I'm happy with Acer Aspire R 15 2-in-1. It works fine; the processor, memory and the length of the battery is fine. The reason I got this is because the previous laptop had the hinge disintegrated. I like the 2-in-1. The round/circular hinge is great. And the pad part is cool.

This is actually my 1st laptop and I am happy with the choice I made. It is easy to use, battery life is good. It is a bit on the heavy side but I wanted it for the display and touchscreen features for presentations, so I am willing to compromise.

I have been using this computer for over a year now, and it has served me well. It likely won't be able to run high end games on maxed out settings, but it can easily handle mid-range games and any other tasks the average person has to throw at it. If you are looking for an affordable computer with a decent amount of power for everyday activities, and don't think you will be playing games like the Witcher 3 on it, I highly recommend this!

The laptop had a ton of storage. It is fast and has a great picture. It is touch screen.

So, I bought this laptop after owning a previous Acer model. Have always liked Acer, and their product quality has improved immensely over the years! Was in market for the current i7 model, but didn't have the money. The sales associate showed me many models within my budget, and this was by far the best of them all! I've had the laptop about a week and half now, and I am in love with it! It's super speedy. Great graphics. Plays all my software and games just fine. Love the backlit keyboard. And the laptop looks sleek and feels great. So far, no cons. I love it, and I feel this will keep me happy for quite some time! :-)

Acer has come a long way !! I will take this pc over any comparable HP ,Toshiba ,Dell or Lenovo..........the only other one I wanted was an ASUS. That said I purchased this for my Daughter who is starting college. The wireless device in this Acer is AMAZING !! NO OTHER LAPTOP WE TESTED COULD KEEP UP W/ THIS LAPTOPs surfing ability . THE SCREEN is amazingly CLEAR AND RICH in color ! the LIT keyboard is SWEET . The i5 processor is peppy and the touch screen is the CHERRY on TOP ! AT $ 499.99 after student discount this is the laptop to beat !!

This Acer laptop has done exactly as advertised - great picture, fast speeds, I can open a ton of online tabs/windows and use them simultaneously without any slowdown in processing speed. I was updating from a Windows XP machine so the biggest learning curve for me was adapting to all the new Windows 10 quirks and changes. Once I have my setting exactly the way I want them, I'll be much happier. There IS a lot of bloatware installed and its sometimes tricky to get it all uninstalled and cleared out but once that's done, this is a great machine that blazes through the internet and easily converts from laptop to tablet to tent and back. Very happy!

This laptop combo has been great for my schoolwork. It's fast, light (for it's size), and the battery life lasts all day while I'm at school. The display is beatiful.

I got this to replace my dad's old laptop and he loves it. He had some trouble getting used to the touch pad-since it doesn't have the right/left mouse buttons. Everything else is great. Light weight, touch screen, fast...

I purchased this for my son and he loves it. It's touchscreen maneuvering and bold colors gives off the perfect picture. Processor speed and ram size are good also.

I have been shopping for a bargain laptop for many weeks. This was a great deal for the laptop features that I am getting. It has been 1 month since the purchase and I have no problem setting up the laptop. The performance has not lacked. The only issue is the refresh of the screen is lacking. I see bunch of words when composing an email bunched up and became normal after a slight scrolling of the screen. It is ignoring but for that price - I can live with it.

I recently bought the Acer Aspire 15 laptop for my personal use. It has more bells and whistles than I probably needed but so far I am enjoying using it. The thing I like best is the 10-key added to the keyboard since I use it to work on a lot of spreadsheets and some light accounting work. I am still discovering some features. My biggest struggle is the touch pad - which I was use to. However, there are times when the touch pad doesn't seem to work - so then I use the touch screen which works great. As I become more accustomed to the laptop - I am sure I will utilize the touch screen more. I would highly recommend the purchase of the Acer. It is quick, easy and loving Windows 10 so far! It was a good match for me and my computer skills!

