Well, these are absolutely amazingly comfortable. Unfortunately for my needs they arent loud enough nor do they have enough battery life. They do recharge relatively fast. If youre sitting in an office or in a quiet setting youll be good to go

Aftershokz Open Comm Headset is Awesome

AfterShokz Open Comm is comfortable, unobstrusive, and has great sound quality. I wear reading glasses and they are compatible with this headset. It's a splurge, but it's worth it! I am on the phone most of the day, and until now have used a traditional headset that started to wear on me because everytime I removed it my hair needed restyling, and it can get cumbersome. Additionally, wearing the OpenComm I appreciate the ability to hear what is going on around me because one ear isn't covered. I tried a couple different styles that did not go over the head, but the sound quality was poor. Pamper yourself to a pair.

Great Bluetooth for talking on the phone all day

Sound is fantastic for both speaker and listener. I drove down the highway at 45mph during rush hour talking to my wife and she couldn't tell i had left the office. This is comfortable for all day wear and listening. I purchased because i loved my aeropex but not the mic. This has the whole deal. Fantastic product for talking on the phone while maintaining connection with your surroundings. Only negative is a little struggle connecting with PC and you cant switch between multiple devices. But it does what its intended to when connected to a single device.

    Amazing for Remote Working

As many of you know do, I work remotely, and have a house with two kids and a dog. While they are all well behaved, there can be moments of chaos. Even in those moments, I can hear (and be heard) just fine by whoever is on the other end of my call. I really have been blown away how easy it is to do dishes, laundry, etc. while on a call with a business associate without them knowing. These have allowed me to be super productive, and I love them. Do note that bone-conduction headsets are not meant for stellar music quality. If you are just looking for a headset for music, these are not the unit for you. Otherwise, these are amazing!

Amazing for one sided major hearing loss.

Wow! What an amazing improvement! I have significant hearing loss in one ear due to Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome - I have a hole through the bone above my superior semicircular canal into the brain cavity that allows sound pressure arriving through the outer/middle ear into the inner ear to escape into the brain cavity, which significantly reduces stimulation inside the cochlea. I tell my friends my brains are falling out, because I have holes in my head. Truth is, it's really the other way around. Sound is escaping into my brain cavity. Physiologically my entire hearing system is fully functional, but losing too much sound to the cranial cavity. No, the sound from the AfterShokz headset isn't as full as the rich sounds and harmonies I could still hear up to about 10 years ago, but it's so much better than what I have been hearing recently through the ear canal, which is almost nothing. It probably has more to do with “bone-head” resonance than the actual sound the AfterShokz is capable of producing. I have been working almost exclusively at home since COVID19 closed offices. Up to now I have used an over the ear - more like on the ear - Bluetooth stereo Rand McNally headset for all phone calls, on-line training, and on-line meetings. I'm on the phone and in tele-meetings 70% of the time. Why the Rand McNally set? It was a $100 Bluetooth headset on markdown at Walmart to $40. I needed a headset I could use with my PC or Cell that made it easy to go back and forth between the two. I find the pressure to the side of the head too painful for 99% of all headsets and stereo headphones, even the $300 to $400+ headsets. I took a chance for $40. The $40 pair, tolerable though somewhat painful, served me well for two years until the molded plastic cracked and finally fell apart. Tape just wasn't enough anymore. Even in stereo and using the advanced sound enhancement settings on my phone, the Rand McNally set was still mostly a single-sided experience. As a professional lyric tenor in my much younger years, just hearing music again in both ears via the AfterShokz headset was indeed an emotional experience. I had to stop singing altogether 10+ years ago, because all I could hear in my head from my voice was "metal" as my hearing slowly deteriorated. I just figured it was old age. Only recently has my hearing deteriorated to the point that it came time to find out why. Until I bought this headset, I thought that all I would hear in my ear was “metal” after spending exorbitant amounts of money for a real hearing aid. I thought the rich tones would be lost to my cranial cavity, so what would be the point of even trying? So what's the verdict? I no longer have the painful pressure to the side of my head and wear reading glasses over the headset with minimal discomfort. I now have a quality, zippered semi-rigid case molded to fit the headset that protects it in my travel backpack. I no longer have a future expectation to tape up cracked, broken rigid plastic – you won’t find any on this headset. I can connect the charging cable without my reading glasses – the magnetic connector repels the headset if you try to put it on backwards. The headset is much smaller and lighter, and a real plus+++++ I can once again drive the 1-1/4 hours to the office listening to the radio without turning the volume up so high the people in the cars next to me can hear it better than I, and still hear everything around me with the exception of the hearing loss. I come through clear on the other end of the connection using my PC or Cell. Even though I can pair the AfterShokz with 2 devices, I do have to disconnect one Bluetooth device to connect to the other. My Rand McNally headset switched automatically, but got confused at times, so I still had to disconnect from one device to use the other. But by far the most valuable to me, is hearing music in both ears once again. If you have hearing loss similar to mine, the AfterShokz headset could really make a difference, but you will need to use the enhanced audio settings on your phone to balance the sound in both ears. It even works with one of the transducers pressed against my forehead, but for now I think using the headset as designed will do quite well.

Adequate, but not for big heads

Too small for my head. I wear a size 8 or slightly smaller hat and these just barely / snugly reach around between my ears. It slides on fine, but soon begins to pull at the tops of my ears Audio quality is fine, microphone and speaker. There's an uncomfortable 'beep' noise that hits occasionally on iOS between modes which is nearly painful.

These bone conducting ear phone are great. The sound quality from the microphone and "earphone" is really good. It doesn't pick up wind sound like my previous headset did. I does get a bit uncomfortable after long use. I would purchase again.

    NOT Compatible With MS Teams

Bought this headset a year or so ago. Great quality audio, comfortable and very good battery life. A few months ago it randomly started beeping extremely loud in my ears when on mute in a MS Teams call which is all I use them for. I've tried MS and Shokz customer service multiple times and they are both completely useless in regards to this issue. Be wary of this annoying problem.

they work well enough. I obviously enjoy the situational awareness they afford. mic quality is not as good as touted. i often get complaints of wind noise. the battery life is way off. i am lucky to get 4 hours of talk time. all in all, i kind of regret the purchase and wouldnt really recommend them.
