I use PS Elements to edit photos. Both the 2018 and 2019 programs are similar. The 2019 program undoubtedly has a few new bells and whistles but the layout and feel are nearly identical to its predecessor. Since I infrequently use the Organizer and Video Editor portions of this product I'll defer to those who use them more frequently.

Wife wanted the latest version of Elements for Valentine's. Knowing that she'll get great use out of the latest software, I went ahead and purchased it. She's done many projects for personal and church use. She's not much of a graphic designer person, but she was able to easily use this software for her uses.

I'm not a fan of subscription based software - you end up paying a lot more than what you use - so I'm glad Adobe still provides this simplified stand-alone for Photoshop. The most common tools are here for the average consumer to enhance or play with their photos. If it has been awhile since you upgraded from a previous version, it might be time to make that move.

There is a good learning curve, but there are tutorials to help. It also has some easy to use fun edits. In my opinion this software is better than the other in store options. It's not a subscription service, so you can use it forever. Or until the sun implodes.

I have been using Photoshop Elements for at least the last ten generations. It is an economical alternative to the full program at 1/5th the price. I find 95% of the photo editing I need to perform can be done with elements. I recommend this software to all beginner to amateur photographers and those learning to edit.

I have used a number of previous versions, upgrade every 2-3 years to get latest features. One warning on this one. If there is an Administrator account on your computer, you must use that to install. A user account with administrator privileges will not work (unless there is no administrator account).

I love the software, just wish the user interface was a little more friendly and the features were easier to learn and implement. I'm a relative newb to graphic design/editing stuff and the learning curve is more than I thought it would be.

With each upgrade, the options are similar, yet enough new elements are added to keep me buying them from year-to-year. I also love that’s it’s compatible with both my Mac and my Windows laptop. This program is easy to use. I recommend this to friends.

Photoshop Elements isn’t the full Photoshop program, but it is well worth the price! I can choose to let the program make all the adjustments, or I can choose to adjust the photo with the guidance of the program, or I can pretend to be an expert & do it all myself. Bottom line: I love this program!

I had been working with the 2011 (I think) version for a while, so an upgrade was in order and it is really nice. You don't have to be an expert if you Google how-tos. So far, I have learned everything I have searched for.

This software came in perfect time for review as I had a photo shoot coming up for a friends retirement. Installation was through a digital code in which I just downloaded the almost 3gb download and entered my serial number. No problems happened and it was pretty seamless thus far. Once you launch the splash screen you get some tutorials, options for Organizer, Photo editor or Video editor. I tried our Organizer first and imported all my photos. This took a good while off of my 2TB hard drive as about 1 TB of them are photos. It gave me an error stating that HEIC photos are not supported so that might be an issue for anyone using iPhones out there (it is only supported on Mac). Switch your devices to JPEG if using this software. After it imported all my files I did a face recognition of all my photos. This took absolutely forever. I ended up needing to leave my computer on overnight for it to finish. It does a good job discovering faces but is not too good at tracking changes in faces with age and will require a lot of user input to organize later. Once all is done though, performance was pretty snappy. Once nice feature is that it automatically imports photos from Pictures folder, Google Photos and from Onedrive. The downside to this is that it also copies over the file structure which can make it efficient. For example, Google Drive categorized photos by folders that are titled by date. This can create a lot of redundant looking photos. I highly recommend a folder structure on your hard drive that you can easily sort. Moving on to the Photo Editor, it appears similar to most other versions of Photoshop elements. The software is pretty quick on modern hardware and I don’t have anything really bad to say about it as it is what we have all come to expect at this point. It just feels much more mature now. Some features feel as if they have been dumbed down, this is not a bad thing though as it makes your workflow much more efficient as automation is much more prevalent. Much is the same from the last few versions. Most of the changes you will see will be in the realm of automated creations which exist in combination between organizer, photo editor and the splash screen. If you are looking for more tools that create collages, slideshows and videos for you, this upgrade is worth it. If you are only looking for more powerful photo editing tools, it might be worth skipping as it does not feel like they did a whole lot in this version. For what it is, it is good all around software. Once they add HEIC/HEIF support I feel it will be much more worth a purchase.

This product helps you make your photos into works of art. There are easy ways to correct imperfections. For more advanced photographers there are more advanced ways to make your photos into works of art. I love playing around with this app.

This is the best video editing software you could ever buy and you can zoom in and get every detail of what you recorded even if you didn't get it right when you recorded it, this software will help you do it through editing. A life saver.

I have been using Photoshop Elements for a number of years, Elements, 9,11 and 14. With each update the editing options become more sophisticated (and challenging) but generally the basis premise continues the same, so using the program is not a new learning curve just more useful. I don't think it is necessary to update every year, but this was a valuable acquisition to meet my needs. I wish they did not overload the program with so many cutsy projects because I prefer to be the creative one, but for those that like the assistance, it is certainly available. Overall the Elements programs are a great photo editing value for the price.

I don't do a lot of photo editing, so this scaled down software is jsut right for me. It has raw processing features as well as editing in layers all in one piece of software.

I have used this product for years; it is excellent for photo editing. It is not as complete as the "full Photoshop" but all most would need to work or edit photos.
