If you can catch this monitor on sale like I did, this is a great deal.Acer has been around for a good while so I believe they make monitors that have longevity. This monitor came with an HDMI cable included no DP cable.

Honestly was looking for a budget OLED and this is it!! Wow !! Set up was incredably easy. Only thing that gave it 1 star less is the fact that it keeps asking me to shut off every 1hr-1.5hr for 6min so the pixels can rest and refresh ( which is important for lifespan of the OLED ). 100% reccomnend.

Amazing! It came just in time for Christmas! It looks 10x better than what I had before. I only saw this great deal for Best Buy after searching for months for an OLED monitor.

I purchased this monitor as a secondary to my LG Ultragear 4K 32in. I couldn’t be happier with the product. It’s an amazing monitor for the value!

I really do enjoy not only how truly thin this monitor is, but as well as the fact that the specs for its price are truly amazing.

Good picture, but input issues. HDMI had to be switched until one worked. Error message pops up and I cannot click the power button or menu anymore. Less than couple days old. If it didn’t have these flaws it would be a great monitor but what’s with the errors?

Opened the box and everything was good but realized there wasn’t a Display Port and only had an HDMI cable. Luckily I had a Display Port from my old monitor.

Dear DubbleAA,
Users have a choice on what connection they want to use for their monitor. This monitor only allows for connection via one cable. If cables are provided for both inputs, each consumer of this product would have a cable that would not be used. This would create unnecessary environmental waste and not be a cost effective approach. We try to provide a cable for a connection that the majority of users would use. We understand this may not meet the needs of all users that want to use the DP connection.
We appreciate you taking the time to write this review.
Regards,
Acer America

[Employee of bestbuy] If you have never used an OLED monitor before, the first thing that hits you is the way the screen looks the moment it turns on. The image has a kind of depth and clarity that feels different from LED or IPS displays. Every pixel lights itself, so the screen can show true black without any glow around bright objects. This alone makes movies, games, and even everyday browsing feel sharper and cleaner. Color accuracy is another area where OLED pulls ahead. The colors look rich without feeling exaggerated, and gradients look smooth with no weird banding. Whether you are editing photos, watching HDR videos, or gaming, the panel feels consistent and reliable. HDR performance is especially impressive because the monitor can flick individual pixels on and off, giving bright highlights a punch that LED monitors struggle to match. Response time is one of the biggest strengths. Motion looks clean and smooth, even at high frame rates. Fast moving scenes in competitive games feel crisp with almost no smearing. It makes aiming easier and reduces eye strain during long sessions. Even if you switch between work and gaming, the experience stays solid all around. One thing you notice after using it for a while is how comfortable it is on the eyes. Because black pixels are actually off, the screen is less harsh during night use. Text looks sharp, and the lack of glow or blooming around bright objects makes reading and editing much easier. There are trade offs though. OLED monitors can suffer from image retention or burn in if the same static element stays on screen for long periods. Most modern models include protection features like pixel shifting and screen refresh cycles. These work well, but it is still something you need to keep in mind. Brightness is another limitation. OLED panels can look incredible in dim rooms, but in very bright environments an LED monitor might still beat it for overall visibility. Build quality and design tend to feel premium. Most OLED monitors have thin panels, sturdy stands, and clean minimal frames that look great on a desk. Connectivity is usually strong with USB C support on many models, multiple HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and sometimes even built in KVM switches. For gaming, movies, creative work, and general use, an OLED monitor almost feels like an upgrade in every direction. The clarity, contrast, and motion quality create a viewing experience that is hard to go back from. If you spend a lot of time at your desk or you want your setup to feel high end, an OLED monitor is one of the best investments you can make. The only real question is whether the extra cost and the small risk of burn in matter to you. If they do not, you are getting one of the best displays available right now.

The Acer Predator X27U is one of the best monitors I’ve used, especially if you care about both gaming and visual quality. The QD-OLED panel makes an immediate difference. Blacks are truly black, contrast is excellent, and colors look rich and alive. Everything on the screen looks clean and high quality, from games to movies. The 27-in resolution feels like the sweet spot. It’s sharp without being too demanding on hardware. Text is clear, details are crisp, and the screen size works perfectly for desk setups. For games like Cities: Skylines 2, this monitor really shines. The colors make cities look vibrant, nighttime lighting looks realistic, and zooming around the map feels smooth. Long sessions are easy on the eyes because the image looks natural and not washed out. In truck simulator games, the OLED contrast makes a huge difference. Driving at night, going through tunnels, or watching sunsets looks incredibly realistic. The depth and lighting make the experience more immersive, especially when cruising for long periods. For fast-paced games like Battlefield 6, the performance is on another level. The 280Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time make gameplay feel instant. Movement is extremely smooth, aiming feels more precise, and there’s almost no motion blur. Watching movies on this monitor is also a great experience. OLED blacks make dark scenes look cinematic instead of gray, and colors look rich without being over-saturated. Movies feel more immersive because of the contrast and clarity, even without extremely high brightness. HDR looks good thanks to the OLED contrast. While it’s not the brightest monitor on paper, the true blacks make highlights stand out naturally, which makes HDR content feel more realistic.

Got this as part of a dual-screen setup for my son's gaming rig, and putting it side by side with an IPS screen does it all the justice in the world. The colors are wonderfully rich, the blacks make the IPS screen look like ugly washed-out gray, and the framerate gives him all the advantages he could need in his gaming. Just a stunning display at a very reasonable price. Only annoyance thus far is it's very aggressive about trying to avoid burn-in (which I appreciate) but notifications pop up every 45 minutes or so while gaming as the screen wants to shut down for a minute or two to refresh itself. Hoping there's a way to stop them from popping up but haven't found one yet.

The monitor itself is great. Design is a little “gamer” but it’s very adjustable so no problem getting the height and angle adjusted however you need. It’s also so thin you guys. Crazy. Looks way better than an ips. Very clear, text is legible. It appears to be a Samsung panel (qd-oled). Once everything is set up (more on this), HDR works, and looks good, but we will circle back on that. Variable refresh is amazing, and games are silky smooth. Setup! I have a few complaints although I can’t really fault the monitor, and it boils down to Windows is garbage at HDR. Getting the proper drivers installed and getting Windows to recognize the monitor as HDR is obtuse and much more complicated than it needs to be. With a Mac, you plug it in and you’re done, it works out the box and looks amazing. Plug this into a Windows box and you can look forward to spending an hour or two coaxing it to recognize the monitor as HDR as you install drivers and calibrate. Until you do it looks terrible. If Acer is to blame for anything, it’s the lack of documentation for initial setup and UI design that adds a little bit to the confusion. The amount of people that buy this monitor and feel ambivalent about it due to improper setup is likely fairly substantial, substantial enough for the OEM’s to get on Microsoft’s case about it. Fix your OS, Microsft, for the love of god.

I’m extremely happy with this new computer monitor. The display quality is outstanding—crisp resolution, vibrant colors, and excellent brightness that makes everything from spreadsheets to videos look sharp and easy on the eyes. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the monitor feels solid and well-built. I especially appreciate the screen size and clarity, which have noticeably improved my productivity and reduced eye strain during long work sessions. The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my workspace, and the adjustable stand makes it easy to find a comfortable viewing angle. Overall, this monitor has exceeded my expectations and feels like a great value for the quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their workstation or home office.

The colors on this are bounds better than any LCD screen I've had in the past and the black levels let them be even more punchy. PSA: Don't do HDR on this monitor or the colors will be very washed out in comparison. This isn't a 1,000 nit display and anything under that doesn't show true hdr so you're missing out with HDR turned on.
