This is a replacement for the first one that just didn't work well. This one has worked without a fault so far.

Purchased at Best Buy several weeks ago, wanted to use for a few weeks before reviewing. Pros: Small, lightweight, keyboard easy to type on, easy to use, starts up quickly, simple design, bright screen, easy wifi/device connectivity, great price. Cons: VERY short power cord, plugs in at monitor/tablet section rather than near keyboard like typical laptops, so this will lead to device toppling over easily - be careful! Doesn't include free software, just trials, has lower storage capacity than average laptops, no optical drive included. COMMENTS: Overall, I am very satisified with this product! I solved the short cord issue with a $3 extension cord from Walgreens that I keep always attached. Since it only includes trials for software, I downloaded Apache OpenOffice (identical to MWord and fully file-compatible, but FREE!# from Cnet, and AVG for antivirus #it is actually still free - just bypass the upgrade option during installation)...Prefer that to Norton or McAfee anyway. As for the toppling over, just be very careful where you place it...Near to table or chair edges when plugged in is a bad choice - keep screen bent forward a bit to keep it balanced. Doesn't get as hot as my larger computer. Although there is reduced storage, flash drives help with this, and I have a USB optical drive I can use for CDs/DVDs. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for an economical, easy-to-use, lightweight and portable option! Just wish it had a light-up keyboard like a previous ACER laptop. They don't seem to be very popular, but do make typing less difficult in the dark.

The first one stopped connecting to wifi after 2 weeks. They Geeks couldn't get it to work so they gave me a new one and that has worked perfectly for 2 months now.

i bought this computer as soon as i had enough for it. as soon as i bought it, i was impressed! boot time was very fast. in about 5 seconds, i was presented with the log-in screen (this is of course after i had already done set-up). i got the 32GB model with 2GB RAM and the quad-core intel atom CPU. i noticed upon reading reviews before my purchase that wi-fi would shut off if it's in sleep that would require the reboot of the machine. that is false (or at least so in my experience). there is the default function that when the computer goes into sleep mode that it will disconnect from wi-fi, but that is for the purpose of preserving battery life. i went into control panel and disabled that and have had no complaints. the only complaints that i do have are in regards to the keyboard dock. the keyboard key travel feels very nice and the touchpad is incredibly responsive for a budget pc. the only things i dont like about the dock is that it is not weighted and the keys are not backlit. what i mean by weighted is that the tablet portion makes the combo very top-heavy and likely to tip over. i would've liked it if acer incorporated some lead weights into the palm rest areas of the dock to add a bit of balance to the pc as a whole. as for the backlit keys, that's just something i was looking for that this computer didnt offer. aside from the physical aspects, the 2GB of ram is plenty if you're the type of person to close out of applications as soon as you are finished using them. i can run google chrome, my code editor, my code emulator, and skype with screen sharing while only using about 1.6/1.9GB. i have seen no hiccups from the processor as of yet and i've even run a few remedial games with barely any lag (they were not steam games!!). on a side note, with task manager i've noticed that the CPU does run occasionally above 2GHz and mainly stays between .9GHz and 1.8GHz a majority of the time. graphics are great, but it is not HD (1080p). honestly 480p seems more likely and 720p is pushing it! windows 10 runs very smooth on this pc and makes it even more versatile. the only thing im having n issue with as of the moment is bluetooth to my skullcandy hesh2 wireless headset. however, i just jack-in. the acer's integrated mic is more than sufficient for recording.the speakers however are a bit lacking. barely any noticable bass and the treble makes them sound rather tinny. i've tried lowering the treble and raising the bass in EQ settings and barely made any difference so i just went back to default. as for netflix and skype, speakers are fine. i'm not exactly a fan of the rear-facing speakers, but i barely ever use them so its whatever. for $220 (including tax), this far exceeds my expectations! i keep my devices in cases and as far away from disaster situations as possible, but for anyone else, i recommend the best buy accidental damage protection plan. $40 for a year and $80 for 3yrs. the charging cable that comes with it is very flimsy, but if it ever breaks, the computer can still be charged with the micro usb port. in my case i keep a 12,000mAh battery charger and i can keep this pc running for a full 24 hours no issue! bought this pc to code and for school and it fits my purposes perfectly! it even has a rear-facing camera for me to record my lectures! for the standard user, this will be the best pc you can buy for the lowest cost.

The computer didn't come with a wifi adaptor. It didn't recognize any wireless internet signal. I had to return it to the store the next day. Luckily the customer service desk was awesome and very helpful. The product I received was probably just a dud but still...

good unit for internet surfing and light computer work

It does everything, it just does it slowly. Camera is ok in a bright setting.

It is a nice size for travel and works pretty good

Like the peice but not happy with Windows 10 it's not as easy as the last few versions
