Customers consistently note the Aair 3-in-1 Pro HEPA Air Purifier's significant improvement in air quality and its quiet operation, even at higher fan speeds. Many appreciate the large, high-efficiency filter and the ease of setup and use. However, some users find the mobile application needs improvement in terms of user-friendliness and functionality, and the purifier's size may be a drawback for some.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I visited the website for the company that makes this product I noticed the ratings were low but only a few people purchased. I spoke to the online adviser and he said that the person who purchased it didn't set it up correctly and the review was going to be updated. Great product. Makes a huge difference in how the air smells.

Great value and quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good filter system compared to other units I have seen. Solid charcoal filter that is not just a flimsy layer, but really dense and heavy. The filter is more expensive than others, but it is supposed to last 1 year and therefore seems to equalize if you break it down into per month cost.

really cleans the air
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this unit to see if it would help with my wife's allergies. The unit handles about 550 Sq Ft so more than an average sized room. It includes a sensor to measure the air quality and provides a readout of the rooms air. When we set it up, the reading was 35 which is good. 1 to 50 is the good range. After 1 day it has remained at 1. Noticeable difference for my wife when we are in the living area. Set-up is simple, install the intake air filters in the bottom of the unit, they just sit in place. Download the app, attach it to the network and you are ready to go. You can program the amount of time the unit runs as well as fan speed, check on the status at any time. Extremely quiet when running, even on hi speed. Monster sized filter for cleaning the rooms air, no idea what replacement cost is. Highly recommend.

Solid machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quite loud on high settings. But it’s all white noise. Sounds like being in an airline cabin. I can sleep through it no problem. The room it’s in is probably 700-800sq feet and I need to leave this unit on high all day to really notice a change in air quality. The app is buggy on iPhone - so stay away if that matters a great deal to you.

Careful opening the box & 4 screens were awkward
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this due to Covid and wanting to ensure we were breathing clean air. It was weird to figure out how to install the 4 little screens that go in the bottom of the unit other than that super easy. Also make sure you open the box correctly, you basically open the box around the unit so don’t get aggressive and try to pull it out of the box.

Good air purifier
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Aeris Air Purifier is well built product, but there are a few flaws. Most noticeably, the app. I’m sure after a few updates and modifications it will be just fine. The unit does a great job of cleaning the air. Being able to see the AQI (Air Quality Index) on the unit itself is a plus. Here are a few things that can use some refinement: - [ ] Installing washable filters were a bit tricky to install and not the most user friendly method - [ ] Cannot modify custom programs within the app. You can only delete the old program and create a new one. - [ ] When trying to create a program for overnight, the app will now allow you to go from night hours to morning hours because the last number has to be higher than the first due to it’s military time setup. You have to go from night hours to midnight, then add a second program that will go from midnight to morning to finish creating the routine. - [ ] The app is not the most user friendly and needs refinement. It’s the biggest downfall for such a good air purifier. - [ ] If the unit disconnects from WiFi it would not reconnect on its own. I had to remove the top lid, then reattach. - [ ] Can’t find a way to turn off the ambient button lights. It’s good for a nightlight, but not so great if you don’t want the buttons to be illuminated. - [ ] Unit makes a buzzing sound near the controls when plugged in. It’s not noticeable during the day, but I’m able to hear it at night when it’s quiet. - [ ] Unit makes a chirping noise from the fan area. It’s not very loud, but noticeable at night when it’s quiet. - [ ] Unit makes a humming sound front the fan. It’s not as quiet as other air purifiers I own. - [ ] Ran into an issue where the unit would not power on. I removed the top lid and placed it back onto the unit. Sometimes the connectors for the lid and base do not make a solid connection. Removing it and reconnecting typically fixes the issue. Overall, it’s a good air purifier that gets the job done. Hopefully, if they can refine the app it’ll be nearly perfect.

