I bought this laptop primarily to be able to run Virtual Reality. (Specifically the HTC Vive). The laptop's performance is phenomenal. You can play VR games while downloading new games and have seamless gaming without any lagging or slowing of the visible frame-rate. The solid state drive makes startups and shut-downs incredibly fast. From pressing the power button to being able to use the computer is consistently less than 20 seconds, and from clicking restart to being functionally usable is less than 25 seconds. The included fan that can be used in place of the DVD drive is also excellent and aids in effective and efficient heat dissipation even under intense gaming conditions. This laptop is on the heavy side compared to most models of its size, (Not an issue for me personally, however if portability is high on your priority list, it's something you should consider) however the design feels very sturdy and reliable. The computer is so great that the only thing that I can think to complain about is that the "Num Lock" key defaults to 'off' when you get to the logon screen. (this may even be something that can be adjusted in the settings). Overall an easy 5 Star vote!

This computer has, thus far, served all of my computing needs for college, and I hope it continues to be exactly what I need going forward.

Laptop is great and works like it suppose to. Had the laptop for a year and have had no issues with anything like on line reviews have suggested.
