Interesting innovation the plus side is the open ear design the downside is low volume and you need to use a proprietary charger and it's not as full featured as the plantronics line of headsets

I bought this for my son, he works from home. He is on the computer for 8 hours. He likes this earphones because it doesn’t touch his face. He had allergies from the material of the bid earphones.

Excellent product when working in an environment where you need to hear around you. The sound quality is great and the boom microphone allows people to hear you better.

While this headset is comfortable and sound quality is OK for voice communication, it suffers from a fatal flaw when used for MS Teams meetings, etc: you hear a beep every few seconds to “remind” you that you’re on mute. Unless you’re presenting in a meeting, you’re usually on mute as virtual meeting etiquette, so this beeping is incredibly annoying. There’s no foolproof way of disabling it… and yes, I contacted Shokz customer support about this. Their “solution” was an upsell to purchase their USB dongle, which supposedly doesn’t have this problem; a problem which shouldn’t exist in the first place. I’m certainly not going to spend an additional $50 to find out. Bass response is virtually non-existent, so music can sound “tinny.” There are also times where you really don’t want to be situationally aware: you’re listening to whatever and don’t want to hear the kids screaming in the background, or you’re in the gym and you’d rather listen to your own tunes than the obnoxious “music” blaring overhead, or you’re in an online meeting and there’s a lot of background office noise. In all these situations this headset fails, because you’re always going to hear what’s going on around you. In conclusion, an interesting concept which doesn’t live up to its hype. Another gadget destined for my junk drawer. My advise if you need a headset for virtual meetings is to look elsewhere.

This is absolutely awesome. I wear it all day long. I can’t even feel it on my head after a while. The battery last me all day long. My day starts at 6am and ends at 7:30. Again. Love it. A must buy.

Great product. clear sound even though these are not on your ear like other beats/sony over the ear headphone which makes you sweaty if you have long calls. Very happy with the product.

I was a little skeptical at first...but they are working well with phone calls and listing to music, etc. I wore them on a plane...not so great. But my whole purpose was phone calls and they have been perfect!

The AfterShokz - OpenComm Bone Conduction Stereo Bluetooth Headset are pretty innovative. Didn't know what to expect with these but they are extremely well built and comfortable to wear. The microphone boom is easily moved & tucked away when you're not needing to talk. They are light weight and laid out in a totally logical way. All the buttons intuitively make sense, have a solid feel in actuation without stiffness nor a perception of sloppiness. Pairing this head-set with my two primary phones was quick & painless. I was a bit shocked there wasn't a mobile app for these. I suppose future firmware updates aren't in the cards. Call quality is strong & clean. The way these mechanically couple to your head is pretty amazing. Stereo separation is strong and distinct but for all intents & purposes, these really aren't intended for the 'audiophile' types. Max volume is limited and fidelity is pretty subdued. Don't get me wrong, for communications - these are great - but for music listening, I found them to only be OK. For voice communication however, they are clear and direct. Noise cancellation seems to be on par with competing products; no complaints of any kind from those on the other side of my calls. The magnetically coupled charging cable is a good length and charging time was fast on various, fast charging bricks that I already own. These aren't really marketed for high fidelity music reproduction, so I'm not dinging them for that. The dropping of 1 star is because there isn't a mobile support app. Nonetheless, I can truly recommend this head-set for anyone that clocks in serious, hands-free talk time on-the-go. They are comfortable, simple to interact with, have great battery life & charging performance and they just feel like they are well engineered in the hand. They come across as a totally professional, non-pretentious looking piece of head gear.

Purchased mid-May strictly for work calls and they worked great for a while. End of June - Early July, team members kept complaining that my voice was distorted. It got so bad I just went back to using my phone for calls. Decided to try them again today (making sure they were fully charged) and the issue persists. When they worked, I felt that they were totally worth the $$. Now I have $150 paperweight.

So I have been impressed with this little unit. The sound quality is good and the microphone noise cancellation seems to work quite well. Everyone who I talk to on the phone says I sound good And much much smarter.

Good quality, work as advertised, fit well. A must for anyone i the transportation industry, or any industry where hearing your surroundings is vital.

Great headset. Being death completely in one ear, this headset allows me to actually hear out of that ear. Since it's design for bone connectivity. I would recommend this product for those with hearing problems

These are fantastic for work from home, I can wear them all day and have forgot I was wearing them several times. Originally bought for my work, but ended up buying another pair for my wife who also loves them.

Excellent sound. Mic helps pick up voice in situations needed. If you're in loud surroundings, you might need to wear earplugs to hear anything. You will hear through the vibrations when you have earplugs in.

AWESOME. I love listening music when playing golf. Unfortunately some of my playing buddies can't stand hearing anything. They work great I can hear everything around me and still listen to music.

Great overall quality build. Feels durable and had decent features. The design is streamlined and in most instances works well. Great noise canceling boom microphone. Those are the pros. The cons: You can't wear a beanie, or a hoodie comfortably. The headset interferes with that. The back breaker for me is the battery life. You have to charge this everyday. Even if you only used it for a few quick conversations the previous day and turned it off. It WILL die on you halfway through the next day. I expected better specs for the price.

Love the headset! You can hear everything around you, and talk and hear flawlessly when on a call. This is my 2nd headset like this.

Good sound and mic quality, ended up going with the Aeropex model for it's dual device connectivity. Otherwise these were equally good and I would have picked these over the Aeropex for the boom mic.

They are the best bone conduction headset. Good sound quality with noise cancelation. Boom mic is great and your voice is very clear to a next person.

This is a great headset that is perfect for taking calls on the road. Also use it for my business calls. Noise canceling is amazing on this headset.
