Great for cyclists and runners.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel this type of technology is a must if you're doing anything active outside. I used this while I'm running or cycling. It is my go to headphones at work. It allows me to be aware of my surroundings. The sound quality is not great. As for the fit, you'll notice it, pressure on your temples, when you're stationary. If you're being active then you wont noticed it at all. I took a fall, went over my handlebar on my bike, and it was still on my head. I gave it a 4 star because of the price. I dont believe this product is worth $150.

No More Earbuds Yay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these AfterShokz because I wanted something other than in ear or on ear headphones when walking outdoors. These have replaced all ear buds. At first, I worried they might not fit over my earlobes comfortably but they are perfect. Clear sound, works as designed. Some vibration but turned volume down it was fine. Audio is crystal clear. Don't get me wrong, the quality is not like my Beats or Bose but I truly love the fact I can be aware of my surroundings when I start walking outside. Happy with my purchase.

Perfect for runners
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These bone conducting headphones are perfect as I can enjoy great music while running, but also hear cars or other people approaching on the run. You can enjoy noise canceling benefits if you use the earplugs, but these are wonderful without them. I always experience ear pain with typical earbuds - these are lightweight and wonderful. I bought them for my husband, but use them way more than he does - I'll buy the smaller pair for myself in the near future!

Great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphones. They are very comfortable to wear but the best part is I now can listen to music in stereo! I have a middle ear problem with very poor hearing in one ear. Since these bypass the middle ear I can enjoy stereo sound again. Woohoo! I also like that they don't block out other sounds like someone talking to me. I can see how these are great for bike riders, skateboarders and scooter riders too! You'll hear sounds you need to hear while enjoying music. Also great for cubicle rats

Very comfortable and sound good...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these as I'm on conference calls all day and wanted something less obtrusive in my ears. This is a great solution for that and they fit surprisingly well over my eyeglasses. These may not be for everyone as they are not audiophile quality but very good for phone calls. If you need to crank up the volume to overcome ambient noise, these are not for you as they will vibrate on your head. I keep the volume at 75% of maximum and have no problem with music or phone calls. In summary, these are great for phone calls and just good for music.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had these for over a year now and I have to say I absolutely love them! They’re comfortable and I get the same great experience when I’m listening to music. The one downside to these is that I’ll not about to have a clear telephone conversation with them. The party on the other end always complains of my voice being distorted. But, if you’re only using them to listen to music it’s a great way to zone out but still be present.

Easy to wear and great sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always found earbuds and conventional headphones uncomfortable to wear - they either don’t fit right, fall out, or make my ears uncomfortably warm after a short period. I bought these open ear headphones to wear while working out and participating in 5k races. Not only are they super light but the sound quality for me is awesome! I have a chronic blockage in one ear and usually only get tiny or thin sound on that side - with these AfterShokz the sound comes through perfectly clear.

Second best gadget for Running
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Next to the Gamin Forerunner235 this is by fare the best pair of headphones for running. These headphones are lightweight and comfortable. An added bonus is that as I am running, it will announce my heart rate making it easier to stay in the zone and pace myself. I have a pair of Bose Soundsport Free which have awesome sound but cut out on runs out doors (so I use them for the gym and treadmill). Everyone I talk to about running I suggest they switch to the Aftershokz Air.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great especially for walking outside or cycling or anywhere where hearing traffic around you is an issue. If you turn up the volume then ambient noise becomes less noticeable, which is nice too since you can adjust or balance out the music vs ambient noise. I love them.........I do have quite a few sets of headphones, Bose, Klipsch, sound quality on these are 4/5 compared to traditional headphones. When exercising they do stay put.

Great to hear outside but with a soundtrack
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these all the time for phone calls. They sit very easy on your head and are nicer than any in ear models. Sound quality is great and I am always heard very clearly. They are great for when you are working out and for when you want to be able to hear others around you. They would not be good if you wanted to completely block out everything, but that is not what they were made for.

Repeat Customer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these AfterShokz headphones to replace a set that went missing. I already knew I liked them. I've never liked earbud style devices because my ears hurt after a while. These are lightweight and easy to wear for extended periods. Over-the-ear headphones are superior for full-range music reproduction, but these are great for podcasts, audiobooks, and casual music listening.

Just what I was looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect fit for me although wish they were adjustable at this price. Figured out there are 2 sound settings. To get the best sound hold the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time to flip between the two settings. I almost took them back because they sounded so tinny until I figured out that part. Then the sound was pretty amazing for something that also lets you hear what’s going on around you.

Works great for outdoor running
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't usually wear earphones while running on the road because you need to hear cars, etc, but these work really well while letting you hear your surroundings, too. The sound transfers into your head through bone conduction and sounds great once you get used to it, and I can still hear the world around me. A charge lasts for hours- I usually get 4 or more 1+ hour runs out of a charge. The controls and small buttons take some getting used to.

Great Design / So-So Audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two pair of these headphones for Christmas 2017. One of which was a gift to myself. Design: These are sleek and attractive. The Aftershokz Treks fit fantastically around the head, ear and neck. They do not move while working out which is exactly what I was looking for. The rubber pouch that comes with it is super handy! Operation: Syncing the bluetooth was extremely easy. You can't say that about all wireless headphones. Volume up and down, and turning the device on and off is simple too. I rate these as "Fair" because the volume on the headphones is not what I expected, and given the price, I set high expectations. Volume turned all the way up is extremely low, and I use the Iphone X with it. I was able to somewhat rememdy the issue by turning off the "equalizer" function in my iPhone X settings. The volume somewhat improved, but to no great extent as I was still unable to enjoy base, mids, and treble. The sound was more like an above average clock radio rather than $150 workout headphones. I totally get, and understand, the purpose of the design (no buds going into the ear), however, I am pretty disappointed with the audio. I love the look and feel, but my expectations were simply not meant in regards to the audio function. Hope this helps....

Sounds good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hubby wears hearing aides and music sounds .... not so good, I got him these and now music sounds good again. The fact they don’t go in the ears mKe all the difference. He can hear me on the phone now too. VERY happy with this set. Bought more for the grandkids.... again.. not in the ears so they can still be aware of what’s going on around them too... yay

Just What I Was Searching For
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something that left ears open but allowed me to enjoy music while walking the dog or working around the yard. These are the perfect answer. No, you don't get the "deep" bass but I didn't expect it. What you do get is the ability to stay aware of your surroundings while still enjoying your music. They sound good, don't move on your head, stay charged quite a while and are easy to set up and charge when they need to be. I would purchase these again.
