Kit comes with liquid plant food, plastic dome protectors and 9 pods. We have a 3 pod Aero Garden and buying the 9 pack was the best deal for us. We used this kit as a seed starter with intent to plant in soil when weather warmed up. We "planted" 3, added the liquid plant food initial dose, snapped on the plastic domes and waited to see what happened. Two plants sprouted and took off well enough after a long 2 weeks. The third started to sprout and withered but clung to life. Eventually we planted the two into soil and let the runt grow a little longer. It did eventually catch up but not until we just put it in the ground and let it grow in actual soil. We did add nutrient when instructed so we figured it was just bad luck. Once the slow growing pod was planted in soil and out of the Aerogarden we placed 3 more pods in and an initial plant food dose and the plastic domes. Again, only two took off and the third pod lagged behind, although this time the third pod died completely and didn't recover. The bad pod was in a different location in the areogarden so it seems to me that the seeds are a little unreliable. So overall we had some issues with the seeds. Supposedly there is a guarantee or something from Aerogarden for failed seeds and I looked into it but determined that the time required in phone trees and emails that will take weeks to get a response was not worth the time or effort. They probably would honor the guarantee but you probably will have to jump through some hoops and spend a lot of time on hold. I wouldn't buy this product again as I think it would probably be cheaper to just use the UV light from my aerogarden and start seeds in seed trays and dilute the left over plant food into a spray bottle. You can get seeds pretty cheap lots of places. If you want to use these pods as purely hydroponic it might be a better fit for you but be prepared for some dud pods.

Great germination rate, fast growing so far so good.

We purchased the cherry tomato seed pods for our AeroGarden about a month ago. We planted them in the AeroGarden and they have sprouted. It will be a few more weeks before we have tomatoes that are ready to harvest. So far it looks like we will have a good number of tomatoes.

Plants are growing very well. We haven't gotten to eat these Heirloom cherry tomatoes yet but, if the health of the plants are any indication - they're going to be delicious! No "duds" - all pods grow very well.

Purchased this for the kids to experience growing their own tomato’s. Unfortunately we only had one pod to produce tomatoes. User errors. It takes about 2months to see tomatoes.

So excited to try these! The aerogarden must have been one of thr most popular gifts for 2020 because I could not find the seed pods anywhere except here! Fast delivery. Will let you know how the tomatoes turn out

A little disappointed in the germination rate as 2 of the 6 pods didn’t germinate. The quality of the tomato’s are good and the grow time is as well.

Tomatoes came up so now just to wait and see how long they take. Came in a timely manner. Would order again from Best Buy

Haven’t used these particular plants yet/ but they are always plentiful and yummy!

I can't wait to plant it just happy with it because I had lettuce, now is time to plant my tomatoes....
