If you are a fan of the Zero Escape games, then this game is for you. The story was very intriguing, the story is dark and some moments surprised me along with the humor. The detective game mechanics are what you expect. Talk to NPC's, searching your surrounding, limited xray vision to help you accomplish your task. The puzzle part of the game takes place when you "Psyncs" with someone. The game overall feels balance. Ai Somnium Files has great replay value becase of the branching story you can try to get the true ending.

I was a big fan of the Zero Escape series so I knew that I would absolutely adore this game going in, and it sure did deliver. Easily one of my favorite games of all time! I love the characters, the music is great, and the plot was a wild ride to the end too.

From the same director as the Nonary Games titles fans of that series will definitely enjoy this title. Graphics are a bit rough, compared to the PlayStation 4 version, but are otherwise great looking.

Coming from the writer of the Zero Escape Trilogy comes a much less gruesome yet just as engaging detective story that is bound to attract anime fans. I will say that this isn't much of a game/puzzler like Zero Escape, but if you enjoy reading and having choices matter, this game is for you.