Quality few are delivering ...
Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many, covid made me consider the quality of air in our home. I researched tons of air purification brands, independent reviews, the science and what makes one machine better than others. My goal was to get a machine to manage dust, smells, chemicals in the air and ultimately viruses. Ultimately, I landed on 4 brands and their product lines. Through my research I learned not all air purification systems are the same or perform at the same level. In so many ways you get what you pay for in this segment of technology. Out of 10 companies I landed in Aeris, BlueAir, Molekule, AirIQ, Honeywell, Winnix. The Aeris devices and Blueair (classic and health protect devices) ranked the two highest in all categories I was analyzing in terms of performance, quality, maintenance cost, overall design and look, reviews, and capabilities. Molekule - really wanted this one ...cool design, good marketing, but seriously poor performance in every independent test and they fail to publish statistics on the performance of their air purification. AirIQ strong performance but very expensive to maintain filters and truly ugly designs. Honeywell only covers a small space, also ugly design and not as highly rated as others. Winnix ranked as my third choice. When comparing Aeris to Blueair (classic and health protect versions) it was a tough decision. Both focus on superior performance in quality of air filtration, capability, and overall quality of their products. I ultimately chose Aeris - they checked the box in every category. Superior air purification, a focus on filtering viruses, VOCs, and several other air problems with great product design. If we are going to have these devices in our home, they must not only perform great ... they must look good and not ruin the decor of a home. 5 days in ... happy with the decision to go with Aeris 3 in 1. Powerful. Love the ability to have the machine on auto which adjusts speed based on air quality the sensors detect. it is quiet at low speeds sometimes barely know it is on. Can be a bit loud on maximum but acceptable and not louder than any other device on the market. If you are going to move 750 sqft of air you need the power and you will hear it. Running the device 24 hours a day. It’s also easy to use. Overall very satisfied with the purchase. The app has nice features. Super helpful. But very basic. This would be one of my primary areas if feedback. It’s functional but could use some design ui/ux improvements. Basic controls are good. However, overall things are not as intuitive as one would hope. Setting up custom programs and schedules needs some design improvements. Not a make or break decision but hope the app improves over time. My only other feedback would be enhanced instructions, set up info, recommendations of use, how to use, where to set it up, when to use it on low or high, how to maximize performance and results. In a sea of options, Aeris is a stand out option for those looking for strong performance in air purification with a focus on aesthetics, design, overall performance, and life of ownership. Happy I found this company. Strongly recommend.

