Died at 1 year and 7 days since purchase.

Best Buy said to contact Acer. Acer said, too bad, the warranty was for a year. To say I'm disappointed does not begin to capture my disgust. My son (for whom this was a Christmas present) is heartbroken.

I wanted to transition from playing on a desktop with a 2070 Super + i9 9900k to something that I can take with me on the go. This laptop can easily run fps games like fortnite at 240fps+ using competitive settings, similar to how my $1500 desktop could, I will say though, while the display is still nice at 144hz per second, if you plan to use a laptop for playing competitive games and want a more fair playing field, consider pairing this laptop with a separate gaming monitor that has a high refresh rate and fast response time, closer to 1ms. Being new to gaming laptops and after doing a little research, I discovered that most laptop screens aren't capable of having extremely low response times like a lot of higher end gaming monitors have nowadays. This will cause games to feel laggy even if you are on the best internet and have all of your settings optimized. I think once manufacturers figure out how to get laptop monitors to have a 1ms or lower response time, gaming laptops will be a more viable option for people wanting to be able to compete at the highest level in video games conveniently on the go. With that one limitation aside, everything else about this laptop checks out. I'm pretty happy with the performance of this machine and I'm glad I have something that I can take with on the go if I want to move or travel and still be able to play video games with a pretty solid experience. Thanks acer for selling this solid laptop with good specs for a reasonable price.
