The earbuds are small and comfortable, and come with 3 different tip sizes. The case and earbuds can be difficult to grasp due to the texture of the material. The case does have 3 ridges on each end to add to the grip, but if you grip from the sides it's a bit slippery. The earbuds are very narrow, so if you have big fingers you may have an issue removing them from the case. The case seems sturdy and can be charged by USB-C or a wireless pad, and the BT pairing button is built into the case. There's a stated 4.5 hour battery life, and 15+ hours additional charging through the case. The earbuds have a companion app to tweak settings, and with the ANC and the pass through Awareness mode off I wore them almost 6 hours without having to re-charge. You an use them both at the same time, or the left or right independently. The earbuds are IPX5 sweat and water resistant. You can get about 1 hour of battery life out of a 15 minute charge, and it takes about 3 hours for a full charge via the charging case. Overall they're very comfortable with a good selection of features and great sound!

    Awesome Headphones!

I am a headphone junkie and honestly have too many, but I just can’t help myself. I work out a lot and great headphones really make the process so much more enjoyable. So, when I saw these Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC’s I was pretty excited to get my hands on them. I have a pair of Adidas RPT-01 on ear I got back in 2019 and absolutely love them. The Adidas Z.N.E 01 did not disappoint and brings a great ANC in-earphone to Adidas’ line. I like to use the RPT-01 on windy days running outside because they keep the wind noise out very well compared to other in-ear phones I have, but I discovered that the Z.N.E. 01 with the ANC kept the wind noise out just as well. That is a really big deal for me because I run outside a lot and the wind noise on my other in-ear non ANC earphones cannot cut it out! Wind noise sucks for music but also makes podcasts almost unlistenable for me (maybe I am just weird but that really drives me nuts). Back to the beginning though, I opened up the Z.N.E -01 box and they come in a small cardboard box and they are wrapped in tissue. It was easy to retrieve and less plastic packaging (more sustainable I guess). I thought that was a strange way to package it but after some reflection, If it was packaged that way on purpose to be more ecofriendly . Bravo Adidas! The actual case they come is a flat composite durable feeling case that has texture on the sides to make it easy to manipulate, even with sweaty hand. Nice touch. They look cool and sporty and are very light weight. They fit into a gym bag or pocket nicely. The lid has a nice flip and stays closed when you want it to and open when you need it. The speaker pods themselves are perfectly form fitted and also very light weight. I really like the light weight because my bags are packed. Lighter the better but you still get incredible battery life with these! I pulled the speaker pods out and first off they look sharp. Cool stem with the Adidas logo markers on them. Very distinct. They match the case well. I picked my silicone ear tip size and easily placed them snug into each ear. Note: Picking the right silicone ear type is critical. Try each one to see which feels best. Too small a tip will really cut into the bass and the ANC and too large may hurt your ears after an hour or so. Since I use them for about an hour or so at a time I always go for the largest size to really help with bass and ANC. I had the Adidas app from the RPT-01 I got in 2019 and paired the phones with my iPhone then the app as well. The app is sleek and simple to use and lets you change sound profiles and turn off the ANC. You can also do that from the actual speaker pods themselves. They come with a quick start guide to get you going quickly. After picking the right tips I was off to get a work out in. The next major hurtle for my earphones is will they stay in during a workout and an 8-minute mile run. The Z.N.E. 01 ANC stayed in perfectly! The SOUND? They sounded amazing! Deep bass and great mid and high tones. The ANC was pronounced and really took me into the music and not focused on the discomfort of the workout! That’s what I need them to do for me and they were awesome. In the app it was cool to try the different sound profiles to hear how they changed the music. They are IPX5 water resistant, so for context IPX1 protects from dripping sweat, IPX3 protects you from sprayed water from like a water bottle. IPX5 protects from water projected from a nozzle like running them under a water faucet in a sink. You cannot submerge them though (that would be IPX7). I would only clean with a damp cloth but it’s nice to know heavy sweat will not damage them! (I got the IPX stuff from the web so take that for what it’s worth.) They also say they run for 4.5 hours on a charge and with the case you can charge 15.5 hours before needed to re charge the case. Very cool. And lastly phone calls sounded great on them from both sides!! Overall, I really love these headphones! Well built! Sound Amazing! Easy to store and transport! Adidas is really crossing the finish line in first with these!

