Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the X34 34" IPS LED Curved UW-QHD 21:9 Ultrawide Monitor's high refresh rate, large screen size, and high resolution, finding the picture quality and gaming experience excellent. However, some users noted backlight bleed, a common issue with IPS panels, and the high price point. While most could overclock the refresh rate, some experienced difficulties reaching the maximum 100Hz.

Pros: Size IPS G-sync Only 1 of 2 curved 1440p monitors on the market Cons: The menu buttons are cumbersome and navigation takes some getting used to. Price is high probably because there is only one other monitor (Asus) that shares similar specs.

I will start off by stating the cons : * Pricey * Backlight bleed (Inherent with IPS panels) * Menu is clunky and takes getting use to * You need to have a large table if planning to use the display with the supplied Stand * Has only 1 display port and 1 HDMI port Pros: * Nvidia G-Sync ( a huge plus if you have a Nvidia graphics card) * 100Hz display ( you will notice the difference immediately after over clocking the display to 100Hz) * Beautiful color reproduction * Fast response time * The curve display is a gimic but looks cools * Onboard speakers are adequate if you arent listening to music or playing games for watching youtube/facebook videos they are fine. * The LED strip at the bottom of the display is a nice touch now I can match the display accent lighting to my computers lighting * The 4 usb 3.0 ports on the display are much appreciated you can never have enough usb ports Let me tell you why I chose this display, I knew it was pricey but the 2 most important things to me were G-Sync and 100Hz display because I have an EVGA 1080 FTW graphics card. If you have an AMD card I would suggest you stick to Acer Predator Z35 which is $400 cheaper than this display nvidia is charging a premium for their G-sync technology. The backlight bleed does not bother me, I have been using IPS displays for the last 13 years and not once did I see an IPS monitor without backlight bleed, the backlight bleed one the X34 predator is on an acceptable level...well its much better than the 1st batch of 2015 displays I was lucky enough to get a June 2016 manufactured model. I primarily use the X34 predator for gaming so I dont mind having one displayport and one HDMI port. I also use external speakers for sound and headphones for competitive online gaming so I dont care about the onboard speakers. All in all I am very happy with it except the price if you are thinking of getting it ...get it you wont regret it just make sure you get a may-june 2016 manufactured model because all the issues reported with the monitor have been fixed with the latest iterations of this display.

I came from a 1440p 144hz acer ips monitor to this ultra wide X34 ips monitor and it simply leaves me in awe. This gsync 100hz (easily overclockable in the monitor menu) 21:9 panel provides such a smooth beatiful experience, thats just under 4k specs, that I can never go back to 16:9... or any resolution for that matter. I'm not even interested in 4k anymore... until maybe a true 4k 21:9 100hz ips monitor comes out. I was slightly hesitant to grabbing this monitor due to some well known issues but after a little research, I found that the newer X34A models ironed out. And Best Buy support has verified that these are the models they have available. I received my monitor and have no dead pixels and no unacceptable bleed. There is not much I can comment as to cons simply because this monitor set up flawlessly. Pair this monitor with the new GTX 1080 graphics cards and you'll be in gaming heaven. I didn't think I would see much of an upgrade coming from an already excellent monitor, but can say it has been the greatest upgrade I have had since I started PC gaming.

So I Finally took the dive..

I have been following this monitor since it was a rumor a few years back. Like many who are reading this review, I have always kinda dreamed of owning it, but never could justify the price when there are so many monitors that are less money. Finally I took the dive.. I read several reviews that said you won't care about the price you spent once you set this monitor up. I can now officially agree with those reviews! It's stunning. In fact, even a few days after you get it setup, you will still be stunned. 34 inch 21.9 widescreen @ 2k is really nice. G Sync with 100hz is really, really nice. But the colors? The picture? They are straight up amazing. I cannot believe how beautiful games are on the X34. Its a pure joy to look at! Also, this monitor shows that 2k is perfect for today's games. Everyone thinks they want 4k for gaming. Well, there a few factors that many people forget when they want to jump right into 4k gaming. Super small icons and text are two of them. Sure you can adjust those, but not all of them will adjust and not all games will allow that adjustment. This can be kind of a pain at times. Also, you need some serious power to drive a 4k monitor correctly. This means money. The x34 can be driven nicely by most recent cards. I originally had mine hooked up to a 780ti and it was absolutely fine. I now have it with a 1080 ti and I must say, its almost a bit of overkill. Pros: Beautiful IPS panel, G Sync, 100hz, Best Buy 4yr warranty is $49.99? Easy call there! It's huge! Cons: Clunky menu, It's huge! If you are on the fence, just take the dive and buy this thing. You absolutely will not regret it.

