Great gaming laptop for the price. This is the 2nd Acer Nitro 5 we have bought in the last year. The first one had issues with its graphics card and was refunded. So far this one has been in working perfectly and my 13 y/o loves it.

Works great - thanks to solid state there's no wait at start up, enter your ID and your home screen loads instantly. Good graphics, and the lit keyboard is nice too.

Very good beginners gaming laptop, I’ve wanted a gaming laptop and not PC because I’m not trying to play overly processor intensive games so the laptop was perfect!!

Read a ton of reviews before deciding to purchase this Acer Nitro 5 unit. Our last three laptops have all been Asus but this one caught my eye. I have not used it for gaming yet, but for all other functions, it has performed superbly. Super fast start up and responsiveness, I have had no issues running multiple programs at the same time. The only thing I can think of to be aware of is to make sure that when you plug the power in, push it in firmly. I did not do so the first time and it lead to a bit of frustration before I realized that it just needed a little extra umph.

My son loved this Christmas present. It’s great for young gamers. Best Buy was super fast having my order ready for easy pickup. I was greeted at the door and handed my laptop within minutes.

I love it, I don’t know a whole lot about computers but it’s been amazing for me so far. I’d recommend getting a RAM upgrade but that’s pretty cheap and not bad at all.

needs ram upgrade and other than bloated with useless windows garbage like all comps its great for what its made for ..would buy again

It runs games great. The 144hz screen is also nice and crisp. Great value.

My 11 year old likes this and uses it to play Steam and Roblox. The salesperson said this would be ideal for his use since he isn't a serious gamer.

Excellent gaming laptop for entry level gamers. We got our kid this one for the Sims and Stardew Valley and it works a treat.

Good laptop for the price. The trackpad takes some getting used to and is kinda low budget - the area on the trackpad for what constitutes a right click is still somewhat unclear to me after a month of use as there are no markings nor dividers to separate right click from left click from the rest of the trackpad. You can click in certain spots the right side of the trackpad and it will still be a left click somehow which really throws me off sometimes. But other than that the hardware seems solid so far. Lower end GPU which is what you'd expect but overall this can handle less intensive games smoothly. I have not yet tried a AAA game for benchmarks but you can find that kind of info elsewhere online

This laptop was able to handle all my teenage son's gaming needs with minimal to no lag time. It has been great!
