I needed my new stacking system installed into a new build 'laundry closet'. It was a tight fit but I did furnish measurements and photos of space. BB does not carry side venting kit so I had to order from manufacturer. Turns out it was too complicated for BB to install and I had to call an independent contractor to finish install and all it took was a more flexible version of venting tube.

Intallation was done right and we were told what was needed.

Clint and Caleb are the fantastic duo that came to my rescue. I was just about having a panic attack after the 3rd party hired by BB claimed they couldn't do the install and had left. These 2 show up to haul away my old appliances and saw that the new ones had not been installed. They took a look at it and said, we can do that! This had been the 2nd time I had taken off of work to get this done and the 3rd time BB had come to install. It took patience and ingenuity to get the job done and these guys did it with a calmness and grace that is hard to find today. They are a stellar model for Geek Squad and should be awarded!!

When purchasing the washer and dryer, the salesman didn't told the dryer would take more room than the dimension showed on the flyer due to the vent. And after initial installation, I cannot close the closet door and I have to spend another $200 for the side vent change. The scheduled time for team who helped to install the side vent is 8 am - 12 pm, which is a pretty long time frame. And at 11:30 I received a call saying they would be late for about 1 hour, which pushed it to about 12:30 pm. However, they missed the appointment again. They finally arrived at 1:40 pm. Instead of having a half day off as planed, I had to call my manager during the day asking for a whole day off. What's more, they called me 5 mins before arrival and then I came down to pick them up right after. However, they saw me and asked me to wait a min. I stood in the lobby and waited them for 10 mins sitting in the truck before coming in. The technician just kept talking over the phone after finally entering the building. The installation itself was successfully, which solved the problem.

Does as advertised easy installation and good quality

Best Buy subcontracred dryer side vent installation. Definitely some miscommunication along the way. It took several calls and three trips out till I got the right company to do the job right

This add-on dryer side vent made the difference between us being able to buy the LG Wash Tower or not! The installation was excellent and it works perfectly!

Whole washer and dryer install failed, and Best Buy is delaying it's response and trying to blame the manufacturer. Meanwhile, our floor and rugs are damaged. In fact, I had to fight to just even talk to a live human.

You people are the worst in service. I have been trying to get my washer/dryer unit installed with the side vent, but never could get a proper scheduling done. It is still not scheduled, but you show that the installation is complete. It is a long and frustrating story. I hope yo will install the side vent on april 15th, as promised but I do not see it scheduled!

Side vent installation was done very well. Additional advise given on how to maintain the vent.

Julio and his assistant Fernando were very polite and personable. Julio was very knowledgeable on how to side vent this dryer. He took care in doing so including cutting and securing the metal expandable vent pipe to fit exactly. He did an excellent job! Thank you!

The installation work was done quickly; at least, once the correct dryer vent was obtained and a second appointment was scheduled.

The dryer side venting kit worked as designed. Without it would have been impossible to install our new washer/dryer. As present, the machine is exceeding expectations. The key is to ask important questions regarding installation before making the purchase.

The dryer side vent installer, Gilbert Minja, was excellent. Very pleasant, very knowledgable, very efficient and quick with the job. He even added the steam water hook-up and balanced the washer and dryer. He was a pleasure to work with.

The side vent allowed me to purchase the dryer of my choice without downsizing to meet space availability.
