I got this for my new laptop. During speed test, read speed was actually faster than it advertised but write speed was slower. Fastest real-life speed I have seen was around 1.5GB/s so far when I moved over 13GB file under 10 seconds from another NVMe PCIe 3.0 drive. It could’ve been faster if I just copied. No issues so far and does seem to get little warm when it’s being constantly used, like speed test. It does have heat shield sticker and I don’t think heat will be a major issue for any conventional use. I’m using most of it to store my game data and large data I need it for work.. It was one of the best deals for 2TB drive with advertised speed of 3500MB/s read speed when I made the purchase.

Superfast file transfer, and excellent for gigh performance computing

Bought this for my Omen 17 laptop that came with only a 256GB drive. The price for this drive is very nice compared to the big brands. While it might not be as fast as some of those, this drive performs great and with 2TB, I can store a lot of stuff. Very happy with it.

This is one of Best Buy's greatest Deals. Pros: Extremely fast, Lightning Speed, and Low Price Con: Quad-Level Cell (QLC) SSD. QLC NVMe drive only has a 100 TBW rating on the 500 GB model, and only 200 TBW on the 1 TB.

This drive is excellent and very fast/reliable. Best Buy is trash when it comes to getting this drive to my door undamaged. I spend 1.5 months trying to get one to my door uncrushed. Had to drive the 3 damaged drives up to Best Buy over 11 miles away one-way. The last 2 I specifically requested them put them in a hard box instead of shipping it in a blister envelope that arrives crushed beyond repair everytime. I was nice and professional but the personnel on the best buy reddit were trash "human beings" that blamed me for every facet of this failure. Name calling and cursing were let loose upon me but I am an adult afterall so it wasn't that bad. Still, you guys should grow up a little. It's possible to make mistakes and still be a viable member of society afterwards. I do it all the time. Go pick your item up in-store. Don't. Do. It. Any. Other. Way.

PROS: -This TLC memory. -The drive looks good if placing in a display PC build. -Very fast in typical workloads. -It does not require direct airflow and does not get too hot. CONS: -If you are transferring large sets of data often, you will probably want a a different NVME. Once the cache is saturated the drive will slow down. -The more you fill the drive, the slower the speeds get. This is typical, but worth mentioning. This a really good drive for the price. I have no regrets and the drive lives up to the manufacturers claims.

Works great and I get the speeds I want. Was very simple to install however I wish it came with the mounting screw, but Microcenter came in clutch and gave me one for free

Replaced a 1TB 970 evo plus and it performs very well. Multiple big name titles boot up at amazing speeds, and load times are a snap of a finger.

Finally arrived. Replace my 512 GB NVME with this killer 2 TB NVME on my Alienware 17 for my O/S. Now I don't have to worry about running out of space soon. All my games and movies stored on a secondary 4 TB SSD. Now I'm a happy gamer. Best time to buy is Black Friday, really great deals.

I just installed it on my new build. I moved and 29gig game from a sata ssd to this in 1:10 I'm impressed. Its not complicated to install just had to figure out if to use the m.2 pad and the stand off or not. Just right click windows and configure disk. Having a dram drive is great!

I bought this to migrate Windows 10 Pro from a 6 GBps SATA SSD and it was flawless (used True Image). If you're doing the same, just remember to disconnect the source drive before booting to this one (Windows doesn't like having multiple boot partitions available).

Excellent NVME drive. Doesn’t get bogged down when filled up like other cheaper brands. Placed in my Alienware M15 R3 and worked perfectly. Much cheaper than buying thru Dell, and Top Quality. Highly Recommend!!!

I was not able to use this item. When searching for a Mac Pro solid state drive this is what came up. I purchased it and found to my dismay that it was too small to fit into the Mac Pro. They do sell an adapter but I decided that it wasn’t going to use it. So I never got to test out the quality or speed of the item. I will say that it is a bit pricey.

Very fast, super easy install and Best Buy had a much better price than Amazon, plus I got Best Buy Rewards that Amazon didn't provide.
