These earbuds are a nice upgrade from my older set I mostly used for the gym. My last ones weren’t bad but I think the replacement was warranted after using these only a few times. First off, I like the color. The basic white generic color is getting outdated IMO and the black adds a stealth look to them.
These come with rubber cover around the ear part which adds more grip, leaving less room to slide out during movements. Not one time I felt like these were going to fall out, even at the gym when I was on the elliptical, stretching, working out, or casually walking for extended periods.
Sound quality is good for what you’d expect on something this size. I used these during phone calls as well, and not one issue with the 2-way communication. As a bonus, I’m glad these are splash proof since I recently started doing long sessions in the sauna.
One odd thing was the tiny charging cable they included. Its USB C which is a plus, but its barely longer the earbud case itself. Not sure how they expect you to use it but I guess there was some reason or situation they had in mind, but I use one of my other longer cables to charge the case.
Overall, I’m pleased with these. The quick charge time and wireless charging option (haven’t tried it yet) are great features. Bluetooth pairing was super easy, which on these minimalistic devices can be a coin toss at times but they made it simple.

I first bought these headphones on the adidas website on a discount and they lasted so long but the top part broke off (my fault) and one of the earbuds stopped charging so I bought another here but After ONE WEEK of getting them one of the earbuds stops charging.. and that seriously one of my pet peeves..adidas really need to recall these and fix it. Don’t recommend..you’re better off with the AirPods or beats.

One size fits all doesn't work for all.

The real downfall of these earbuds is the fact that they are basically a one size fits all product for many different size ears. If your ears are on the smaller size, then these won't stay in well at all. They do have a silicone sleeve that goes over each one, but that doesn't help matters at all. Plus if your ears are on the smaller size, not only is it hard to get them seeded in properly in your ears, but the volume level will be low. In order to get the proper loudness out of these they need to be seeded into your ear canal very well. There are no volume controls on these, so if your ear is small these won't fit properly and the volume level will be low. Even at max volume on your phone or device these will not be that loud. A really bad design that I'm sure many will have issues with.
The earbuds themselves are well made and have a nice, sturdy charging case. The included USB-C charging cable is, however, ridiculously short. Not sure why they skimped out so badly on the cable. These have about 3 hours of play, which is pretty subpar. Problem you get is you have to play them so loud that it eats up the battery quick. Overall, these are a pass in my opinion. There are literally hundreds of different earbuds available on the market and these fall short in key areas. I would definitely try the fit of these before you buy if at all possible.

Even sounds pretty close if not exact too! I have a pair of the all white brand and recently replaced them with their sport version of the company they’d acquired. I love those. However, I have always worn adidas clothes & our kids do now too. So when I had the chance to try the adidas ZNE 01 ear buds that are true wireless ear buds I wanted to give it a shot.
I wasn’t even aware that adidas was making ear buds or any other products except clothing related items. So I was pleasantly surprised to see these earbuds which have the now iconic look that we all know wireless earbuds are supposed to look like (unless they are “sport” earbuds which have a hook or hoop to hook in or on your ear). Because they look so imiliad they of course we’re compared to that brand by me & by onlookers and anyone who saw me wearing them. They would immediately ask me if adidas make ade them or if I’d put some kind of custom sleeve or cover on the other brand. I let them know that no, no they aren’t somev kind of sleeve and they are indeed made by adidas. Yumfe

I was incredibly happy with how the Adidas Z.N.E. 01 earbuds seemed to fit and stay in – the shape of these seems well designed, at least for my ears. Too many of the “true wireless” earbuds from other popular brands I’ve tried do not hold as well and ultimately at least one falls out and gets lost.
With music, if the earbuds were inserted properly (it took a little adjusting with music playing), these earbuds had a sound that felt almost three dimensional in my ear (the sound moved within the ear).
I tested the Microphone with Zoom, and these did a much better job than my earlier pair (different brand) on catching the whole sound (some wireless earbuds I’ve used seem to detect sound before transmitting and miss the beginning of the sound).
From what I can tell, there’s no way to control volume from the earbuds, but I prefer a simpler touch control like these have (play/pause, skip, answer/hang-up), and I am good controlling volume from the phone.
As per the charge rate, mine came with less than 10% charge, and in 15-20 minutes it was up over 80% charge per earbud. If you’re interested, it might’ve taken closer to an hour for the charging case to go from 10% to 100% charge (where the light turned green), but the charging case can recharge the earbuds, so you expect it to have a bigger battery to charge. The earbud charge time is excellent for when I want to go out for a walk and don’t have to wait too long for them to be usable. The charger is USB-C, and I’m grateful that this has become more standard on devices such as this.
Pairing with the phone using NFC (tap to pair) didn’t work for me, the phone detected the NFC signal, but it failed to connect. The press-button Bluetooth pairing worked easy enough, however.
These earbuds also look nice when worn, they have a little texture.

The Adidas - Z.N.E. 01 TW sport true wireless ear buds are a really nice and simple ear bud to use. The setup for these was about as simple as any earbud I have used. As soon as I removed the earbuds from the charging case and put my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in paring mode, the earbuds started the connection process. Within seconds, the earbuds were ready to use. There is also a button on the bottom of the case to put these in pairing mode if you find you need to use it.
The Adidas sport earbuds come with a very short USB C charging cable that you can use to maintain the battery lever of the charging case, but you can also use a wireless charging pad to top off the case. According to the literature that came with the earbuds, you should get around 5 hours of use on a single charge and I expect the case will charge the earbuds back to 100% at least a couple of times before it will need to be topped off again. The controls are simple. The left earbud controls playback and skip functions. The right earbud answers and ends phone calls. There is no soft rubber earpiece to loose or change, however, the fit is very good. The sound is spacious and the bass is surprisingly good. I have very much enjoyed the sound that these earbuds reproduce. The Adidas are designed for active days and are sweat and splash proof so you can wear them in pretty much any conditions. The case is small and fits in the pocket really well which I also found to be a plus. If you are looking for a good value on a very good earbud, you might want to give this unit a try. I think you will be pleased with the purchase.