First off! Forget about Virtual Reality unless you have tons of money to blow for a consumer test market. 21:9 aspect ratio is a new breed of gaming, while MOST AAA titles will support this resolution, sadly not all "AAA" title will... Causing the newly owned owner to be doing extra homework just to maneuver and cater to they're monitors needs. I saw this because I've read reviews and this wasn't mentioned Much in most reviews. As the times move forward I believe all AAA titles and developers will support this as standard. 1440x3440 is max resolution. Okay! Why this monitor is the coolest so far your games will just excell at game And you'll become completely invested into the beauty of an- think about this- a total of 30% Additional screen real state! Occording to Blizzard this is considered cheating in their game OVERWATCH which when originally launched supported the resolution 1440x3440 then later patched because they didn't want people cheats- that's fine but you could just implement a force 16:9 server.... I'm not apart of the MLG so please don't hinder my experience for professionals don't use 21:9 lol once this baby get a upgrade to 4k or my gosh, even better 8k technology you won't find a better monitor on the market, period You built a PC with an Nvidia GPU? Perfect! Gsync feature links up beautifully to provide a crisp clear experience! You should see GTA V on max settings with this monitor, blew my mind! Buy this monitor when it goes on sale!

After 10 years of gaming on a Samsung 1080p HDTV, I finally felt the need for an upgrade. This choice though took much time and consideration, between the high pricing and many negative reviews that were borderline horrific; people reporting problems ranging from coil whine, ugly scan lines, back light bleed, to the monitor not reaching 100 hz overclock. After receiving my X34, and testing for aforementioned problems, I am ultimately extremely pleased with this monitor. Does it have back light bleed in the corners? Yes. Is it so bad that you notice at night in the dark while gaming? Not really. While using Brightness 80, Contrast 50 and seated at a 3 foot distance, it looks great. There's five screen presets: Custom, Eco, Standard, Graphic, and Movie. Also four color temps such as; warm, cool, normal, blue light, (and custom). Overclocked to 100 hz with no problems (first thing I tested). This monitor was labeled on the box as being built Dec 2016. Got to say this has been a pleasure to be gaming with, and I am only on week four, (nine years and eleven months to go).

I had my doubts but this monitor certainly turned out to be all it's hyped up to be. Overclocking to 100MHz does the trick on refresh rate and the resolution and aspect make for one tremendous experience. It's price is up there but if you can afford it, there's little to compare on the market.

Don't Have any complaints about this monitor. Everything worked. Overclocked to 100hz without any problems. The IPS panel looks great. The only problem I found was slight backlight bleed on lower left corner of screen, but I have not seen one that didn't have some sort of backlight bleed.

The best quality monitor, for a price you'd expect. I don't approve of people complaining about the price, because you ARE paying for quality. The curve is slight, so it's useable from many viewing angles. I prefer this now. Gsync saved my frames! I can't beleive the difference it makes. Ultrawide 21:9 is unbeatable. Having a smooth single screen solution will always triumph multimonitor setups. Glad they didn't try to make it 2160 pixels high though, that would be way to much for most computers to handle things like gaming and whatnaught. The LEDs under the frame are a perfect way to illuminate my desk. And it's customizable to change brightness and color, although there isn't any full RGB support, just 4 solid settings. Blue green red and white I beleive. Brightness control, and other flashing patterns that noone uses unless they want a seizure. Stand that ships with it is beautiful, simple, but as expected, large. A wall mount solution may be in my future. Overall 10/10. Didn't need the USB port on the back at all, would have preferred to not have that and save a few bucks. My rig this is hooked up to has a Samsung evo 850 SSD, single zotac amp extreme 980ti, and a awesome z97 mobo, so obviously a higher end pc is required to game with this monitor.

I spent a long time considering 4k vs this slightly lower resolution widescreen option, to upgrade from my Samsung 23 inch. I have an GTX 1070 and this monitor had all of the features I was looking for. I couldn't be happier with my monitor choice. It is truly immersive when playing games. I also am experiencing good frame rates, good resolution, and icons in Windows10 are not too small. The only con right now is price, obviously it is still quite expensive, but for me it was worth it.

Was looking for something with higher resolution than 1080p but not too demanding on GPU performance like 4k. This is the best option so far. 21:9 gives more field of view + 3440 x 1440 makes image more sharper and crisp with minimal diagonal jagged effects. I was able to run games at 3440 X 1440 max with 80 to 100 frames off of a single GTX 1080 card with this monitor.

BB lived up to their reputation and price matched Amazon when they put it on sale. I could not have afforded it without decent sale and redemption of award certificates. The monitor I got did not have any dead pixels, backlight bleed not noticeable. What was noticed was an incredible picture. Monitor is mildly curved, comes on immediately and makes for an immersive gaming experience.

This monitor is amazing. Manufacturing date of April 2017, hit 100Hz with no problem, no coil wine, minimal black light bleed and it looks very nice. I purchased a 27inch 144hz 1440p predator last year and this ultrawide is just as impressive for the rpg type games that I play.... and Rocket League

Anyone who has the ability to get this monitor should. Best upgrade I have made since I started gaming. As others have said, you do get some backlight bleed, mine was in upper right corner, but only really visible when displaying really dark areas. Does take up a bit of space on the desktop, make sure you have the space for the monitors base. Overall one of the best upgrades you can do for you PC gaming.

Nice product. Missed the mark a little bit. I run a 1080ti with a i7. The only real disappointment I had was the viewable area doesn't go to the very edge. Its like a 1/4" to 1/2" shy all the way around. Asked for help but the person I spoke with was not helpful. The menu can be challenging also. The plus side is the led lights for indirect lighting is awesome as well as the bluelight adjustment option is also awesome.
