The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16" exceeded my expectations! The performance is excellent, with the Intel i7 and RTX 4060 running everything quickly and smoothly. A good 165Hz screen, and it serves me perfectly for both gaming and day-to-day tasks as a developer. A complete machine!

Wonderful laptop so far. So fast and nice looking. I love the colorful keyboard and the sound it makes when it turns on. I’m glad I bought it.

Great laptop, nice screen. Overall a bit heavy. Biggest complaint, the power supply is absurdly heavy and large.

Performance is unmatched for the sale price. 4600 nvidia rtx, 16 gb ram upgraded to 40 gb on my rig. Cpu measures 97% in Passmark benchmark software.

I was able to snag this on sale for $1199 so for the price the specs are incredible and the build quality is very nice. I bought it mostly for school work as i do a lot of virtual environments so I upgraded the RAM to 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 4800Mhz. It was a easy $80 dollar upgrade that i purchased off amazon. It has another slot for another SSD which i plan to utilize down the road. I highly recommend this laptop.

Laptop is a excellent, I had to replace with a new one a week after having it because the charger stopped working for reasons unknown,I usually keep my laptop for years before switching to a new one. But staff was super friendly and understanding in replacing the Predator laptop. It has great battery quality. And excellent graphics nice sound system. Cool feature is the alien sound when u first turn it on.

Excellent product! It was recommended by my Son Cesar Jr. who worked on Sales for Best Buy Denton Texas, I am using the Predator for Freelance Design Work using a 3D Software, the files are large size, and the performance of the laptop rendering the drawing is just Perfect! Good rig. Ez upgraded RAM and ssd. A little heavy and fans r loud but it runs well.

Experience has been really good, no massive issues. I did have a couple of minor ones which seem to be fixed now which were: Advanced Optimus/Auto Select (Nvidia): I always had it on Auto Select so it would switch to Nvidia GPU only when I was gaming and use the inbuilt Intel GPU when doing everything else. I found that after a period of time after a few switches on/off, it would cause screen hanging when doing something as simple as scrolling the net. I only run it on the Nvidia GPU only setting now as it's always plugged in to power and have now found that the Acer BIOS update to 1.13 (I think) has fixed it. Along with this I also disabled fast boot as recommended somewhere else. Acer Care Centre Battery Charge Limit: I switched this feature on to extend the battery life over time as 99% of the time I'm plugged into power. I found that on occasions this feature would turn itself off and charge back to 100%. The fix for this was to disable "Power-ofi USB charging" in Acer Quick Access. Other than those it has been perfect, CPU still runs a bit hot with the fans on auto but haven't had a single issue with anything yet, I just manually turn the fans up when I get paranoid. Overall i love my new laptop and I recommend this.

It has been nearly 10 months since I bought this laptop. I did not have any problems so far. Im still getting decent performance in every game, CS2 250-350fps ( with some performance boost tweaks) , Valorant 350-500 fps, RDR2 constant 144. Its my first ever Acer product and Im really grateful that Im using it. Also Im using it with Dell Alienware 240hz monitor, never had any problems with HDMI etc and additionally laptops provide more performance with the external monitors. If you are college student like me and can’t decide whether you want to buy desktop or laptop, I recommend you to buy a monitor with the laptop. By the way the laptop is pretty durable, I bought it at US and returned back to Turkey and during the travel my backpack accidentally fell off from the trunk and thankfully it only got simple damage and did not affect anything. The laptop is great. I am currently using it in triple boot with Windows 11, Ubuntu 20, and Ubuntu 22, abs I have faced no issue so far in last 2 months. Battery is pretty good. It doesn’t get hot as much. The build quality is a bit bad but that’s what you’ll get for this price so it’s reasonable. A powerful machine. I use it frequently for outdoor environments as it works great.

I'm very happy with my Purchase. Screen looks gorgeous to me, very bright. Laptop runs anything I throw at it. Stays mostly cool. It can run warm if it's sitting on your lap and you are charging it and playing an intensive game but nothing the fans can't handle.

This laptop is a perfect laptop for gaming propose. I wanted a gaming laptop at good price which is when I stumble upon this laptop. Also it has fan for cooling in both sides the cooling is nice for a gaming laptop too.

It is a very good quality gaming laptop, the materials with which it is built are of very good quality, it is a very fast laptop and it is at an incredible price for all the top-of-the-range components it comes with.

It's taken a few tweaks to get it running as I wish, but overall, this is proving to be a very solid gaming and utility laptop. I'd recommend it to others interested in a mid-level priced laptop, especially if you enjoy MMORPGs, like Guild Wars 2 or World of Warcraft.

Literally the best of all worlds. My basic prerequisites were a top of the line processor and a good screen. Nothing else had this combination for this price point for a 16" screen. The intel i7-13700HX is perfect for my needs, was mainly looking for a higher core/thread count processor. I've seen better QHD screens. This feels more like a FHD. Refresh rate is well, normal for a 165hz. Cooling is excellent. Feels pretty lightweight compared to other laptops. Good array of ports. Speakers are mid, but its fine, they are loud enough. The charger is a brick. Overall pretty stacked for the price point. Good buy.

Powerfull machine. i can Play Fortnite on my monitor with high grafics and 240fps. Screen color is awesome. I Paid 1,168 on with taxes.
