I bought this laptop specifically for playing games and it works great, better than I expected for the price I paid.

I was super excited to purchase this laptop. I would be using it for school, home and some gaming. The laptop itself is really awesome. It has a beautiful screen, super fast and handles all my games. The down side... the battery is horrible!!! When the laptop is unplugged only running the operating system, the battery will only last an hour to an hour and half at the most. I purchased a new battery from Acer and same issue. I have watched all the tips and tricks I can find to prolong the battery life but nothing helps. As long as I keep it plugged in then this laptop is great... but I can't even use it in class unless I sit by a plug and those are hard to find in all my classes. If I could take it back and exchange it, then I would but my 30 day warranty has expired.

This is my second Nitro 5 (the first one a lesser model being bought from Best Buy 3 years ago) and I have to say that I hope Acer keeps producing this series. Like I said, this is a step up, so all the increased power is perfect for the things I use it for (production of music and gaming). And if the last one is any indication, this Nitro should last at least another three years of constant use.

Iight weight, fast port layout could be better. Bigger SSd drive would have been nicer for the $$

Purchased this computer to replace a failing (worn out) laptop used for publishing (Adobe & Microsoft and other produces), which I carry with me stateside & internationally. Hence, the gaming computer. 2GB less on memory card than before, so less resolution than laptop being replaced. Otherwise, better placement of power port (back) and on button (top). Added a larger static drive.

I didn't like the plastic body. It felt cheaper and the fan made sounds

I bought this to game on when I go out of town. I use it at home as well. For what I paid for it and what it came with I fell it is worth the money. I popped it open and added another M.2 drive for storage as it has two M.2 slots. It is a solid laptop with great performance out the gate.

I think it is the best budget gaming laptop that you can buy today, Great Build, Amazing Components, and a good screen will run most of the games at above 60 fps, overall an amazing laptop that will attend to all your needs. (I would recommend it to someone who wants to play games and does not have a very hight budget)

Love it, very fast and excellent performance use it mostly for flightsimming and I like it, good for editing videos too! It does not get hot as other gaming computers has a good heat dissipation! Amazing machine

Nice gaming pc. I use this for running 3D CAD software as well as gaming and I am very happy with it. The only thing I don’t like is the placement of the power cord it plugs into the back of the oven an it is kind of awkward at times.

I like that it has more RAM than my old computer. I also like the screen size which was one of the reasons I chose this one. I wish it had a better graphics card included but the one it has was an improvement over my last machine so I can't complain to much.

Great pc. I run War Thunder and Rocket League on this pc. I get 140fps when playing War Thunder with the RTX dlcc and the graphics are amazing! When playing Rocket League it is great to. In Rocket League I recommend playing it at the highest quality for the best experience. The storage is ok but I would get a extension for it. All around, it’s a good pc.

It is a nice computer but the battery does not last too long. I am not sure if mine has issues but it doesn’t last long.

Fantastic laptop at a great price. Fast enough for dedicated gaming and enough power to run massive spreadsheets.

Great value for the cost. Good hardware specs and the cheapest complete build with components compared to the market. Wish I purchased sooner!

i upgraded from the last model on the 1080p, i5, 256g ssd and i got to say it completely puts the old model to shame this i7 works like a dream

Awesone laptop well worth the price. I use it for both business and gaming. Battery life could be better but worth the trade off for speed.

Everything works perfect the only thing is that whenever your playing a game the battery only lasts like 1 hour besides that it’s a very good laptop

Nice size screen, fast internet. Am not used to a laptop, have always had a desktop but like the convenience of using this anywhere.
