So far I love this monitor! Just got it yesterday, love how it’s adjustable and the image quality is amazing! We’ll see how it does over time but as of now looks like a good buy!

I had bought this monitor near the beginning of December 2019 in hopes of upgrading my PC gaming experiences with something that had a higher refresh rate and better response time than my (at the time) current older 60Hz ASUS monitor. It was also during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale period, so I thought it was a good time to invest. Definitely have to say I'm satisfied with its overall performance. It doesn't feel too hard on the eyes for my longer grind sessions in certain games and the overall improvement to refresh rate was just super phenomenal. The only thing I regret was not picking up a second monitor for the same price at the time, but I will definitely take this one into consideration when grabbing another monitor for my new rig.

I would recommend it if you are looking for an affordable high-quality monitor.

I use it for gaming and productivity work and so far it is very good. The refresh rate is good and the response time is even better. The only thing I wish was better is the viewing angles and color accuracy but since it is a fault of the technology and not the monitor itself I can't blame Acer. I have an IPS panel as a second monitor and the difference in dark colors and overall color accuracy is noticeable. If this is your first 144hz monitor you will not be disappointed. The stand is a bit big and takes up quite a bit of space with the circular design but if you are really bothered by it you can get a monitor stand that fixes to your desk. Overall really happy with it.

Overall its a great monitor and easy to use. The options available are convenient but still need to tinker with it. The back light bleed is extremely noticeable but overall the picture quality is better than I've seen but thats what a TN panel looks like. Performance was outstanding and some of the available options are cool. It has even a target selection option made for cheaters on games which I've never seen before but I can't nor would use that. Just cool that an option like that would be available. Not the best but was still great for the price but I must move on from it and time to move to an alienware on sale and see how that goes. The lighting in my room was just not fit for the bleed I saw constantly. Especially in a load screen. Great starter monitor.

Nice monitor for gaming, watching videos, surfing the internet and doing reports. Crispness of image, color rendition, refresh rate and size make viewing a very enjoyable experience.

I bought this monitor alongside my new PC and they were a perfect match. It has an adjustable height, brightness calibrations for different uses, very easy to use back buttons, and a very pretty design that is actually nice looking, and better than the demo image presented. The 27in. screen is perfect for gaming and work alike, the screen is not too big and my neck never hurts while using it. It is very adjustable and the set up is simple. The instructions for set up are a little hard to follow however so just be ready to do some deciphering while reading set up if you are not familiar with monitor connection. Putting together the actual monitor is very self explanatory and requires no tools if you plan to place it on the provided stand. Another thing I am happy about is that G-Sync actually does work. This monitor is listed FreeSync only, but my MSI VENTUS RTX 2080 SUPER was able to G-Sync withthis monitor. Don't assume every NVIDIA card will be support though. The speakers are serviceable and have adjustable volume and everything. They sound ok and I wasn't expecting super high quality audio anyways. I will say that it makes up for the lack of a headphone jack. Its good for when you are doing work and would rather not have headphones on while watching media. My only complaint with this monitor is that occasionally I see a dead pixel in the same exact spot on the right side of my monitor. It goes away not to long afterwards but I hope it is nothing to worry about. I have seen other people mention about it and someone even has a photo, so if you want to see an example try to find the photo in the reviews. Other than that this is a wonderful monitor that I highly recommend to anyone

Bought this monitor after having a few problems with an LG monitor and I must say this is an amazing monitor with great picture and great features for PC or Xbox. If you know how to set this up properly in the settings you won't have any problems at all. There also is no lag at all from what I see using HDMI 2.1 cords. PC is set to 60hz and Xbox is set to 120hz with freesync. Minor adjustment to make everything pop the way I like it.

If you buy this monitor, make sure to calibrate the monitor. The preset settings are terrible. Here is a link that will give you amazing colors: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/5kop0r/my_acer_xf240h_settings_including_color_settings/ The monitor runs EXTREMELY smooth with the 144hz activated. I cannot go back to an old monitor. I picked this up for $189 at a pre black Friday sale. Amazing deal.

great gift for a gamer. He loved it and was thrilled with quality and size. Not expensive either as we got on sale.

I recently bought this to play with a normal PS4... although the refresh rate and freesync don't really apply in this particular situation, I can still tell a huge difference in quality when compared to my 2008 24" Samsung tv... the main reason for the purchase was to be a little more conducive with a PS5 which I plan on purchasing later this year... we shall see, but still love my purchase!

First off, this is a gaming monitor. The high refresh rate is very nice if you play fast-paced games, like myself. It’s 1080p, which is the standard nowadays, and it’s also big enough that it does not have to be unnecessary close to your face. The screen is also height and tilt adjustable, as well as rotatable, this makes the monitor all-around convenient and customizable for your setup.

Overall picture quality is far superior to what I had and I didn’t even realize what I had was that bad. I like the game modes with selectable and persistent reticule. Downfalls are the fact that the buttons are on the back and not labeled so you’re guessing when you push one. Also, the menu structure is a little clunky...luckily you don’t need to go into them often as most display controls are handled by software. Speakers aren’t great, even my $10 pair of insignia desktop speakers are light years better.

Just an amazing monitor! I got this to be my second monitor along side a 75hz 5ms dell 27 inch and it absolutely came in clutch. I primarily use it to play all my games on while I stream and record! Will never be unhappy that I bought this, although it does take a minute to gain the confidence to drop the money

I recently purchase a gaming computer to start playing games online rather the Xbox I have been using. I picked this monitor to pair with my new gaming computer and haven’t stopped enjoying since day 1. The colors are great and FPS is phenomenal!! I have been surprised with the performance considering it was at a sale price!

All you need to know if you want color go to the setting on the monitor and change them if you don't you will be unsatisfied so please make that change if you're considering playing on console same on pc just look into the settings and find the best fit for your need and color depth trust me this is worth the money. Absolutley loved it.

I had just bought a new desktop (the HP Obelisk Desktop PC - 875-0014) and I needed a monitor to really take advantage of it. The size is perfect for my desk and the clarity is incredible. I haven't played a game on it yet, but so far, I really like it. I bought it for the size, refresh rate and low response time. It has been really good so far.

This Acer 27" monitor works well behind my laptop upon my office desk; it's adjustable height provides a good angle for viewing from one screen to the other. The price was fair as this was reduced by about $100.00 at the time of purchase. I would recommend it and it's quality is that of one twice the price, in my opinion.
