The guys who came out and install my refrigerator over excellent after viewing how it was going to go we decided that we need any change the door so I was credited the amount for changing the door they did excellent job

Our LG fridge arrived with the door swinging open on the wrong side for our kitchen. They said we could schedule for a guy to come back and re-hang the door to open the other way, at no charge. We scheduled that, and the door was quickly re-hung, but we did have to pay on the spot. We brought it to Best Buy's attention and were given a certificate (in the amount we paid) to use in-store. I took off one star for that issue, but the installation itself was fine, 5 stars.

Several good features compared to my old refrigerator. Takes up less space. Does not have "handles" which used to loosen up frequently on my old one. Very quiet. A couple of negatives. If you are used to a side-by-side with bottom freezer, you will have to get used to bending over a little bit for lower shelves and bins. Since it is fairly deep, sometimes hard to reach items in rear portions of shelves. The finish goes really well with my kitchen, but it does show fingerprints.

Refrigerator door was reversed without damage. Installers were professional.

Love the frig. The sales person was so helpful and truly knew what he was talking about. We also purchased a phone and in order to buy it we had to cancel the first sale, add it with the refrig and it went so smoothly we were surprised. The service was amazing.

Needed 33" Stainless Refrigerator for a nice tenant. Good looking appliance, checked all the boxes but tenant just moved in, so we don't know how it's going to be long run. Delivery people refused to switch handles, I contacted Best Buy Customer Service, who sent them back. Second time they missed installing a washer, called Customer Service again, sent them back out. Best Buy's Customer Service was AWESOME, I will buy from them again because of how well I was treated, although I hope I don't get the same delivery people!

The delivery man were not told they had to change my door over. I had to tell them and then they had to look it up. They did not have all the tools they needed, so they use some of mine. But they were very careful with the doors and it works just fine.

Do it! Worth the money for the convenience. Access to items in the refrig/freezer, much easier when preparing for a meal!

11/12/20 wrong refrig. was delivered. 11/18/20 temporary was delivered. I decided to keep this on 12/10/20, with door switch hinge on 12/21/20 to discover chipped finish. 01/04/21 look see confirm damage on both doors; 01/08/21 new refrig. was worse; 1/15/21 brought replacement - decided to do doors only. All delivery men were polite. I question the 6 hr. arrival schedule, with only 2 email closer times when I am not on the computer!!! x 7 = a lot of wasted time for me. Phone contact sales no go, during shut down.

Great job reversing the door on a fridge we ordered for delivery. Glad that we did not need to attempt this ourselves!

Sorry to say, the first team of guys that attempted to change the simple refrigerator door swing were very rough with their power tools and the appliance parts as they rushed to do the work. The power tools they used stripped several of the screw heads during the swap, and the top freezer door ended up functioning with a load snapping noise that made everyone jump every time the door was opened & closed. I wish that Best Buy would had followed my original request to have the door swings changed out before delivery, and maybe they could have fixed the problem beforehand. However the next gentlemen Bob' that came to help figure out the problem, worked carefully with me using hand tools to determine the cause and effect in the situation. We determined that the interchangeable parts were not so interchangeable and were causing the malfunctioning loud snapping noise. As I had originally suggested to the appointment setter to provide replacement parts with the next repair person, whom now concurred in this appointment visit that maybe a replace set of parts might help fix the problem. Although when he came back again with the replacement parts it turned out not to remove the loud snapping noise. I showed him some ideas I had been researching to remove the problem and we created what may only be a temporary fix, and I thanked Bob for doing his best working with what he had available. I came up with some other part modification ideas that may help when the problem comes back, and I will be careful, like 'Bob', to only use hand tools so as not to cause any further damage to the screw heads. Afterwards I remembered that 'Bob' had also come out to work on a TV warranty repair a few years earlier, and was so very helpful and careful back then. So ask for Bob if you need a good Best Buy technician.

Tok a while to get this one job completed by the delivery person but Geek squad stepped in and resolved all issues

The fridge works well. However, the quality of the plastic bins are poor and break easily

The installation guys did a nice job of switching the door so it would open from the right instead of the left. However, they did not level the refrigerator so the door would self close. I had to hire a handyman to come out to make that adjustment.

Great service, the delivery team did a great job.it was with the extra money to have them change the door. Thank you very much.

I'm glad I added this on because, from watching the guys do the switch and seeing how long it took them, I don't think I could have done it myself -- lack of experience and proper tools. That said, I was very disappointed that it was not an automatic option when purchasing the fridge online. I had to contact Customer Service to have it added on.

Installers missed plugs f holes for door reversal!

I would say the delivery men did not instill confidence in me in their reversal of the door. They figured it out, I think, because they had to and because they were brilliant immigrants --and they knew little English -- but it would have been nice had they had more training before tearing apart my appliance.

We just had to refuse the delivery of a refrigerator we purchased from Best Buy. We paid extra to have an “expert” switch the door hinge to open from the opposite side of the way the manufacturer delivers it. They obviously don’t know how to do it without some sort of damage being done to the door. They dented our last refrigerator door but it was during COVID so we just kept it. We just ordered a new one which was delivered and while they were attempting to change the door hinge they didn’t have the right tools and damaged the plastic plugs that cover the holes by breaking them off. Then using a drill to make holes. Which means the opposite side would not have plugs just open holes. But as they were finishing that a breeze came up and blew the refrigerator door over onto the street denting and scratching it so bad I had to refuse delivery. This is the second time the delivery service damaged my refrigerator. I paid extra for the “experts” to change the door. So beware. Don’t count on a smooth install if you want your door to open any other way than the way it’s delivered. I’m going to hire an expert the next time.

The guys did a great job moving the door to open on the other side. Friendly and quick service.
