Great gaming laptop.

I have had an old Acer Nitro for years that had less cores and lower graphics card, but now after using this one I realized I was making do with less. The transitions are smooth and the compared to the previous one's fan overheating this one is perfect in both fan sound and efficiency.

Never could’ve asked for a more reliable laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive owned an Acer Nitro 5 since christmas of 2017. That was when i was in 6th or 7th grade. Now i am graduated from high school and currently attending university. This laptop has exceeded my expectations. For the ~7 years that ive owned it, it has done everything ive needed it to do. Some things it did more poorly than others, but it did it nonetheless. Now i wouldnt consider myself an avid pc gamer, but it is able to run all 27 of my steam games relatively well. It can even run the new Cod MW2 for the most part. That particular game makes the laptop crash every so often, but thats to be expected on an rtx1050 i5. Other than that, its handled all my schoolwork, games, important files, documents, programs such as Tinkercad and Matlab, etc. My only complaint about it is the battery life. But an easy fix is just to always have it plugged in, so i dont have a problem with it. I’d like to give a personal thank you to Acer for making this laptop and having me enjoy the last ~7 years with this laptop. I would keep using it, but times change and the money allows me to upgrade to a significantly better laptop performance wise. Dont let the performance of the Nitro 5 steer you away. For the price, this is an insanely good laptop, And for how long its served under me, it should be rightfully so. This laptop will soon be wiped and given to my mom so that she can use it. Thanks for the memories.
