Our eldest son has an earlier Acer model that has been great for his college work as well as personal use. This Acer is a replacement for a returned HP that was awful. It has plenty of capability and memory and is definitely fast enough to multi task the way that my younger son seems to likes to do. Build quality is vey good, screen is clear and sharp. Glad we got rid of the HP.

It's a good buy. It has a descent processor. It's not fast but it's not slow.

Upgraded to SSD and doubled memory off the bat. Also replaced dvd drive with original 1tb hard drive, dvd drive Put in external enclosure. After a couple months, upgraded screen to 1080p ips lcd. Has been completely reliable, pretty good for consumer grade photo and video editing. Only thing I’d want is discrete graphics, but didn’t want to pay for it.

When I purchased this I strictly walked in the store looking for an inexpensive laptop. After looking at different models and talking to the young man there this was the laptop recommended. I couldn't be happier with it. Quick, responsive, easy to use, and well worth the money. If you're looking for an inexpensive laptop with a good size screen I would recommend this hands down.

With the i5 processor I can multitask With 1tb I have space for both school work and protects. The 4gb ram is small but I can always add more ram when it's necessary. Overall it gets the job done.

We are enjoying this laptop as it has all that is needed at a good price.

This is a good laptop if you only need to use it for occasional web surfing or writing papers. I had an issue with the mousepad 20 days after buying this product the left and right clickers just stopped working, I spent hours on the phone and chatting with Acer and Geek Squad to no avail and had to bring it back to the store. The store was great about resolving my issue.

Bought this laptop for my wife that just uses it for basic computing and Facebook. After removing all the bloatware and installing another 4 gig stick of memory the laptop works very well. I plan to install a SSD to help boost the speed a bit more. The positive on upgrading this laptop is that the memory and harddrive have their own easy to open panels on the bottom.

perfect for high school student - performance good and not too expensive

The Laptop gets 4 stars for not have min 8 gigs of memory. Overall, the Laptop has nice specs for the price range. The Acer - Aspire E 15 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i5 is a good product. The Laptop has all the least tech features. Like: AC wireless protocol, blue tooth, USB 3.1 and etc. I am very happy with the Laptop and would buy the another in the future.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance: Easy to setup, just follow the on-screen instructions and you’ll be fine. Once it was setup, it connected to my Wi-Fi network really quick. It is fast and multitasking is easy. Comes with a CD-R/DVD-R which is great for your photo backups. Perfect for students, kids and adults which do not require complex use of a computer. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door and helped me to contact the correct employee at the right area for getting my product, which I did quickly.

Faster than the HP I had and the one my mother bought and took back....

Seems like I need to replace a lap top every two or three years. Why dish out so much money for a Lap top that does not last that long ? Nice computer for what I need, at a reasonable price !
