I'm a college student, and I needed something thin and light to carry around on campus. I have a larger laptop that can run bigger programs, but this chromebook is perfect for taking notes, watching Netflix between classes, and other websurfing tasks.

Nice, lightweight and smooth running laptop. Not as much memory as I would have liked but great price!

I bought this after always having larger nicer laptops. Mine broke and I wanted to try a small size that is easier to carry around when needed. The chrome took a little bit for me to figure out, but now I like it. This is also my first touch screen laptop and I wouldn't go back to a non touch screen again. I love being able to quickly enlarge small text to read it or see something better. I can still have many windows open and it is plenty fast. Watching a video is fine too. I don't play games or do high tech stuff, but it is perfect for surfing the web, emails and processing credit cards for my small business on occasion. I'm glad I didn't pay more money on something else.

Going from an iPad to a Chromebook took a little adjusting. But now that I've done it, I'll never go back. Love the touch screen feature in addition an attached keyboard. And being able to swivel the device to hide the keyboard, well it's the best of all worlds. Would definitely recommend this to others. Hubby wishes this particular model came in black and for the same low price.

This was a gift for my niece who did some work for me and I paid her for it (get them learning early). She's 13 and when I asked if she wanted the money or for me to get her a laptop - she said she wanted the money to get her nails done - haha. I got her the laptop and gave her $20. She was upset until shet got and she had not put it down since. She liked the white color and it has really good durability. Great buy!

Awesome mini chromebook looks amazing, good processor. Pretty touch screen.

I had bought the Acer R11 chromebooks for my businesses employees to run our web-based practice management software and managing most of our data in Google Drive. My only complaints on the R11's are that the screen is a bit small, and the device itself is a bit thick. It is constructed sturdily however and seems ready do withstand the punishment of being dragged throughout a busy veterinary hospital all day. Battery life is good. We can get through a 12 hour work day without needing to plug in but it is tight and we definitely need to charge overnight. It works well in both Tablet and Laptop modes. The versatility and portability are perfect for my business where we need to have access to a screen in numerous random places at random times. If You need a bigger screen Acer also makes the R13 (13inch) that I use. If Acer makes an R15, I know I'll be tempted to check it out as well.

A good laptop for the value of money. touch is very good and speed is fast.

The Laptop Seems To Be Very Good As Per Chrome Os And The touch is also good but track pad is having some issue and system get slow some while coz of processor but over all a very good product for a google user and yes most imp the laptop also include with google play store so one who want to use a play store application can go for the laptop specially for the user who work on google dive and google business

Upgraded my tablet with this to have an integrated keyboard. Now my family has two of this. Very decent battery life and very light weight to carry and use. With the touch screen can be used as a tablet or a laptop.

This Chromebook has been an absolute breeze to work with. I bought this Acer to use as my daily driver for school work mainly and it serves that propose perfectly. As a graduate student I'm constantly writing papers and doing research with 10+ tabs open at a time in a regular basis. The 4gb of ram handles this multitasking smoothly without any hiccups or crashes. Typing on the keyboard feels great; the keys are responsive and are great to work with for hours on end. The screen looks beautiful and is very responsive to touch making it great to work with in tablet mode. Being a bit of a tech geek the tablet mode makes it pretty fun to play with especially with certain apps from the Play store. I'm still exploring all of the apps available and so far all of them work really well on the r11. The app compatibility really makes this an all around great laptop to use for almost every situation. I don't regret purchasing this Chromebook for one moment and I'm glad I picked it up on sale!

Got this to replace my oldest daughter's laptop. It is fast and does everything we needed it to do. Love the touchscreen and the foldability of it. It's light and quick and I will be replacing my younger kids laptops with these in the future.

Love using this computer and is not big, it's just right for travel.

Compact and easy to carry around. Internet browsing is quick and touch screen is crisp and clear. Typical of a Chromebook it is limited in what it can do but for me the pros outweigh this. I am very happy with this purchase.
