This is a great computer for working what I intended it for. I have 2 other high RAM, high speed computers. I needed a computer to do basic Ham Radio programs without all the fan fair. This computer does this. I am not saying this is all it does. It can do high class software as it has the WIN 8 64bit operating system. Acer is not in the top of the line of computer builders and I think it should be up there with Dell and HP. Yes Buy it!

I bought this pc mainly for net browsing and email. It does a great job for that. This is also my first encounter with Windows 8. I can't say I'm crazy about this OS, but the pc does do a great job for day to day tasks as mentioned above. The tower is small enough to placed on top of a desk if needed, about the size of VCR. Does anyone even have one of those still? My kids love it and so I love the fact they aren't on my custom built pc. I would say that if you're needing a machine for simple tasks and/or wanting to get you're hands on windows 8 this would be a great machine to cut your teeth on.

Good speed, good design, best PC for everyday using (even for the gaming online).

I got this computer for my 91 year old father who was using an older Dell with WinXP. He loves it! It is fast enough for everything he wants. Surfing the net, e-mail with his family, and he even does all his own online banking. It works great and for the price, you just can't beat it.

This is my first windows 8 computer. Took a little getting used to at first. Seems a little slow, but the price was right. Shipping was on time and as promised.

Bought this computer for my 89 year old mother in law for her birthday. Her last was so outdated she couldn't get it to work. My mother in law is so happy with this computer! She can work it easily and is having no trouble with it at all. She's very happy with it. I have enjoyed owning an Acer in the past and felt confident in purchasing this product for her.

I've had this computer for close to a year now and it does everything I need it to do. I generally just surf the web, do some recording for music, and store and manage records and it does everything I need it to do, and it's pretty fast. I'd recommend it to anyone with simple computer needs, you don't really need anything much stronger than this.

Does everything I need to do with no problems.The only thing I had to change was I had to download a wireless driver and they made that easy.

Very pleased with the speed of this ACER product. I would recommend for a user seeking less than a 1TB hard drive and 8gb DDR RAM.

This is a great little machine. Is great for a second computer at home for the times when you need anothe computer.

Needed a new desktop pc. Nice price. Works well with my Acer screen. No problems setting it up. Very compact cpu.

My mom bought this and had problems day one with it and ended up having to spend an additional $200 because she got a virus day one. It may have just been a one off, but I told her she needed to return it. She's kept it for a couple of months and has had nothing but problems...

Works great. Compatible with my old monitor as well as our large screen TV for movie viewing.

I like this computer because I have tried many others, and cannot figure out how to get anywhere. This one is self explanatory. I don't feel bad because I am in my mid 50's, and am not computer savy. But, I very much enjoy this, and feel normal.

for the price and service- I couldn't be happier. My previous computer was Dell XPS- three times the price and1/2 the speed. My Acer is twice the speed for 1/2 the price. The Geek Squad has been a godsend.The quality of service thus far has been above and beyond anything I've received in a long time . Keep up the good works and you'll be back In the black in no time!!!!!!!!

Purchased this pc for our son about one month ago. Great speed and memory. He uses it for social media, videos, and gaming. Haven't heard any complaints; he is 16, so that is amazing.

Bought it for just email & internet use. It works great for the price.

Did not want to spend a lot of money and found this item a good value.

So far it does what I need it to. I haven't encountered any problems as of yet, but I haven't used it that often. I have it set up as a home entertainment PC in my living room and I don't often use my living room for watching television. The only reason I wouldn't recommend it is because I haven't used it enough to really know if there is anything wrong.
