Easy install, very good program for editing simple videos

I generally open my reviews with first impressions (IE packaging, quality and feel etcetera) but since this was a digital delivery, I must say all the 0's and 1's were delivered in seemingly perfect order. Download and setup was expectedly easy. Adobe has been doing this for a long time and knows what they are good at. Download and install done, let's dig in... Having had on-and-off experience with Premiere Pro series video editing over the years has led me to want an easier way to make quality videos. In the past, if you wanted to make standout videos, you had to spend a good part of the paycheck to get a high-end video editor. Then to learn how to effectively use that pricey software, you had to spend countless hours watching how-to videos on YouTube. The search for knowledge on how to create stunning videos was testimonial to ones patience and fortitude. When I was given the opportunity to get Premiere Elements 2020, I was really looking forward to it. Premiere Elements 2020 is not targeted for the professional, but instead for the layman who doesn’t want to spend a bunch of money on initial investment, and then tons of time to learn editing skills. Premiere Elements 2020 is not only easy to use and straight forward, but also offers friendly guidance that makes it simple to add high end effects or FX to enhance your videos. Premiere Elements 2020 can automatically fix noisy videos, or you have the option to fix them by yourself like a pro. Elements offers simple and intuitive (at least to me) transitions, fades, green screens, color management, effects, audio, texts and many more. The creative effects and coloring are impressive and seemingly with no end. Some of the best FX you see today can be easily created with Premiere Elements 2020. One of the things I really appreciated about Premiere Elements 2020 is it effortlessly caters to different levels of expertise. This allows anyone from a beginner (like my daughter, the aspiring 14 year old YouTuber) to an expert (like my business partner Bo B.) to a luddite like me make a plethora of amazing videos. With the guided edits, Elements will walk you through the process, and teaches you how to make the edits and apply effects so you may learn very easily how to become a competent video editor. If you want to wow your friends and family with amazing videos that you didn’t have to go to college to learn, Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 is it. It takes some doing to get me to give a 5 star rating, but I honestly can not find a reason to give any less. **PLEASE NOTE** This product was provided to me at no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This was an excellent value when purchased on sale. I find it easy to use and it meets all of my expectations.

Good product, with a lot of quirks that you may find useful, or just plain ridiculous. It should be noted that this is a trimmed down version of Premiere Pro. and it does offer a multitude of options, tools, special effects, etc., more than what an average user may need to compile a video.

I bought this to use with my Mac. I tried downloading it but am having problems with the codes. With the store being shut down I can't go in to tell them. I may just return via mail for a working one.

Does what I need it to do. Most work I do with it is editing gopro videos.

Didn't know it was a starter program. Decent as a starter program. Next time I'll get adobe premiere pro!

This has been a good video editing program overall but for me it was a steep learning curve.

This new version has a couple of changes that altered the way I worked but it also has some welcome updates .

This product is good, but won't be able to match voice automatically for video editing. I wish it had that option.

Well the same as the summery really, it’s good but not as easy to learn as I would like. I had to watch a bunch of corses.

Software worked fine for a little bit, but then kept crashing. Went through Adobe help center to get things going again, but same problem occurred on a different project. Adobe Premier is much better, but a bigger learning curve.

Thought this came with the video editing program, it didn't and I was pretty upset about it. They charge so much money and didn't not even combine both programs together.

The software is useful for simple video projects. Good for small computers.

the updates from elements 2018 were great improvements. Answered many questions i had with 2018
