Customers are delighted by the AG7 True Wireless Stereo Gaming Headset for Xbox One's excellent sound quality, long battery life, and comfortable design, frequently praising its immersive bass and reliable wireless performance. Many appreciate the headset's value for its price. While some find the headset somewhat heavy, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Nice Wireless Headset with good sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently decided to upgrade to the Xbox one and had to get a new headset. I know I wanted wireless and didn't want to spend $150 for it. After looking around I chose AG 7. The setup was very easy and I have played for multiple hours straight and no issues with the battery. I like the retractable mic, and after comparing the AG 7 & AG 9 the 9 is not much different, it is heavier and the range is shorter. I got this one on sale. I also really like the fact it lights up, it is very cool in my opinion.

Best bang for the buck!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. I was speechless. Had a clipping issue with my turtle beach XO ONE, decided to try PDP afterglows. Wasn't sure of quality. Battery lasts a LONG time. They state 16HRS, i got literally like 15 hrs on a single charge. Recharges in like 3 hrs, plus you can use while you charge. If you use BASS MODE, the bass feels like you have extra speakers just for bass. Noise cancelling is top notch. Clarity is on par with the top of the line ASTROS and Turtle Beach. Trust me try them. Best $100 i've spent on a headset ever!!

Good, but has flaws.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these due to past experience with PDP and have been happy with them for my PS3/PS4 and have the wired ones for my son to use on the X-1. Here are my Pros: -Like all previous Afterglows, very good sound with 2-settings; -Good overall build quality; -The cool lighting effect, if you like that; it's nice that you have the option of enabling and disabling that feature. -Easy set up, literally plug & play. Cons: -Very uncomfortable compared to other versions, including the wired Karga's for the X-1,which are much more comfortable compared to theses -PDP seemed to skimp a little on the quality in the comfort department just to make an affordable all wireless headset; wished they hadn't done that. -Volume seems to boom, there's no middle ground - I was trying to find a middle ground but when you turn up the volume, it tends to scale up and then boom. I like that they get nice and loud with nice boom as other PDP's, but these don't scale too well. With only 20-minutes into my gaming session, they became uncomfortable to my ear, just the overall fit. In fact the next day, my ear was still sore due to the way they wore. I wore them for a total of just over an hour. It could be the pair I have as the right ear padding appeared of poor build. To say the least, I will be returning them due to comfort issues. But might be willing to try another pair to see if the padding is better than this pair or try a different brand all together.

Doesn't seem to be for adults
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received the A7 headset for the x1 as a gift. The sound was good enough for what I thought was a cheaper headset (~$60). I wasn't looking for 5.1 or 7.1 surround so these seemed to work well enough for late night gaming when everyone else in the house was sleeping. They don't seem flimsy or cheap feeling and despite being a bit tacky with the light-up sides (which you can turn off) they look/feel like a higher quality item (compared to my old TB x42's). The wireless sync was flawless and pretty much instant. I plugged in the USB dongle into the side port on my x1 and it instantly popped up as having a headset attached. Then it was just a matter of turning on the headset and it was working. A lot easier and more reliable than the TB x42's have proven to be. The issues start when actually trying to wear them. I don't have a large head, but these had to be extended to the max in order to cover my ears and even then seemed slightly off in fit. They weren't uncomfortable or painful after time, just didn't seem to fit quite right after adjusting many times. Again, I don't have a big head so I imagine any adult sized head will be an issue in these. The biggest concern and the reason I returned them is that anyone in my chat group said I was barely audible. The mic, while nice being able to have it recessed into the headset when not using chat, doesn't extend far enough to get close to my mouth to pick up my voice properly. I literally had to turn the headset on my head so that it wasn't even over my left ear and barely near my right ear in order for my chat group to hear me. Not what you want... The final nail in the coffin is the price. While I feel these would be fine for younger (smaller) people, asking price of $99 seems a bit steep to me. I am sure you could wait for a sale price of 60-70 and be good, however. As I mentioned, they do sound fine and the wireless functions perfectly and instant...just as long as they fit your head and the mic gets close to your mouth.

Poor mic sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Afterglow AG7 the day they came out and found the sound quality to be great. Only problem was that the microphone barely picked up my voice. When using the mic, the people I was talking to could barely hear me. I contacted the manufacturer and they had not had any reports of the problem and said I should be able to whisper and be heard. I returned the headphones and got another pair in case the first pair was just a fluke. Second pair had the same problem. I am returning them today and getting a different type of headphone.

Did Ok at first
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first bought the AG7 did great now not so much after the xbox one update. Had problems with the sound reverse and after finding the fix which is a firmware update it still gives me problems. Every couple days I have to do a firmware update.

Best Xbox One Wireless Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has got to be the best purchase we made for our son. He went through several headsets both wired and wireless but this was his favorite. Battery life is excellent on it.
