Love the computer and it is fast at loading gamesq

Got a great deal on this computer, and I am mostly satisfied. The only downside this far is the touchpad. It has plenty of sensitivity and works well but the clicking of a mouse aspect of the touchpad is wonky. It's taking some getting used to.

Bought this about a year or two ago and it worked great in the beginning but about 6 months after owning it, it became so slow I had to refresh to factory settings. Even then it still runs slow and just doesn't work that great. Even though its a touch screen, it doesn't work with most writing tools (although haven't tried any new ones lately) which is also a bummer.

The Acer Aspire R 15 is by far the best laptop I have ever purchased. I have owned 2 hp laptops prior to buying an Acer

It is a powerful laptop with enough ram, 1 Tara bit of storage and it folds into a tablet or tent. Has replaced a few of my electronic devices and has made my web searching, computer needs and movie watching so much easier.

Nice Computer, But the battery doesn't last much!! Although not bad ..

we purchased this as a gift / upgrade for our College attending Daughter , she had done the research and requested this laptop for Christmas , so far as we can tell she is happy with its performance and features .

Replaced dead HP laptop with this beauty from Acer. It's fast and has the capacity for all my files and pictures. Keystroke was easy to get used to and the lighted keyboard is excellent. Beautiful screen too.

Not sure how this will hold up to the test of time in regards the keyboard keys. Flipping it around to use the touch-screen and as a tablet I notice the keys pushing. Not sure how much pressure they can take. Speed is good but I haven't transferred my music and pictures on it yet.

Worked great for the past 20 months, now it won't charge or turn on. I think it's either the power cord or the power cord input on the laptop. I never realized that the battery does not come out without taking the whole thing apart. NEVER would have bought it if I knew. AM going to Best Buy today but I still wouldn't recommend ANY laptop where you cannot take battery out easily. I stop using iPhone because of that and got a Samsung. I have a protection plan but I don't know if it's for the laptop or not. When I bought it guy told me it was covered under current protection plan of TV I bought so I wouldn't have to get another one. Somehow I doubt it, but will see. Wish they would pay more attention to power cords when they make these things. Garmin has the same problem, their cords suck or maybe they're designed to fail after a while.

I am very happy with this laptop. It has good memory, the screen is great, like the color....so far I am very happy with it but still have to learn a lot

gift for a student; suits needs and was a good price

Had it for almost 2 years now, great laptop. Works amazing for school and can even play most games at decent settings.

So far my only comment is I would prefer an SSD drive over the 5400 RPM drive. BUT That can change. Great Computer. Great Price.

I don't know yet if I am 100% pleased due to the fact I asked for speed and it is slow to start up anything... I have to take it back in. after I sat in store for over an hour ugh.

Great package for this price range. It's very handy to have a computer and tablet in one. Everything works great so far.
