I don't hate it but two pretty major drawbacks are how quickly it heats up (I use a laptop table to help circulation) and how quickly the battery dies. If its not plugged in I'm lucky to get one hour of playtime on a fully charged battery.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It works but after a Year the graphics card failed along with the one of the fans On top of that the Geeksquat at Odessa TX told me that they are going to fix it, after I got it back, they only cleaned it and check the updates and clean the patches (something that I did already) They send my computer to other department to get it fix and I’m still waiting for an answer.

However, if you plan on using this near a power outlet, I don't think you'll find a laptop at this price point (catch it on sale) that offers the plethora of features/scalability that this one does.

No issues whatsoever. Days 4-8ish: The computer began having some mild issues. made sure all software and BIOS were up to date. no change. After a reset (keeping my data) things improved. Next several days: After factory resetting 2 more times, and an apparent complete failure of the GPU, I returned this unit and bought a smokin' good deal of a better machine. Never looked back. Overall, when it worked, this machine was great and ran everything I wanted it to. Having a number pad was cool, and I really liked the keyboard backlighting features. For the sale price that I purchased it at, this was a sweet budget laptop that I had high hopes for. Biggest draw for me was having 1TB of memory already installed. The Acer PredatorSense app was very straightforward and easy to use. Alas, it may be a good model and I ended up with a lemon. I just might recommend looking around a little more before settling for this unit.