I’ve been using these earbuds for the past 4 days and I can honestly say that I am pleasantly surprised with these Adidas noise cancelling ear buds. They come wrapped in a nice soft tissue paper inside the box. The charging pod has an excellent grippy matte black texturized feel. It looks and feels like it will resist scratches and pocket lint for a while. It is rugged and I don’t see the need to put them into a carry case. It is charged by an included usb C cable. Battery life is excellent. I’ve only had to charge them once since I took them out of the box. The pod will charge the earbuds when you stow them. Sound quality is very good, better than I was expecting. Bass is punchy without drowning out highs and mids. I listen to a very wide variety of music and everything sounds good. I did have to use the largest rubber tips that came in the box to completely seal my ear canals and provide better sound isolation and punchier bass. Your use may vary but if you find the bass lacking and some outside noise coming in, I would suggest swapping the tips to the ones that seal your ear canals snuggly. Overall build quality is excellent. They are sweat / water resistant. I wouldn’t jump into a swimming pool with them on, but you don’t have to worry about sweating on them or using them in the rain. The active noise cancelling is great. Not the best I’ve tried but it is good enough to block out most ambient noise. I have a loud window A/C unit and I can’t hear it while I’m listening to music even at lower volumes. I can hear it when the music stops but it isn’t too loud. I do appreciate that the noise cancelling doesn’t make my ears feel full, like they need to pop. I don’t like to talk on the phone with earbuds that have noise cancelling because I feel like I am shouting, so I won’t comment much on microphone / call quality. Would I recommend these to a friend? If you’re willing to try a brand other than the usual big names in headphones, I think you’ll be just as pleased and surprised as I have been with these. These are great for the gym, they sound great, stylish and are comfortable for long sessions and feel like they will survive a beating. Pros : Premium Build Quality Very good sound quality Decent Active noise cancellation No connection issues Long battery life Comfortable Touch controls Cons : honestly No complaints from me

adidas - Z.N.E. 01 ANC Got these headphones and was excited about the prospects. The headphones came in a secure package. (Well Done) The headphones are stored in a nice compact charging container. Pairing them was quite easy. Comfort level when placed in the ear is good not great. The most important aspect of headphones of course is the sound. I played some classic rock music first from the source - My iPhone Max Pro. The sound was good but something was missing. I then tried my Dell XPS17 and found that the sound improved. That made sense because the XPS has a decent sound card within. But, there was something still missing. So, I decided to listen to the same songs on my Airpods and I clearly heard the difference. The Airpods was heard loud and clear. The Adidas headphones clearly was lacking when it came to the base portion and with rock music it is noticeable. I will say even without the bass the sound was fine. There are times when I don't want bass overload and these headphones do the trick while still sounding pretty good. The tap controls on the headphones seem to be well thought out but they didn't always seem to work. Occasionally one of the headphones would drop off. I tried to use the Headphone app to see if I could get a little bass but unfortunately I could not get the app to work with the headphones. The documentation included and the pdf file on the website were a little helpful but not enough to help me with the sound. So, I think the headphones have some value. If I can get the headphones to connect to the iPhone app that would add even more value. It would be nice to see the tap commands be more stable. Based on what I know at this time, I would be at middle ground as far as a recommendation. I would hope there might be updates that would improve the sound and getting the app to connect would be a big help. I'll use them with hope that with a little more research they will improve my satisfaction level.

