Amazing product! prior to this, I was using Anker ($55) and the Hyperdrive ($80) which are still good products on their own, however, I was having difficulty charging my laptop while using the adapter since it didn't fit. It was an inconvenience to constantly remove adapter when I needed to charge my laptop - this adapter comes with the ability to detach it and it works wonderfully. Highly recommend!
