2 days and I already have a problem where my pc cannot start properly. I am trying to reset it now and all my files is deleted from the laptop

Love this gaming laptop! I wanted a laptop for doing home videos. The Best Buy sales person I talked to recommended this one. I did take a lot of time looking at reviews for different laptops for my budget < $1500 and this kept coming up as the most overall complete laptop in my price range. I did find other laptops that might have an extra feature but then was missing something. So I kept coming back to this one. The selling points for me was - best cooling system in gaming laptop I could find - ddr5 - 12th gen i7 - number pad on the keyboard - keyboard lighting is really cool - best selection of ports including all important ones especially thunderbolt and if anything is missing like card reader I can just plug in my adapter so no problem - for most things the screen display resolution is perfect but if I need 4k video screen I can just plug in a 4k tv or monitor to proof those videos - for a gaming laptop it’s battery life was about as good as it gets since all gaming laptop are not known for longevity. It works fine for my web surfing and have not had any issues with battery running out. For video work I just plug in anyway. It has a massive charger so no power issues. - I am not really a big gamer but all reviews I read gave it excellent reviews for gaming so I feel confident as I venture into that area I will be set for whatever games I end up playing. For me this is the perfect laptop. I did also purchase a second drive to supplement the built in one so I could hold more video files. The drive I purchased was WD - Black SN850 1TB Internal Gaming SSD PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe. It works perfectly in my laptop. I looked up online how to insert it and detect and format the drive. Online instructions made it easy to install and set up as a second drive.

Overall a good gaming laptop. Wish it had more space considering it is built for gaming. Great cooling system and the turbo fan is a great addition for those who play hardcore for hours. Would recommend to others. Wish I would of gotten the larger screen but it has great graphics. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the battery life doesn't seem to last very long.

However, if you can justify the cost, I highly recommend the Helios 300.

Best gaming laptop I’ve ever had! The cooling on it is great, the build/material is great. I was playing on this laptop without my power chord plugged in and there was such a minimal impact on performance. The only downside is the top of the laptop is prone to getting fingerprints and smudges.

Great quality and performance (Speed, display, battery. I already have one year with my laptop and it works awesome. Super fast and useful. My only downside is the weight, it may be a bit heavy if you’re looking for something lighter.

While it's a bit on the heavy side, the performance and display quality make it well worth it for serious gamers.

Solid gaming laptop overall with a few drawbacks. -The trackpad response seems to be a bit unreliable at times. -heavy laptop but good build quality. -fans on the turbo mode are very loud but they do dispel heat well. -if you’re gaming without using the turbo mode, this laptop can get HOT. -very big/bulky charger (200+ watts I believe) but it is a gaming laptop so if that is your primary use it shouldn’t be a problem. -battery life is not the best but I always have the charger with me so it’s not the worst but it is inconvenient how often you have to plug it in again. Most of the issues I have with it are personal preferences but the laptop itself isn’t bad. I use it mostly for school and gaming when away from home and it can accomplish both.

This computer is OK but i have had mine for 2 years use it only moderately. Do not leave it plugged in and the battery is already shot. The cord doesn't stay in the port to charge it if you have it on your lap so it must stay on a table. The graphics are nice. a lot of steam games crash the computer regularly. Overall i wouldn't bunny it again just based on the battery and battery port.

Beast of a laptop for the price. 3060 is a high watt version, so you're getting great performance there. Great build quality and good looking

it’s really good and pretty fast and handles bulky games pretty well however i would say it still gets pretty hot despite the fans (i sit it on a pillow which it specifically advised not to do so i assume that’s the issue. i ran out of storage pretty quickly, mind u i play a lot of video games and they take up storage pretty quickly, but it is a pretty easy fix; i just plan on buying an ssd card which i kinda figured i would be doing when i purchased it. other than that i reallt really like it.

This one is quite a solid build if you can get it with a discount price of $999. RTX 3060 with 6GB memory might not be sufficient if you want to play graphically demanding games, but can definitively support relatively light games like monster hunters series. Cons: * Every common flaw a gaming laptop has: heavy, short battery life, loud fan noise. Those are quite expected and deserve no complaints. * Stupid loud opening sound when starting the laptop. This is typically acer's fault and you can mute the sound in the bios.

Defenitly worth the price. It runs everything like butter and the only time i lag is if i load it up with unoptimized mods. I got this on sale and if it is in sale BUY IT. You really can't beat the price with the mobility and basically have a fully functional PC at your finger tips. Honeslty if it were to go in sale again id buy another for my fiancee. If you are picky about noise at max fan speed it sounds louder than a first generation ps4 playing the spider-man game but with headphones you dont notice it.

This ACER Predator Helios 300 is a quality laptop. I am not a gamer, and I probably never will be a gamer. But I love this laptop for many reasons. It performs beautifully. Amazingly fast for MS Office apps, especially Excel and Onedrive which are my primary daily apps. It handles the computing loads that multiple active apps present without breaking a sweat. Browsers fly swiftly on my Xfinity wifi compared to my previous major brand, high-end laptop. The ACER is solidly built. Travel case included, the unit will survive the rigors of travel better than most laptops I've considered for purchase. The ACER company seems to provide robust support, though I've not needed help, it has been trouble-free for the month I have been using it. Sorry for you gamers looking for nitty gritty gamer info, but know that I love this baby and I am now a big ACER fan.

Good graphics, ton of memory, fast processing speeds. Plus i mean cool lights !

The Acer Predator has been a nice upgrade from our previous laptop. This one so far, has handled everything we've thrown at it. Graphics intensive gaming is no problem. Load times are quick also, so overall speed is great when running software of any type (even non-graphics intensive programs). We are planning using this in College also (Engineering). It meets the specs (in every way - HD, Memory, CPU, & graphics) for the above average recommended computer.

This gaming laptop is amazingly fast. Boots up in aeconds, and handles graphics intensive gaming with ease. The power brick is HUGE, but thats what delivers the ability for the laptop to really shine. Build quality is excellent. I also like the overall look and feel. No complaints or regrets on this Black Friday purchase!

I really recommended this laptop only if you have no option. This laptop is too heavy and is only for playing. If you wanna play install a fan under the laptop, the laptop get higher temperature quickly. Still good for playing. Eventhough it supor ultra graphics, you better use low graphics because it gonna boom. Still a good laptop though.