I honestly feel that these headphones compete with the big name brands. They have all of the same features of any high end brand such as wireless charging, active noise canceling, and its own app for customization. You setup the earbuds by downloading the app then discovering and syncing. Very easy and standard. The case is a nice size, pretty much the same size as EarPods pro. The buds are a good size and fit naturally in the ear. I had no discomfort. I started playing Spotify and was immediately impressed. The sound was crystal clear and well balanced. I was very surprised as to how good the sound was. The active noise cancelation also works very well. The mode that lets in ambient sound is not that great. It is pretty much the same as having ANC off. I have listened to many types of music and played around with the equalizer and the sound has been spot on. The earbuds last for several hours before needing to be charged. The case provides about three additional charges. The fact that the case wireless charges is icing on the cake. The app is pretty good and is pretty basic and easy to use. It let's you add new devices, adjust the equalizer, change noise cancelation, and manage touch controls. It also shows you the battery level. Overall i think that these earbuds are extremely well made and perform very well. They are a great alternative for some of the same old earbuds that have been around for years. I highly recommend!

I received these Adidas - Z.N.E. 01 ANC and was very impressed w/ how the earbuds are packaged. Adidas does an awesome job, as I am a stickler in how a product is packaged. These are very well protected. I love the feel of these earbuds, I sweat profusely when I work out and most, (not all) earbuds have a “slick texture” that I am forever dropping them as I try to wipe the sweat away, not these, the coating is not tacky by any means, but they just feel differently and make putting them into you ears and keeping them there are so much easier. The sound is amazing, I downloaded the App, and w/ in seconds I had them paired to my iPhone 12 and in my ear. The fit of these in my ears is pleasantly comfortable. I charged them overnight, and the next day went on 15 mile stationary bike ride. I have a problem w/ ear fatigue when I wear earbuds, that’s why I am more partial to over the ear headphones. But w/ these Adidas Z.N.E. 01 I experienced no ear fatigue. They stayed put in my ear for the entire ride. They come w/ 3 sets of foam ear inserts, and I use a medium in one ear and a large in the other, and they sound is amazing and clear. If you are looking for a really well made and exceptional sound earbud, look no further than these adidas.

Quick Review -------------------- The adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC had a balanced sound and almost very comparable to the Jabra 75t or 85t. The noise cancelling is also comparable to the Jabra 85t and almost no different from it. The earbuds are very well built and looks very rugged. It Is IPV5 rated and it can withstand some good heavy rain. Battery life is a tad lower than the Jabra's at 20 Hrs. total (15.5 + 4.5 play time). Overall - wait for the price to a tad lower to buy. Pros ------ 1. Excellent build quality and it has the nice 3 stripes says adidas 2. Built in AMC - decent 3. IPV5 rated 4. Excellent bass and crisp highs 5. App for customizing sound. Cons ------- 1. Battery life could be better (20 hrs. total) Build Quality & Setup --------------------------- Build quality is great and it looks premium. The three stripes on the buds actually stand out and matches your attire when you work out. The case has a nice rubberized feel. Pairing is a breeze with your phone and you can install the adidas headphones app to customize the sound. Sound and Call ------------------- The headphones has good amount of bass and decent Treble and the sound is very well balanced. I could not tell the difference between this one and the Jabra 75t in terms of sound quality when listening to Spotify. I used the headphones for some zoom calls and the other side could hear me well I also was able to match the playtime close enough. I think it’s a great headphones, I wish the price was a bit lower..

    Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC disappoints

Everyone’s getting into the so-called “true wireless” earbud space, and now, it’s Adidas’ turn at the trough. Claims to fame on these include switchable ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), charging case with USB-C connectivity and wireless charging through the case, 4.5 hours with ANC on and 5 hours without ANC, situational awareness with Awareness Mode, easy pairing with ONE device at a time, iOS and Android app for full potential, EQ settings (fixed), touch-sensitive operation, and more. **WHAT’S IN THE BOX** • Adidas Z.N.E. 01 Sport True Wireless buds with case, three sets of comfort ear inserts, short USB-C charging cable • Documentation **THE SETUP** Open the box, unwrap, download iOS and/or Android app, follow pairing instructions. Set up app for use and become familiar with settings, become familiar with touch controls on the buds. And now, it’s time to . . . **PUT IT TO THE TEST** The three sizes sets of silicone ear tips should offer all-day comfort for most users. This tester found that the smaller tips worked best and created a snug, comfortable fit for all day wear. Unlike some other premium buds, these do not offer a test through the app for gauging how well they fit without sound bleed. Too bad. That would have been nice. Plenty of volume. Phone call sound was acceptable, not exemplary. Used the app to set different EQ levels. This is where it was discovered that all options are fixed according to the area of interest selected. These include ADIDAS with flat response, ROCK, POP, HIP HOP, ELECTRONIC, and VOCAL BOOST. It was disappointing that the maker has decided what the user would want. It is hoped that future app and firmware updates will correct this omission. This is not to suggest that running through the settings with various content choices and on phone calls produced unsatisfactory results. However, why not allow the user to make these choices? It was discovered that the Adidas buds can be used with only ONE device at a time. For example, one may wish to simultaneously connect with a mobile phone and computer or tablet. Why not? This is a feature common to comparable buds in the price class, so it is disappointing to learn that Adidas has not enabled this feature on their premium buds. Calls were completed with the sound assessed by outsiders as not the best they’ve heard from other premium earbuds used by this tester. ANC was assessed by this reviewer as about 70% effective. This is to say that the onboard ANC circuitry seemed about 70% effective at blocking annoying background noise. For this test traffic sounds were played at maximum volume through computer monitor speakers with no other noise interference introduced. Use-per-charge was another area of at least mild disappointment for a true wireless earbud set in this class. Others easily achieve 6 hours on a charge. These offer up to a total of 20 hours of playtime when combined with charging in the case. These allow use with a single bud to extend use per charge, though without stereo and effective ANC. For phone calls that lack background interference or for podcast listening, this setup will work well. With their IPX5 sweatproof and water resistant rating, these buds are ideal for exercising and outdoor use in mild rain. **CONCLUSION** Let’s talk about value. After all, isn’t that the most important takeaway from any purchase? Does the consumer feel a sense of having received one’s money’s worth? Not so much. Despite the many positive attributes of these Adidas earbuds, they are not recommended solely because there are others in this class that do better all around. If and when the manufacturer updates firmware and software to correct the deficits listed above, they might be a better buy. **WARRANTY** One year manufacturer’s warranty

I am proud to be an owner of these headphones as they are the official outfitter of the University of Miami and it just goes with the rest of my workout outfits. I love the earbuds that come with it and they're able to size change out between a little smaller and a little bigger. I was nervous right at first taking them out of the box. The charging cable is very short and so wherever you put them make sure it's got some room to dangle around. If you have a charging pad be sure to take care of it. I have a very old charging pad and the headphones charge just fine. Seem to take a little while. The USB C short cable was pretty good too, but it's USB B. On the plug side and see on the headphones side. There's a little button in the front that glows that's not just the Adidas symbol and I have no idea what it does but it looks cool. Pairing was super easy and took no time at all. If you've ever had Google buds, the tap functions are just the same one. Tap to pause, two tabs to next track and three taps back to previous track when listening to music. Phone call quality seem to be okay but I haven't tested it outside. All in all, very worthy purchase.

Adidas - Z.N.E. 01 ANC headphones are good for what they are, The ANC is great at this price point and they also allow you to listen to your surroundings. The sound is clear once they are correctly in the ear but my gripe again is the lack of bass that some of these earbuds have. long story short they are good for your long day out. They come in a nice-looking Adidas case that has a texture to them; The logo is the Bluetooth pairing button so if you just want to pair without an app that is the way quickly. at the bottom of the case is a USB-C charging port. There is an indicator light on the front of the case to let you know its charging level of it. The headphones char extremely fast and about 30 mins to full charge out of the box. Opening up the pod case they automatically connect to my iPhone once set up with BT. The earbuds' design while cool looking I'm not a fan of as they don't hold in my ear too well out of the box. Black and stripped lines go hand and hand with Adidas' logo but they just don't feel well with the default ear tips. 4 come in the box for resizing which I did to fit my ear better. I'm also not too much of a fan of the "Touch" controls of the tips but the app allows you to turn them off if you find it annoying. Sometimes my figures would interfere with the music on the buds so I just turned them off. Speaking of the "Adidas" headphone app; There are a good amount of features that allow you to turn ANC on or off and awareness mode. You can also set some equalizers. The sound is good I would say given the brand, there is a thing much I can be disappointed here with. as I stated before once properly in the ear they sound fantastic giving a full and rich sound. Watching media was nice with these headphones as well. Bass is ok for what it is but doesn't expect too much from these. They are sports earbuds as they don't fall out while walking as long as I'm not going too extreme with head movements. Battery life held up for days as I went a full week without a charge. Overall; I like these earbuds and Z.N.E. 01 is great for a day out. Around the city or the park, they are handy to have around. Especially when it came to battery life. The sound is fine, the setup is easy, they charge pretty fast, and the app is really good.