Too loud, too expensive, not enough features.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Aeris Cleantec - Aair 3-in-1 Pro HEPA Air Purifier is one of many high-end home air filtration systems that have hit the market over the past few years. Unfortunately, it does fall short compared to the competition in both features and value. I currently own Blueair and Levoit air purifiers so I have a good baseline to review. I’ve been using Aesis unit for over a week and really put it through the paces. Let’s dive into review. Build, fit and finish: For some reason, there are a lot of air purifiers from Sweden and they always seem to be built well. The Aeris is no different. The plastic is well finished and “machined” (for lack of a better word.) It is heavy at about 40 lbs. Heavy is not a bad thing, it shows how hefty the filter is. Smartly, Aeris put wheels for easy moving. The filter is easily accessible through the top of the unit. When you remove the top cover (no tools required,) the units powers off and you pull the filter out with two tabs (emblazoned with the Swedish flag.) The display is small at about 3 inches round. It is clear and functional but Blueair does a better job on their latest units. The Aeris Cleantec - Aair 3-in-1 Pro large and essentially a big box. Basically, the size of the small trash can. You have to make that large in order to move the volume of air that it does. Where it falls short is the intake and the filter placement. The air intakes are small and have nearly useless pre-filters on them. Here is where Aeris really falls short. The main filter is placed after the blower assembly. It is called a push through design. What that means is the fan is pushing the air through the air filter. At this point, you may be asking so what? But think about this, all the dirty air is going across the fan motor and fan blades. What happens over time is you will have a build up of dust, grime and just about everything else. Have you ever opened up an old computer and looked at the fans – dust everywhere. Think about the level of dust that can build up on the fan on this air purifiers in a few years. Getting in to clean the blower assembly thoroughly is going to be very difficult. If Aeris had simply put the blower assembly after the filer and pulled the air through the filter, it would have eliminated a need to clean it entirely. Filter: The thick filter is designed for removing airborne particulates and odors. Aeris states the filter has charcoal carbon and activated alumina. It is listed as 13 or 14 HEPA filter depending on what you read and filters out particulate downs to .1 micron. At .1 microns, it will filter out viruses. Aeris states its kills Covid 19 – I find that questionable and surprising. There is no UV lights, no peroxide generation, no ionization – nothing that would actively kill COVID 19. I am in the HVAC industry and I deal with a litany of different commercial and residential air purification systems. I am not seeing anything that is close in this unit in terms of actively killing viruses. I am not saying it will not capture viruses, a filter of this quality will absolutely capture nearly everything that passes through it. App and sensors – The app is simple and basic. It tells you the overall indoor air quality but is very nonspecific. The competition simply blows them away. Competitors like Blueair show tVOC’s, humidity, temperature, particle levels. Aeris tells you none of this – very disappointing. It does have an intelligent sensor that automatically adjusts air flow and it definitely works . However, for this price, I would expect the best of all the bells and whistle. There is no Google Home nor Alexa integration ( currently.) Sound – On night mode, it is relatively quiet. Anything above that, it is loud. On high, it sounds like a jet engine and you have to speak loudly over it. This is worse than average on high end purifiers and is mostly due to the unit moving more air that is reasonable for a residential application. In summary - Pros Enormous, thick filter. Well built. App is easy to set up. Moves a lot of air. Cons Too big. Too loud. Too expensive. Not enough metrics in the app. Filters are over $200 to replace. Poor overall design for cleaning the unit itself. Aeris needs to release data on how it supposedly kills Covid 19. Conclusion - A note on air purifiers in general, don’t buy one thinking it will suck all the virus and bacteria out of the air. Unless you are strapping it to your face, regular air purifiers do little to remove pathogens from the air. Think about it, where are the air intakes on this and most air purifiers like this? At the bottom. The air stream is circulating all over the places in a room due to movement, stratification, normal air flow etc. For the most part, room air purifiers do a great job at removing dust, allergens and odors. The Aeris Cleantec - Aair 3-in-1 Pro does just that. However, it’s $1000 price tag, high filter price, subpar app features and loud sound make it hard to recommend. I would recommend getting a smaller air purifier and buy more of them. It will be quieter, more effective and, frankly, the competition does a better job on features.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback, we would like to address some of the points you made that seemed to concern you or you felt were "Cons". First, the size of the intakes doesn’t matter as much as the air flowing through the air purifier. The 3in1 Pro move 390 CFM with the filters in place. That is an important distinction as many manufactures quote their Fans CFM with no filter resistance and uses that to determine coverage. As far as noise levels, you need to compare noise level at similar CFM. For instance, I don't know of anyone that is moving 390 CFM (with filters installed) which will provide a lot of coverage area or more Air Changes per hour, but if you compare say fan speed 4 moving 260 CFM at 47 decibels, that is actually quieter than anyone else moving that much air, if they are moving that much air. Does everyone need to run it on Fan speed 6, probably not. The fan speed is all dependent upon the air quality and the size of the room the unit is operating. The Pre-Filter screen are important because they capture the large dust particles that you mentioned being a concern. We have been running system with and without the filter screens and we have yet to see any build up on the fan itself because of the type of fan we use, but I understand your concerns. That said, the only cleaning you need to do on our systems is cleaning the pre-filter screens 1-3 months and replace the filter. If you have an air purifier that needs more than that, you have got bigger issues on your hands.
We are fine tuning our application. You are correct, we don’t offer a few data points. You mentioned VOCs data, but we’ve not found a VOC sensor that is accurate enough to provide accurate data. Most VOC data points are a calculation based on CO2 and often highly inaccurate. An accurate VOC sensor will run anywhere between $1000 to $4000. We decided to use a laser particle scanner which is highly accurate for measuring particulates in the air. We believe the only responsible thing to do is provide accurate data to our users.
With regards to killing Coronavirus, we take that very seriously and all our filters, in all our system have Zinc Pyrithione embedded in the filter media. We have tested the effectiveness and have ISO18184 test results that show we kill 94% of the viral load in 2 hours. We happily share those test results with anyone who asks to see them. We are extremely proud the innovative approach because, unlike other technology that you mentioned (UV, Ionization, Peroxide Generators) that create harmful by products, like Ozone, our approach only produces clean air. We trap viruses and bacteria and destroy them in the filter. I'll also mention that UV lights require at least 30 second of exposure to kill pathogens, so it only kills what's in the filter as well, the UV light can break down HEPA filter media over time making it less efficient. So, in a non-sealed system, UV is more problematic than good. Same thing with Ionization, if charge particles bypass the filter, in non-sealed systems, that charged particle is not looking to balance its charge and will stick to walls, furniture, clothing, and if you breath it in, your respiratory tract. So yes, less expensive systems have these technologies, but at what cost to the people using them. We understand that air purifiers should never be the only tool used to protect yourself. Everyone should be wearing masks, practicing social distancing and many other means to protect themselves (depending on the environment)
Our filters are $199, but on average they last a year, even longer in some cases. When you compare the filter replacement costs of competitor units, their replacement frequency and costs often far exceed ours, so again, you need to compare more than just the cost. You also need to compare the filters and what they do. We have 4 layers of premium filtration, including VOCs. If you take a close look at our filters, you will notice the filter media is seal in the filter housing, that also helps prevent filter by pass. There is considerable thought put into the design of our systems to ensure the best possible filtration for our customers. We are first and foremost an air purifier company and strive to make the best system available.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us directly and we'd be happy to discuss any concerns you have!

