Purchased these so I can listen to iTunes while riding on bikes, still be aware of my surroundings, not not be annoyance to others on the trail who prefered to ride in quiet. They are great for that purpose. Hits the mark on all three concerns. The quality I hear is very good. To note, this is just to listen to music in the background, if you want an immersive music listening experience then look for traditional headsets.

Excellent for individuals who cannot tolerate blue tooth devices in the ear. I was fortunate a Best Buy representative guided me to this model after explaining I could no longer use "in ear" devices. The clarity is great when listening and phone partners have expressed how clear my voice sounds to them.

These are reasonably comfortable to wear but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Not terrible, but not great either. If you're listening to anything with a lot of bass at higher volumes the vibrations can be pretty annoying. Over all, they're ok for listening to music when you need to be able to hear your surroundings, but they're not something I want to wear a lot.

These were for my wife, recommended by our son-in-law who is outdoors cycling and skiing a lot, and she loves them. Since they are bone conductance, the ears are not at all blocked and she can have a normal conversation with music playing. The are very comfortable and secure, easy to control.

The headset rests on the ears and not in the ear. It’s so comfortable that I forget that I’m wearing it. They fit fine even when I have glasses on. They were easy to connect to my iPhone. When you power on, a voice says “power on” and if my iPhone is nearby, it says “connected”. If the charge gets low, it tells you it needs to be charged.

Wearing this on bike rides to hear traffic and enjoy music at the same time. Works well, long battery life. Surprisingly loud, perhaps expected the to be able to hear sound from the environment a little bit better. Wind noise can be an issue. Left bud developed some crackling noise after a few months. Aftershokz replaced the headset under warranty quickly. Great service.

A great alternative to earbuds. Allows you to privately listen to media or phone calls and remain alert to your surroundings. Obviously not great for very loud surroundings. They can be turned up to high volume, but on high volume the can vibrate against skin.

I love the AfterShokz wireless headphone products. They are easy to use, comfortable to wear, and the sound production meets my expectations for a bone conduction headphone device that is not in or covering my ears. I have purchased three sets of these headphones, one for me, one for my wife, and one for my mother-in-law. We all love using them.

I wanted headphones to listen to music while at work in an office environment yet wanted to remain aware of my surroundings as coworkers need my attention from time to time. The Trekz Air headphones are ideal for this. I can listen to music as I want but when a coworker shows up at my desk I can hear them approach and won't be taken by surprise when tapped on the shoulder. Great for walking outdoors too so you can hear approaching traffic.

I used to have the old on ear head phones from insignia in BEST BUY BLUE they were awesome for riding and running and still being able to hear. They don't make the insignia model so I had to find something and these were perfect! sound great still hear everything they are easy to use. the back band is a little long (I like it tighter to my head) but doesn't affect anything these are great

Great Bluetooth capability, sounds crisp and clear for up to 21-24ish feet then you start losing signal here and there as you walk further away from your phone. Like I've mentioned in my previous reviews, I work outside using multiple hand held tools while using my phone to communicate with peers and supervisors and this is Definitely hands down the best Bluetooth headsets I've bought in the past 5 years. Good AfterShokz keep up the great work.

Light weight. You hardly know you have it on. Easy to connect to devices with Bluetooth. The quality of the sound is not the best. It not recommended for use in a noisy area, where there are several people are talking. I used it in a common dining area as a test...result, never use it in a common dining area. It is recommended when you are outside in the yard or for walking.

This is by far the best wireless headset I have ever owned. The Bluetooth setup is intuitive and fast. The audio is transferred via bone conduction so you literally feel the music... I put earplugs in and cut the grass with them and I think the audio is even better with earplugs in. I am not an “audiophile” so my standards may not be as steep, but for the average user... these are waaay more than adequate!
