I was looking for a low cost tablet computer for some basic needs at home and one which I could transport easily in a backpack. This computer does the job for my basic entry needs.

I purchased this last year for my wife for having a new tablet, but a Windows type like she asked for and I requested assistance from a "Blue Shirt" in the store to help me purchase one. I said I didn't want to spend $$$$$ that the Microsoft Brand "Surface" cost. He directed me to this one, but I had no idea that it would be such a lemon. My wife, being the non technical person she is, didn't know much about how to use it and when it seemed too difficult or acted up, she just would set asside not telling me how much trouble she was having for quite some time. Unfortunately for us, Best Buy has a real dumb policy about returns on stuff like this especially if you didn't opt for their "upsell on the extra insurance". By the time she finely let me know she had so much trouble, I tried to help, but then quickly determined it was more than just us or user error, and past the Holiday return period further ruining our gift experience. Contacting Acer for assistance was a miserable if not futile attempt at trying to get them to help us other than reformat everything everytime we spoke with them. Never got them to help us past identifing we had a piece of defective "junk". No attempts to try helping us further so my wife just tries to use it only to get on the web and check email but never plan on anything being safe, or saved. What a disappointment that it cant run off the battery for long, or with out keyboard very well.

this Acer One 10 is a better replacement for me than I was using. my old 10" tablet was with me for 7 years. we spent many late nights together. When it started going belly up, I started searching for another 10" table. this Acer unit fulfills the bill for what I need. I can transfer data from it to any of my home computers easily. if you are looking for a light, fast, traveling companion - - - try this Acer product.

I purchased this for my father for Christmas. He had the original kindle fire 7". He loves the Acer. Says it's fast and has lots of options.

I brought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. After seeing the flexibility of this product & quality, I now want to purchase one myself. Everything you need is already loaded on the device & it's so simple & easy. Love it!!

Bought as a transition for someone who hadn't touched their laptop in months. They had been doing everything on android phone or tablet. Wanted to put tablet form factor in their hands for those occasions when you need a pc.

I bought this for 140 on a sale, I have it for a year and have no issues, only thing limited memory, but good for simple tasks

I needed a Windows based machine to bring out in the field as I'm learning astrophotography. I wanted something lightweight and compact. I tried a "pure" tablet but I found that a Windows machine really needs a keyboard and touch pad. I also wanted an inexpensive machine in case it got damaged or disappeared. The Acer One 10 fit the bill. At $200 and just over 1.5 pounds it packs a lot in a small package. Although the keyboard is smaller than standard I find that it is easy type. The keys are raised and spring loaded so it provides excellent tactile feedback. The screen is bright and the colors well saturated. The camera is sharp and is works well with Skype. Battery life has been respectable (at least 4+ hours of active use). The screen is easily detachable and re attachable to use as a pure tablet. My only disappointment is the lack of cases specifically designed for this device. I bought a case for a similar Acer model but it is bulky, blocks the rear facing camera and makes the computer unstable while typing, Perhaps after this computer has been out for awhile someone will make a case specifically for it. Overall the Acer One 10 is a solidly built full featured Windows Computer/Tablet.

I find the tablet user friendly. Very convenient to have the keyboard come with it.

I bought this item because I wanted something that I could sit on the couch and use when I was laid up with spine issue and that was easy to use.

I bought this for my 9 year daughter. She writes stories, plays minecraft and watches YouTube. It works well for her. She loves pulling the screen from the keyboard and laying in bed with it. Only downfall is the speed. I am used to using my MacBook so in comparison, it is slow.

was looking for an inexpensive machine to carry around to do schoolwork. This seemed to fit the bill. Working just as good as the more expensive ones. It gets the job done.

Like the size. Easy to carry and very nice. Works pretty well. Nice keyboard I do like the portability of the laptop

I thought i was buying a tablet but what I got was a full laptop with keyboard and I can connect my mouse to the keyboard and it's as good as any computer.

Wanted to use the app Windows 10 has for music, Groove Music, for instructing line dancing. Did not want an expensive unit to do so and this fits my needs.

I've had the tablet for over a month. I purchased it to use while traveling...it was a great tablet. It comes with microsoft word mobile which worked real good.

Used it for a short period of time but realized it wasn't quite strong enough for Skyping. Gave it to a family member and purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

I really wanted to like this. But if you use it for more than basic software, it'll lose power even when plugged in. That's a deal breaker for me.

Problem getting the product at first. Once the product was received, it worked perfectly for a week or so. Once the windows 10 upgrade was pushed the product stopped working properly. Customer service was excellent and replaced the product at no cost.
