After owning for 2 months i have used them 4 times. After full charge only last 3 hours. Sending back for replacement. Customer care at aftershokz was very helpfull when you finally find a phone number to call them. There web site doesn't like to work with cell phones or chromebook.

At first it has noise cancellation but that goes away after a few weeks. My husband drives a truck and I can’t even hear him for all the background noise. I can’t believe they are selling these at truck stops now. Nice design but huge flaws

Very disappointed with my purchase. They claim 16 hours talk time and the most talk time I get is 8 hours at the most if that. I tried calling Aftershokz customer service and they do not have a working phone number to call I wish I could rate them a 0 but 1 is the lowest I could go but 1 is too good of rating.Wo

Used for two days. both evenings had blinding headaches. first night i thought it was just some random headache (i get a few mild ones here and there). The second night i figured this might be the culprit and didn't use the third day. headaches went away. i returned this very quickly after that. solid pass.

Shokz? More like Shoddy. I am so disappointed in this wireless headset. My co-workers said I sounded like I was on another planet. Do yourself a favor -- learn from my mistake and try another brand.

The product works great, but Best Buy's shipping is garbage. It came several days late and they wouldn't let me cancel and pick up in store even though it hadn't even been shipped.

I jumped to test this AfterShokz headset with the microphone! I have one without the microphone and love it! These were real easy to connect via Bluetooth to my work laptop for my online meetings while working from home. What is great about it is that I can listen to music or listen to a online meeting without disturbing others around me while still being able to hear my own environment around me too! Not to mention that because these do not actually go in the inside of my ear, they are so comfortable that I can wear them for the entire workday! I can finally walk outside too without feeling vulnerable by not being able to hear traffic or something or someone coming up behind me. With these, you can hear everything in your environment and hear your music, or phone call, or meeting with clarity! They are the best! The only thing I have noticed is that when the discussion on the phone gets loud, you sometimes feel the vibrations in your head, or is it in the flesh or your bones under the headset? Hard to tell, but it does feel funny and a bit ticklish. Still, all good!

I suffer from Meniere's Disease, and I have mild hearing loss in my right ear. The sound that I do receive through my ear canal is what I would describe as sound coming from a "blown speaker". Not great for someone who really enjoys music, but that's life. I have no idea if bone conduction _should_ help someone with my condition, but my perception is that it does in my case. I heard good quality sound. The headset connected via Bluetooth easily with my phone - zero issues. I have not yet tried connecting via NFC. The headset has a lot of great features for listening to audio and controlling your phone's media player. Playing a song, pausing a song, skipping to the next song, etc. is all facilitated via two buttons. In summary: Pros: Light headset with pretty intuitive controls. Great audio quality. Very stable on the head during activity (Peloton, running, etc.). Cons: I have not found any yet

AfterShokz' OpenComm Bone Conduction Stereo Bluetooth Headset- is highly engineered with patented 7th generation bone conduction technology and open-ear design. The OpenComm uses a DSP noise-canceling boom mic and helps provide great situation awareness while you’re at your desk, on the road, or in open air. It charges easily and has a magnetic break connector for the charging cable (USB type). It seems to weigh next to nothing even over extended periods of wear - quite comfortable. Time will tell but it seems quite durable. The controls make sense and the LEDs are functional. if you use it with earplugs it is can be external-noise free. This is one of those items that you wonder how you got along without it.

    GREAT TECH!

Different Experience, entirely! Pros lightweight Good Tx/Rx sound in loud environment (no complaints from receiving end) Pleasant music/movie watching experience in loud environment, where the ambient noise does not affect the listening experience! The side benefit, is if you wear ear plugs, it accentuates the sound and you will end up having to turn down the volume! :) Cons Depending on your face type, mine slender; the bone conduction will slightly irritate/itch the section in front of the ear, where they make contact I wear these at work, loud environment with custom molded in ear musician protective ear plugs and glasses, and don't know if it's a) the ear plugs pushing slightly backward, or the way the Opencomm rest on the top of the ears with my glasses, but they will start to irritate the top ear area... I simply move them around and deal with it... If I wear only glasses they're fine, but with ear plugs an issue, but put up with it because of the needed ear protection and the ability to still take calls/listen to videos ;) b) if I'm not wearing my ear plugs (glasses on/off), I don't notice I'm wearing the headset and forget they're even on, with exception to the in front of ear sensor making contact and slight pressure...

    Great but way too big..!

I have piercings inside my ears which makes it hard to use regular earbuds and sometimes over ear headphones are too bulky, plus I get anxious if I can't hear what's going on around me if I have my ears plugged up with earbuds, so bone conduction headsets seem to be the perfect match for me. I bought these specifically for the microphone and loved it. I do a lot of zoom calls and virtual meetings, so these seemed like they would work great. Another thing I liked is that the microphone can be moved back so that it's not in the way if you're not actively using it. The only major drawback to these is that they were huge on my head...! The size made it super uncomfortable to wear and hard to hear. I ended up returning them and going for the OpenRun Mini which fits a lot better. (My head is 22 inches around if that helps anyone) Something else I wish was different is whenever you press a button on the headset it makes a loud beeping sound. It's not terrible, but I wish the beeps could be quieter or have the option of being silenced.
