals since my battery on my computer went bad and couldn’t get fixed in time and was continued to be pushed to just get the computer and have had problems since.

    my did not last as long as i thought it was a wates of money it was good at frist but then i used it and it was not working as much

    Pc didnt work for wired router

    Returned, it would worked with wired router. Tried a RJ-45 to USB-C adaptor but pc wouldnt recognize device as if it was missing drivers.

    Nice color good speed but unfotunaly bad screen or graphic card, suddenly after less than a month from purchased a white wide unaccessable area apear in the midle of the screen. I have to returned and get another type.

    It's taking hours for a system update. There's no way to shut it off or stop the update after it's started. It's been in update mode for almost an hour

      There could be several reasons, one of the causes of the Windows 11 update getting stuck can be insufficient storage of your system drive. Windows updates are pretty big, the ISO of Windows 11 is over 4.5GB. so it's important to make sure you have plenty of room on your system drive for Windows 11. If lack of storage is not the issue it could be a hardware issue but we suggest you first contact Acer support for further assistance.       Sorry to hear you are not happy with the performance of your Acer Aspire. Usually when issues like lock ups or slow performance occur it is due to software problems. The best way to troubleshoot something like this is to back up your data, run the recovery to restore the system back to factory configurations. Test the system and if the issues are not occurring after the restore, chances are it was a software issue. At that point you can install your apps one at a time testing after each install.     This is my first time returning an ACER. My first two ACERS were great, but not this one . I couldnt connect my computer to work wifi and my home telehealth appointments were not successful with this laptop.