Alright I was excited to get these ear buds to review not only because I am a tech junkie but also love Adidas gear. These earbuds have active noise canceling which help block outside noise while listening to music and also have an awareness mode which lets in outside noise so you are aware of your surroundings. Both modes work as advertised. Battery is rated for 20 hours of total play time depending on what mode is being used. There is also an Eco charge mode which charges the batteries up to 80% to prolong the life of the battery which I think is a great option to keep your product working longer. Now let’s talk about the charging carrying case. It looks great and is really light weight. I hardly notice it while it is in my pocket. It has an Adidas logo on the front of the case you can press to sync with your phone. They do also provide you with the worlds shortest USB-C charging cable which I thought could be a little bit longer so it doesn’t hang from my out let when charging. Also included are three sets of ear tips. Which leads me to fitment. The tips already installed were the perfect fit for me. I have to say I have about 5-6 other pairs of brand name in ear buds and the Adidas ZNE are the best fit for me hands down. That alone has made these my new daily drivers. Totally comfortable while running/exercising and they stay put. I can have them in a long time without constantly adjusting them or getting irritated. Next is the sound. These do sound great and with the app you can adjust preset equalizer settings like hip hop, Rock, electronic. The app does have an edit option to adjust EQ settings but I don’t see where I can adjust any settings when I try the option. Maybe this can be updated in the app in a future update as I do like to customize my own sound experience also the preset ones are pretty good already.

Great sounding ear buds with noise cancellation

These are some great noise cancelling ear buds that are super light and fit/hold in well with the ear tips that they have. They have a USB-C charging port which makes it easy to charge them as most phones use USB-C now. In terms of how they sound, they're great and the noise cancelling seems to work really well too. The only thing that I'm not happy with them on are the touch controls. They are super sensitive to touch and it's easy to accidentally touch them. Several times I've hung up on people just trying to answer the phone with them and there's really no way to customize or change the touch feature so it's not so sensitive. Outside of that I am happy with their performance, the bass sounds solid and the mids/highs sound natural and clean. Battery life is excellent and I was able to go all day using them with no charge outside of a few minutes in the case when I was on lunch break. Pairing them was easy and it prompts you to download an optional app that is used to turn the anc on/off and adjust some other settings as well as updating them. In terms of comparison I would say they are as good as other similar ones and to me seemed lighter like they weren't even there. I'd recommend these even with the touch issue where it might just be me and because outside that they are great and are perfect to wear working and when working out.

    Enjoyable Sound Signature and Comfort

Before I saw these earbuds I didn't know that ADIDAS even offered headphones, so imagine my surprise when I found out that they actually sound good too. For sound quality I was pleasantly surprised. The Z.N.E. 01 earbuds have a pleasant bass emphasized sound signature with good impact and minimal bloat. Vocals are clear but slightly recessed and the sound stage is wider than I was expecting and presents just outside my ear canal. These buds are very easy to listen to and do not cause me any fatigue. Feature wise the ANC is pretty good and is more than adequate for blocking out most ambient noise, especially when music is playing. The pass-through feature is pretty convenient and sound location is accurate but I do notice that it does not seem to amplify your own voice so you sound muffled while everything else is clear. Fit and build quality are also great. I enjoy the texture of the case as it's easy to grip even with sweaty hands and won't be prone to show scratches from being tossed in a backpack or gym bag. Fit was great for me and the buds sit comfortably fully inserted in my ear but due to the size of the casing it may not be as comfortable for people with smaller ears. My only complaints have to do with the app and a power management quirk. The app is fine to use and is laid out well for functionality but it does have issue with connectivity. On more than one occasion I was listening to the earbuds and trying to test the EQ presets and the app would say that they were not connected despite the fact that I was actively listening to them. An app reboot would normally resolve the problem but it is still a weird issue. I also encountered a quirk where, if the case battery was completely dead the earbuds would not turn on and connect even if the buds themselves had ample charge. This isn't likely to be a regular problem but seemed odd when it happened. In the end I am happy with these and will keep them around for times I don't want to use over ear headphones.

