Poor return policy

I had multiple new components so it took some time to identify this as the problem. Had to go through Adata to get it replaced which took some time and a little extra money, but eventually I got a new one and so far it has been working great.

This was one of those 8% and it showed corruption when cloning and ran very hot. In 3 hours of running time it died completely. As it was 2 sided chips I opted for a refund since it was for a thin laptop. Best buy was great as usual.

When cloning an existing OS to a brand new SSD you want to make sure that the primary drive that you are trying to clone does not have any bad sectors. Based on the information you have provided, there might have been a failed sector on your primary drive that caused the cloning process to fail. Similarly, if you are using an external SSD enclosure to copy your files, you may have been using a plastic enclosure that cannot handle the transfer rates causing the SSD to heat up. Please purchase a quality Aluminum external enclosure made with proper heat dissipation to adequately transfer and protect your files.
