Lightweight Bluetooth Headset

The design of this headset is unlike anything I have used before. They come packaged in a nice hard carrying case which is a bonus. I do think the case is a little large than it needs to be but it is a nice addition none the less. I have been using this headset mostly during work conference calls. The boom microphone is a great addition that insures the best microphone quality. Another aspect of the design is that they are very lightweight, comfortable and can be worn all day without any issues. The only flaw that I have found is because they use bone conduction for sound, the overall sound quality is not the best. Most of the calls I have used it on I have not noticed any problems but when it comes to music or videos I did not prefer using this headset. Overall, I would recommend this headset for anyone looking to use it for conference calling or something where you will be using the microphone. If you are looking for high quality sound i would not recommend this headset.

Annoying Headset!

If you wear a headset all day for work, these can get very annoying. They buzz constantly because of the bone conduction. Also, they can be heard by people around you. They also do not work well qith MS Teams or Zoom.

So Comfortable You Might Forget You're Wearing It

I have been on the hunt for the perfect daily headset for some time as I have been working remotely for five years now. I have tried my Airpods Pro, which has a terrible short battery life and seems to push their way out of my ears at some point as well as gaming options which were big and too uncomfortable for eightish hours of use. This one though has an amazing battery life that usually takes a couple of days before it gets low and also sits just outside of your eardrum in a comfortable position. My only real gripe is the lack of adjustability. I am a petite person and this leaves a 2 inch or so gap around the back of my head, which isn't so much an issue but can be cumbersome as a woman with a full head of long hair. Aside from that, this headset has a really nice case and is easy to travel with, while also having a nice range. While this headset isn't the least expensive of options, it is still my top and most suggested to date, so definitely check it out if you're on the market for an all-day wearing option.

A few positives right off the bat:
All day battery life even with a heavy day of Teams meetings
No sweaty ears
Awesome noise cancellation
Easy Bluetooth pairing (for your first device at least)
My nitpicks:
Makes my cheeks rattle if i listen to music (or talk to baritone friends)
Not immediately clear how to pair multiple devices (say computer and phone) which was essential to me
Even with all of the above i feel like I have to say this is one of the BEST Bluetooth devices I’ve ever used for voice calls. Bone conduction has come a really long way and I couldn’t be happier with this device. Make sure you look at the directions online as multipoint pairing instructions are found in a video.

Work from home accessory

I use the Aftershokz when I run outdoors, so why not when I work indoors?
With the work from home alternative, I was using another brand that fit over the ears. After long conference calls, my ears would be hot and sweaty. They broke and I got these
Benefits
- work all day long on a single charge
- connection is seamless
- I can still hear the house and family and not totally isolated
- my ears are cool and comfortable at the end of the day
- you are not tethered by a cord
Downside
- be aware of the mute button (not on the headphones) and take them off if you are unsure if you are muted

After owning for 2 months i have used them 4 times. After full charge only last 3 hours. Sending back for replacement. Customer care at aftershokz was very helpfull when you finally find a phone number to call them. There web site doesn't like to work with cell phones or chromebook.

At first it has noise cancellation but that goes away after a few weeks. My husband drives a truck and I can’t even hear him for all the background noise. I can’t believe they are selling these at truck stops now. Nice design but huge flaws

Very disappointed with my purchase.
They claim 16 hours talk time and the most talk time I get is 8 hours at the most if that. I tried calling Aftershokz customer service and they do not have a working phone number to call
I wish I could rate them a 0 but 1 is the lowest I could go but 1 is too good of rating.Wo

Used for two days. both evenings had blinding headaches. first night i thought it was just some random headache (i get a few mild ones here and there). The second night i figured this might be the culprit and didn't use the third day. headaches went away. i returned this very quickly after that. solid pass.

Love It!

I jumped to test this AfterShokz headset with the microphone! I have one without the microphone and love it! These were real easy to connect via Bluetooth to my work laptop for my online meetings while working from home. What is great about it is that I can listen to music or listen to a online meeting without disturbing others around me while still being able to hear my own environment around me too! Not to mention that because these do not actually go in the inside of my ear, they are so comfortable that I can wear them for the entire workday! I can finally walk outside too without feeling vulnerable by not being able to hear traffic or something or someone coming up behind me. With these, you can hear everything in your environment and hear your music, or phone call, or meeting with clarity! They are the best! The only thing I have noticed is that when the discussion on the phone gets loud, you sometimes feel the vibrations in your head, or is it in the flesh or your bones under the headset? Hard to tell, but it does feel funny and a bit ticklish. Still, all good!