I really want to love these earbuds, but there are a few things that can be improved in my opinion. I will start with what I did like. If you follow the directions properly (unlike I did at first) it is really easy to connect to a device. Hold the button til it changes color and it should pop up on your bluetooth devices. Super easy to connect to any device. The sound quality is excellent! It can get really loud and the bass is decent. I love that the sound is clear and loud. The earbuds charged fairly quickly and have lasted me a few days with on/off use. The case feels like high-quality styrofoam, which is different, but nice. The reason I rated it 4 stars is because the earbuds are not very comfortable for long time wear. After about 2 hours, my ears started hurting and it felt a little heavy. I would think a sports brand earbud would be more lightweight so you can wear it for longer periods of time during workouts. I think if they could improve that aspect of the earbuds, that would be great! Another thing, I have wireless charging pad and these charge on the wireless pad perfectly. That's nice bonus. Just pop it on while using it and let the case charge.

In terms of quality and sound, these rank among favs in my history of Bluetooth headphones. The bass is punchy and the voices are crisp. Whatever music type I've played thus far has sounded vibrant and full. The ANC noise cancellation works extremely when you can get it to operate(will touch on that later). The headphones themselves have a great build quality. They've taken plenty of bumps thus far with no markings present on either the case or the actual headphones. There are three areas where I worry about these types of headphones. The main is the fit and staying in place. Both here are present. Running, lifting, boxing, etc. I've only had a handful of "pop outs." But for the most part, whatever the activity, they stay comfortable and in place. The second is the touch sensitivity. Like many others, the same problem persists, it can often be too sensitive. If I'm wearing a hoodie, and it the sweating starts, the shifting of the hood or collar will activate the headphones' functions. Pause and play being the main. It not major, but it does break up the continuity from time to time. Which brings up the third possible issue. With other ANC headphones I've possessed, it's always the same problem. Some strange unseen condition will cause the music to skip, stop, "jerk" and bounce back and forth between earpieces. While it happens less here, it still happens. The latter two above are part of not giving these 5 stars. The other is the app. The first time I connected to the headphones, I used the app. It was terrible. Dropouts every few minutes if I my phone went anything past 5 feet away. I closed the app, the headphones disconnected themselves, reconnected, and I have had a solid connection since. Now, whenever I sue the app for ANC function or EQ, I get spotty performance. This is a shame as the setting in the app are absolutely worth tinkering on the fly. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near future. That being noted, I truly do like these headphones, and I find myself gravitating to them over my others daily. A few firmware/software updates, and they'll be perfect.

Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC True Wireless Earbuds are premium build headphones with great sound quality. The charging case as well as the earbuds have rugged texture for comfortable gripping. In the box, included are the charging case, earbuds, three Eartips, USB-C charging cable, and quick start guide. Once you find your right Eartip size, the earbuds sit comfortably in your ears. These are IPX5 rated, which means it is sweat proof and water resistant and can be primarily used during workout. The earbuds are supposed to last around 4.5 hours on a single charge with the case providing an additional 15.5 hours of usage. As with most of the newer headphones on the market, you need to download Adidas app to setup and pair with your device. The app is very well made, and you can use it to tweak sound profiles and change ANC settings. I was able to pair with my iPhone easily and used it for FaceTime and WhatsApp calls with clear audio. Bluetooth 5.2 provides great distance coverage as well as no signal loss when moving away from the phone. I like the individual earbud use so you can extend the overall usage time. Overall, these are awesome headphones with great sound quality and comfortable wear.