TOP OF THE LINE AIR CLEANER
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SHIPPING: Delivery was relatively quick and it came packaged very well in a large oversized box for protection. PRESENTATION APPEARANCE: Its large but it's appearance is that of a very expensive quality built piece of equipment. FUNCTIONALITY: It's heavy, but the hidden wheels make it easily maneuverable. On its lowest setting it is whisper quiet and can barely be heard when stand right next to it. But on it's highest setting it's quite loud. It's a SMART DEVICE, so it easily connects to your WiFi and then to your smart phone once you download the free app and thereafter it is infinitely controlable. It does a great job and takes the place of multiple different purifiers needed to take care of a whole small home. GRIPES: We had only two gripes: Firstly being that it is a smart device, it senses when the air quality is poor and puts itself onto its highest setting, which as aforementioned is quite loud, and stays on the high and loud setting until the optimum air quality is reached. So if you start cooking, or light up a cigarette, or burn incense or a scented candle it is going to turn to that highest and loudest setting until a few minutes after those pollutants cease. Secondly, when we first attempted to operate the device it wouldn't turn on, as it turns out the top is held in place with magnets and even though the magnets hold it in place it must be tapped down strongly, which we didn't know about and it is not in the paper instructions and or the online instructions and there is no telephone number to call for support, however there was a text chat address and they were able to give us the heads up on that procedure and thereafter everything worked fine. This device is medical grade quality and definitely well worth the high price, especially since it is on sale at Best Buy for hundred of dollars less than it can be found elsewhere.

Posted .Thank you for the feedback. I agree that our instructions need to be improved, but the unit is ready to go right out of the box. When you plug it in, it powers on to Smart mode and you are filtering the air. The four "mini-filters" can be a challenge, but they do not need to be installed. They are more beneficial if you have lots of Pet hair, but that would require you to clean them. Imagine that stuff that you are cleaning off the "mini-filters" has been removed from the environment and you are not breathing it in! If you ever have questions, feel free to call our support team. Fresh Air!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The amount of air pollutants this filter can handle is impressive: Viruses (including coronavirus!) Dust Ozone Odors Gas Paint Smells Smoke Mold Oil Droplets Pet Dander Pollen I’ve had it running non-stop since I received it in the mail. Setup is simple, the main filter is already installed but you have to insert the 4 inlet pre-filters at the bottom. Then just plug it in. It has an Air Quality Index (AQI) on the display which will always inform you of how good your air quality is with 1 being the best and 500 being the worst. Most of the time mine is at 1 or 2 and it is quiet. The highest I’ve seen it go so far is 50 and that was when I had it near the open door and my gas grill going on the back patio. It was in “Smart” mode which means it automatically kicked up the fan to try to clean the air faster. The other time was when I was cooking bacon, I actually burned it and the smoke detectors went off. When I glanced at the AQI it was at 25 but could have very well been higher by the time I got the smoke detectors disabled and the dogs and kids calmed down from the ear-piercing noise. Not only does the air purifier work well on smoke, but also odor, as there was no lingering bacon smell in the house! It is wifi-enabled and there is an app called Aeris that you can use to monitor the system and control its operation from your phone. The app will also allow you to compare your indoor readings with the closest outdoor air quality measurement. The only downside I can think of is the big filter has to be replaced every year and it is not cheap so you need to factor that into the cost of owning this. However, it’s super easy to replace as the top cover is magnetic and pops right out then you simply lift the filter out. The system will tell you (the app does too) when it is time to replace the filter.. Pros 750 sq foot coverage Air Quality Indicator Quiet Automatic Wheels make it easy to move Wifi-enabled w/ app Cons: Cost of replacement filters will add up over time Overall – I don’t think you could ask for anything more from an air purifier!

Smart air purifier with some horsepower
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first regarding the cost of this unit compared to others I have used before. This air purifier is a serious machine though. First, that packaging is very nice and it is packed in an almost artistic way. It reminds me of unboxing a Dyson. You have to put some plastic screens at the bottom of the unit and you are ready to begin. You turn it on and it pretty much starts working right away. You press the 'Q' button and it is ready to connect to your network. You download the app and you hit the plus symbol to add the device. The connection process is the same as almost every other smart device I have ever used. It was now connected to my network and the app shows me my air quality in real time. That is pretty nice. So it runs very quiet and smooth and looks very futuristic. It has a glowing display and when anyone sees it you immediately know it is some kind of high-tech device. I really love the way it looks. It is like a gunmetal sleek gray. We have it set up in our living room which is open to our kitchen so it covers a large area. This is built for large rooms. So one day I was half asleep in my bedroom and my wife went to the living room to fix her hair as not to bother me. She began to use hairspray and the purifier kicked into high gear to clean the air. This woke me up and we both had a good laugh. I thought this was very cool as you can tell it is doing it's job. Another example was when I was cooking a nice steak on my cast iron skillet. It was getting kind of smoky and I turned on my hood fan and my ceiling exhaust fan. But next thing I knew, the purifier kicked in again. Overall I have been enjoying the peace of mind with this unit keeping my large living room clean. Most of my family and I suffer from seasonal allergies so I cannot wait until spring and summer roll around to find out if this makes a big difference. So far it has been impressing me with each day it runs.
