Good release of a great tv show

It's not available on blu-ray yet, but the picture and audio quality of this dvd release is very good for a standard-definition release. The biggest drawback: the double-sided dvds are prone to scratching and collecting dust on the exposed side. The studio couldn't spend a few extra cents and release only single-sided discs?
