Overall a good computer. It’s faster than the Macbook I had, but I hate the battery life and sound! Just as a previous review mentioned the sound is hard to hear during Zoom meetings even at 100% volume. Do I think it’s worth what I paid? Eh not really, but is it a good computer for a student or light tasks? definitely. Just needs some improvements. If you’re okay with charging your computer almost everyday then this is your choice. I have the battery life on battery saving mode everyday and it still warns me to plug in my charger. *shrug*

Really good value for money. The touchpad is quite receptive to greasy fingers. If the hinches will last for more than 3 years, only time will tell. Apart from that, the plastic has a really nice touch to it. I get about 5 hours out of the battery, which currently is not impressive. It is with office apps (Outlook, Excel, ERP and browsing) and on max brightness though.

I've had this laptop for about a month now (purchased end of May 2023). I researched a ton of more budget friendly laptops before purchasing. Just wanted to get something to hold me over until I get purchase a much higher performance laptop or computer to replace the macbook air I previously had. I can say that the specs sound great and I even upgraded the RAM with a 16GB card for 20GB Ram total and I thought that on paper this would serve it's purpose. I wanted to something to handle multiple browser windows in Chrome, handle email comm, handle zoom calls, allow me to run Google Drive and docs, possibly a run on Adobe Illustrator here and there and ultimately run some basic old school Steam games like 7th guest and maybe Unreal Tournament that I couldn't do on my Macbook air without software workarounds. Even with the ram upgrade, I find this laptop to be annoying at best, but really it's mostly awful. The keyboard is spread out and doesn't feel natural typing. The command button is not anywhere near where you would want it to be to do any shortcut copy and paste exercises. The camera for zoom is garbage and looks like you are viewing through a greasy window with halo effect. The trackpad is brutal and rarely picks up fluid motion. The cursor is constantly moving while typing so you get typos. Text gets deleted unexpectedly due to the layout of keys and the hot spots on the touchpad. Not sure exactly what I'm hitting and when but just know it's a constant problem for me. The keyboard is also skewed left so the entire laptop is off balance when using it. It's notably heavier than I would have ever expected and just typing this review on my lap right now, my wrists are tired from pinching/holding/balancing the laptop on my knees while I type. I'm not weak by any means, I play sports 4 nights a week and this laptop makes me tired. The battery is subpar and doesn't last long at all. The charger is clunky. The only thing good is it turns on and will do what you want it to do. After that, I've noticed it disconnects randomly from my wifi and sometimes won't even find the networks anymore until you restart. I've noticed constant lagging and buffering when doing the most basic web browsing and even just watching sports highlights on twitter posts let along other streaming videos in higher quality. I knew this was going to be on the lower end, but I opted to step up from a $200-300 chromebook and other very cheap laptops and paid $500+ for this laptop to get something decent and I can confidently say this is the first review of dozens that I have ever written where I can actually say the product kinda sucks. If you are coming from a Mac especially, the experience is just painful. I used to have an old Dell XPS1330 that I was absolutely in love with. I have owned many PCs. I've had Macbook Pro and Macbook Air. This thing ranks dead last to the extent that I may reconsider getting a high end gaming laptop, saying f it to steam and just going back to macbook air simply for the keyboard / trackpad experience. Just brutal. 2 stars because it eventually gets done what you need it to, but not without losing a few more hairs on your head.

Better computer than I thought I was buying. Memory is upgradable, has a 10 core processor, wow. Also a surprise is a thunderbolt 4 connection. Case is a little strange looking because it's made of recycled plastic. Speakers not quite loud enough. Fantastic buy. Will use a Bluetooth speaker with it. Wi-Fi version 6 also.

Very fast and responsive. The screen is bright and clear. The only thing that has taken some getting used to is the number pad key placement is slightly different from my old laptop, causing me to make mistakes or have to slow down to prevent making any. Specifically, the zero key is smaller and I end up clicking the period instead.

Great value, and it was even easy to upgrade the RAM to give it a bit of a performance boost. I wasn't looking for a fancy laptop, I needed a workhorse and this one fit the bill. I've been pleased.
