I bought this tablet/computer for a long trip abroad and I needed something I could easily carry around and that had all the capabilities of a computer. The USB port is great and gives more versatility than just a tablet. The image is good, the sound is not the greatest but it works fine. Overall, it's a great purchase.

I now own 3 of these beauties and they work great for me. The 32 Gig is a little small at times but I plugged in a 128 GB SDXC and all is well. They have MS Office mobile installed from the factory

I have a small business and I utilize this tablet for work, purchase orders, estimate, product look up. It's working great. The only drawback might be battery life, so I've learned to shut it down in between use. It turns on quickly and is ready to go.

I bought this laptop to "play" with the capabilities of a sub $200 machine. I'm a software developer by profession, so was curious to see how it performed and the limitations. On the plus side: + Overall, I was very impressed: Windows 10 with a quad-core processor is pretty slick. Bootup is quick. Performance is OK. I don't expect it to be great, but it's more than adequate for searching the web or email. I don't do video but others have commented on multi-media performance. + The screen resolution and clarity are great. Touch screen support is likewise a good feature. I looked at a similarly priced machine from Samsung without touch screen support and selected this one instead. + I haven't used much as a tablet, but that's a nice option. + The keyboard is small but has nice size keys for the size. I don't do a lot of typing, but it's petty good for email + Using 32-bit Windows provides considerably more user storage on the 32 GB storage than a 64-bit option would have provided, but it would have reduced compatibility problems (see below). + People have mentioned flaky WIFI but I haven't experience it yet in 2 months of use. + There's both a USB and mini-USB port as well as mini-HDMI. This is a good number of ports for a machine this size. The USB seemed a bit slow, perhaps they're USB 2.0. On the minus side (mostly pretty technical): - Almost impossible to use as a Linux machine. Use of 32-bit Windows with a 32-bit EFI boot is unsupported by all except Debian. The rest of the world is moving toward 64-bit, so this is unlikely to be supported by Ubuntu and others for some time to come. - EFI boot is the only boot protocol option provided. There is no legacy boot support.. You can disable secure boot in the BIOS which allows you to boot non-Windows options. I've tried Linux and will try Android next. - Windows Image backup does not work. This machine has a "special" type of SSD (eMMC) that is not supported. In fact I haven't been able to get any image backup tool to work. Acronis doesn't support eMMC drives, and AOMEI supports eMMC, but cannot backup all partitions, So you won't end up with a bootable machine with AOMEI. - You can create a bootable USB via recovery tools and copy files to that USB, but that's not the solution I want to restore my machine to factory settings. - Battery life is OK,but don't expect the 8 hours they claim - 6 is closer. - The power connector to the screen it very tiny and flimsy. I haven't broken it yet, but looks like it will eventually get bent. I'm waiting for eMMC image backup support prior to actually installing Linux, although the fact that I can create a bootable Debian Linux image on USB indicates I should be able to get something running, possibly without some operational drivers. In summary, a very nice architecture to support a low-cost, but usable mainstream system.

I dont know if I would recommend this computer to anyone unless it is for general document and light work. Not much memory and I dropped it once and the touch screen stopped working.

i needed a light weight, simple, cheap laptop for college nothing fancy just to download paper work, print it and read my text book thats it. but occasionally the acer would glitches or freezes on me, google chrome files (such as doc, power point) do not work well and its what mostly my professor would used to upload on black board. using e-book on this tablet would cause it to freeze, as well other things will go wrong so now i use it for web-surfing and nothing more. the camera is very poorly, my Samsung chrome functions better and faster it doesn't give me glitches or other problems like this acer. not college friendly but great for web surfing.
