This is a good tablet for the price. Ideal for a student on a budget. It has a nice bright screen.

I wasn't expecting much out of this tablet, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Setup is easy and takes only a few minutes, especially if you already have a google account. Apps are snappy and load quickly, the interface is simple and easy to use, and the battery life seems to be very good given how much my 3 year old has used the built in and very awesome kids zone app. The Iconia does have a few issues. The screen resolution, while good enough for streaming videos, is definitely not the best I've seen. There is also a decent amount of glare on the screen as well. The speakers are very bad, sounding tinny with no depth whatsoever. The only other issue is the touch screen seems to lag ever so slightly on occasion. Most of the time it's extremely responsive, but every once in a while it will not register a key when typing or click a link when tapped. The touchscreen lag does not happen often enough to really be a deal breaker, but if it starts to happen more regularly, I could see it becoming a real problem. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives for this tablet. I would definitely recommend the Iconia One to anyone looking for a basic tablet for surfing the web, basic apps or consuming content online.

This is a suitable replacement tablet for my destroyed Lenovo. Front facing speakers are a plus!

A little slow and hard to keep screen clean otherwise fine

The Acer Iconia tablet is a well made tablet. It is a name brand, quality product that is priced just slightly higher than the "no name" lower tier products. While it is probably a step down from the much more expensive premium brands, it is a good value. It is a solid, usable product.

Going from a 7 inch Samsung tablet to a 10 inch Acer tablet is night and day difference. It is great tablet for watching YouTube videos and playing games. I would say make sure you get a holder that can double as a stand.

With all of the no-name tablets and overpriced Windows notebooks, it's nice to find a good tablet from a well-known manufacturer at a good price.
