Bought it, great for gaming, work and whatever else I need a computer for. I did not like the free things it came with amazon music which I already have and something else I already have. So if it wasnt on sale with those 2 “free things” I would have been very dissatisfied, they should have something better paired with it.

So far this has exceeded my expectations and runs everything great. Fan control and heat was last comps issues this one has amazing fans and auto plus a manual bar to pick any speed. Fans can get loud but your going to have some of that using a game plus i use headphones anyway so no issue. This comp has some onboard cool monitoring and control issues for not only fans plus temp ut lighting and everything.

Overall just really amazing. I bought this laptop on sale to replace my work horse of a laptop for school and to do some minor gaming when im not at home. Very impressed as its been handling everything from school work to some heavy GTA 5 playing time. I will say tho it runs a little hot but as long as you have a cooling pad its not that big of an issue

I gotta say, this has to be one of the best laptops that I got my hands on. Everything runs smooth and graphics are clean and crisp and I got it in time before it got sold out. Overall, I had this for one month and It was great. I would recommend this. ACER really improved on this model than the 2021 model.

Best portable gaming/audio engineering workhorse

This was my first "gaming pc" I've ever owned. I was looking for something that met my needs for gaming as well as Pro Tools audio recording and mixing. I've owned it for a few months now and have had absolutely no issues even under heavy load of 4k 244fps gaming and large audio mixing with 25-30 plug-ins running at any given time. I would 100% recommend this pc to anyone that wants a serious gaming machine that also doubles as a workhorse with expandable ram for under $2,000.

Has an amazing refresh rate, honestly more than any other laptop I have ever seen - 240Hz, that's insane! Honestly though, the screen brightness was abysmal. Seriously. This is a $2100 device that I got for the generous price of $1400 (seriously $700 off) and it still wasn't enough for me to like this laptop. The ASUS Rog Flow X16 has approximately x3 as much brightness NIT measures, and by God, it's noticeable. If you like dark screens you strain your eyes to see, go for this device. Always remember: A beautiful, high refresh rate screen means nothing if you can't even decipher what you're looking at because it's so dark lol

This laptop is everything you could ask for! I use it as a mobile gaming laptop when im not around my latest gen pc setup. The optimization of this system is a must. But even straight out of the box, this is a pretty strong system! You cant go wrong. This is the best bang for your buck.

Pretty darn heavy and the keyboard and trackpad are a bit to get used to because they’re off center. The fan is super loud and it doesn’t hold a charge for very long when playing games.

Tried a different laptop with slightly newer hardware (and more expensive) but had issues with two of them before utlimately just returning for this one. For the sale price I have no complaints and seems to be running well and a large improvement over what I have been using.

My wife and I have had Acer laptops since 2011 when i got the Acer Inspire x741 with the i5 (i know, old school, but it still rocks.) Got this laptop to try and get work done, game, video edit, photography, stream, and other heavy tasks.
From the start, this has been a regretful event. Got home, set up, plugged in, pressed power button........nothing. Held power button......... nothing. Held for 2 seconds...... turbo light came on....thats a start. 20 seconds later the screen came to life. 2 minutes to get screen to turn on for a $2000 laptop... somethings going on.
Computer loads after 10 minutes. Alright, maybe this will go smoothly (fingers, eyes, legs, arms, everything crossed). 26 updates needed. First few go fast. Then they start saying error on updates. Ok, restart as some of the updates needed to have the computer restart to apply them. 1 hour of updates went by and the windows updates are complete.
Time to start getting this going.....or so i thought. Nvidia control panel update needed. Updated. Nvidia GeForce experience needed for driver installs...no problem as I love their products.
After all the updates and everything 3 hours has gone by. Now we have advertisements popping up to sell more stuff (lets go back to the $2000 price point that was just popped on this, that should have come with it...way to go developers.....lets try again.)
Once it was up and running and had let the dogs out for the third time, its time to see what this could do. Loaded Adobe Photo, took no time..pleased (hence the 2 stars). Went for downloading Steam and that was fast. However COD on this laptop even after tweaking the settings couldn't get what most would consider decent. Alright lets try something else, Horizon 5 loaded fast, but lagged and not just a little....it was like flickering lights on and off in a strobe effect while watching someone walk....
Exchanged for a different computer that costs $650 less and have had no issues running COD, Horizon 4 and 5, Tarkov, and other games. Also only 40 minutes to update....
Bottom line..dont waste your money on this overpriced paper weight. I really wanted to love this computer, but after that experience, there is a lot of pricepoint considerations that need to be rethought as well as build components.

First of all,
I must make a mention that I was expecting an upgrade from an old Toshiba laptop that I had before. As time goes by, this laptop runs smoothly. If you are an ultra settings player, this laptop can be one of your options.