It's a bit larger than I wanted but it was what they had in stock locally. Seems decently fast and is pretty light. Battery life seems to be great too.

Purchased this laptop for my daughter who is starting her first year of college. She says "I love my laptop!" She really likes the touch screen. I appreciate the sale, My Best Buy reward points, and college student discount that I purchased it with! Of course, the many other features including a fast processor, back-lit keyboard, nice size screen are all great features too!

We needed a Laptop that wasn't going to break the bank but perform well and that is exactly what we got. It is everything we need it to be. Love that it is a two in one, the touch screen is nice (no need to carry a mouse) Plenty of storage space. We use it for home and work, nothing too intense It has replaced an older Acer tablet and an older laptop seamlessly.

Worth the asking price, would purchase again. Screen is crisp minimal bloatware no noticeable drag but I'm not a gamer either

This laptop has been amazing over the last few months! The only things that would make it better would be a dedicated graphics card which is useful for gaming and then a ssd instead of normal hard drive to keep it quick on boot up and loading apps. Otherwise the screen is beautiful, the keyboard has a nice feel and a nice backlight, and for me the battery will last me around 6 hours depending on use. However I still will get at least 5 hours even when streaming Netflix and doing similar things.

this was an upgrade from what I was looking to purchase. touchscreen, new Windows, lightweight and fast!

This is a good basic machine that does just fine for me in basic home functions. I use it for writing, home finance, and hobbies. Occasionally I play games on it but I would not advise playing high end games on it without serious upgrades. Otherwise, this is a good basic computer for basic home computing functions and is well priced.

First, I should mention that I have been using a Macbook Pro exclusively for the last four years. I was surprised how easy it was to go from a MacBook to this computer. Windows 10 is definitely easy to navigate. Pros: *It can handle several tasks at one time with no lag. For example, I played a video, did a security scan, and was using several tabs in Chrome at the same time. I had no problem with the computer keeping up with all tasks. *I played videos from iTunes and from YouTube with no problems whatsoever, and with great clarity. *I love that I can put the computer in display mode; it makes it much easier to use the touch screen and saves room. *The keyboard, both virtual and physical, is great. I especially love how both have a 10 number keyboard. That is something most laptops I have used in the past have removed, and I really missed it. *I connected this computer to my HDTV (using the HDMI port) and it was easy to set up, and worked great. Additionally, having so many USB ports on a laptop is especially nice. *I downloaded iTunes to the computer, downloaded some videos from there, and then played some of the videos for a few minutes. It downloaded both iTunes and almost 50 videos very fast. *The battery is also a plus. It tells you what percentage you have left, how much time you have left on the battery, and has a battery saver option (which I always use). *The screen is large but not too large. It is great for doing email on. While the top of the laptop has a very slick feel to it, the bottom does not.This means that I do not feel like I am going to drop it easily and break it. *The speed is great, as is the 1 TB of space, no matter what I am doing on the computer. Additionally, the volume is good and very clear. Cons: *Sometimes the touch screen stops working. It is only for a few seconds so it is not a big deal. It is just a little annoying at times. *Start up the first time takes a little while but after that start up is better. It is not fantastic to any extent but it is not exceptionally slow either. *I do not like where the power and volume keys are located. I know that because you can turn the laptop in a tablet, put it in display mode, etc. that it is important to have the power and volume keys on the outside of the computer but it is still hard to get used to. They seem like they are in the way a little bit and occasionally get hit when they shouldn't be. While there are a few things I do not like about this computer, I would still recommend it. My few complaints about it do not make it a bad computer at all. In fact, I would call it a very good computer. This computer will be mostly used for college, and for that purpose it will more than suffice. It has enough RAM, enough space, opens Microsoft Office quickly, and is relatively light for its size. Overall, a very good computer. I gave it four stars instead of five stars because it is not perfect. Most items are not perfect but having touch screen problems right out of the box, even if it is for a few seconds only, is enough to drag my review of it down to four stars instead of five. Still, it has minor problems and the pros outweigh the cons.