Hi Linye, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the earbuds aren't comfortable for your ears. The ZNE 01 ANC come with 3 earbud sizing tips: small, medium and large. The earbuds will have the medium tips on them out of the box, but maybe the small or large sized tips will be more comfortable for your ears? AdidasHeadphones

These in-ear headphones fit very comfortably and have a decent sound. The noise cancelling works well. Out of the box they are well packaged. It comes with a charging case that also stores them. You get 3 different size ear tips along with a charging cable. There are quick start directions that explain how to use the ear buds. The battery life for the ear buds is to be around 4.5 hours but I was around 4 where I needed to charge them but that may be due to changing from noise cancelling to off. The case is not to large. The case is a little slippery but not a huge issue. It paired with my apple phone very easily. I did listen to different genres of music and also played with the apple music settings due to the Adidas did not come with an app or a equalizer. The fit of these ear buds are very comfortable after changing out the original ear pieces with the larger size. I wore them for 4 hours and had no issues. The only con I would say is there is no app which I would like to have the option to turn off noise cancelling from an app as well as having an app equalizer but again not deal breakers. These ear buds are very well made product.

I love going to the gym, going for walks, and listening to the music at the same time. I am always on the prowl for a good set of wireless ANC workout earbuds, so I figured to try these new models from Adidas. Just FYI that I am quite an audiophile and specific with how things sound and respond. With that, let's go over the pros and cons of these earbuds. PROS: - Easy to set up and use. Set up was a breeze, just unboxed it, opened the lid, it synced automatically to my phone and was ready to use. The touch controls seem to work well, no issues with configuring it in the app or using tap touch features. - Sound quality is good. Is it great? No, but for workout earbuds with ANC they are pretty good, I would give the quality a 7/10 for sound. The mids just sound a little muddy to me and not as crisp as I would like. Good low end though. - Auto pause mode when you take one ear bud out. This is nice especially at the gym when you need to take an earbud out to talk to someone, it will automatically pause the music and not do the dreaded mono mode. - They don't fall out when you work out. While weight lifting and doing cardio never had an issue with these falling out or having to constantly adjust them. CONS - Ugh, these get very painful to wear after about 45 min - 1 hour of use. This is quite annoying because my workout's are at least an hour or more, so towards the end of my workout, my inner ear is super sore from the hard plastic these earbuds are made of. The shell just kind of digs into your ear with how it was designed and leaves you wanting to throw these on the floor after they get uncomfortable which is a shame. This is really what prevented this from being a 5 star product in my book. - The app is buggy. It works for the most part, but for example the EQ feature on the app will not work for me, no matter what I can not adjust the levels. - Low battery life. Compared to other earbuds I have used with the same features, this has about HALF the battery life. Other brands I own offer 25-40 hours of life and 5 hours per charge on the buds themselves and the rest in the case. This only gives you 15 hours total with 4 in the buds. For the price I expected better battery life. - Not designed to make phone calls. While I am able to hold a conversation with someone on the other end pretty well, if there is any external noise, like a car, music, even someone talking, they are going to hear it all, there is no active noise cancellation when speaking which I feel should be a feature of headphones this caliber.

I am always looking for the perfect earbuds for walking and running. Adidas did a great job with the design of this product. They are sleek and comfortable with a nice selection of ear cushions. It is important that athletic earbuds stay put while working out. I put these through the test with a nice walk and run combination and they stayed in place for the entire four miles. I didn’t experience any discomfort and hardly knew I had them in. The sound is on par with most earbuds I own. The selection of sound choices is nice and I really enjoyed the rock selection. The bass was just right and the treble was well balanced. Neither were too strong one way or the other. The noise cancellation wasn’t as good with these compared to other models that I own. It wasn’t bad, but not as powerful as others. The charging was fast and I truly appreciate the wireless charging capability. It works nicely without needing a super high powered charger. Finally, the voice quality was very good when talking through them. The clarity and background noise control was very good.
