I have downloaded several apps and am learning more about them. The keyboard is good. In come ways I think of this as a poor man's iPad. I have used an iPad through school, and the way this is working reminds me of it, as far as my needs are concerned.

Well at least for the first day until my 6 year old got a whole of it! Why didn't it get 5 stars? Well, 1 GB of RAM isn't enough now a days. If it were 2 GB or more, I wouldn't have to go in and clear the memory. The system is at a min. 50% memory usage, with anything loaded, I would get the memory low message and the system is at about 75-80% usage. As part why my 6 year old son took it, will he uses the iPad 2 Air with 64 GB storage. He use it everyday for reading or playing games. After he used my Acer, he stop using the iPad! Why?!!! - It is lighter and he can whole on to it longer. - The back isn't smooth metal, instead, it is a textured plastic surface for better grip. I feel more confident holding this than the iPad as well as my boys and daughter. - The bezel is wider on the sides when in landscape. We can hold it without the tablet doing things we don't want it to do. My son always have the iPad close things or popup things that he didn't intend to do because of the narrow bezel and he has small fingers! - It is thicker compare to the iPad. It helps to hold the tablet better. Cons: - The 1 GB of memory. I would pay extra to get it up to 2 GB. - Sound isn't the best, but acceptable. Other thoughts: - People! It is a budget tablet. Too many people giving it a low rating because they were expecting $500+ performance tablet in one that cost 1/4 or less of that. Is that realistic? I don't think so. Is like buying a Honda Civic and expecting it to be a Acura RL. - I haven't tested out the cameras and I have no need for them. - Screen - It isn't a super high resolution. So!? it is higher than most laptops out there with bigger screens. Do you really need a 1080 on a 10 inch while you 60 inch TV is still at 1080?
