I got this game as it has a good reputation on the Ps Vita scene and I can see why. It has a odd story but some good game play. You get to explore a recreation of the Akihabara district in Japan and it is pretty well recreated. I have seen comparison pictures and its legit. I need to put more time in to give a more in depth review but it is worth the price (29.99 at the time). If you can get it cheaper, definitely pick it up.

if you played akiba's strip, well, then you have to buy this. nothing great here just a standard RPG but it comes with a cool toy that was originally a pre-order bonus, but they made too many so most of the regular editions have the toy too.

This game is okay. Nothing spectacular and not as good as the first one but entertaining all the same. A good time killer and great for it’s bargain prices. Not for everyone.

Not as good as the original, but was cheap and still came with the preorder plushy.

This is a much more dialogue heavy follow up Akiba's Trip. It feels a lot like a early Persona game in terms of dialogue and dungeons even though the story is less engaging. Definitely a solid RPG choice for the Vita though.

The gameplay in this one is fine, but its nothing exciting or new. Really like the story though. I wouldn't blind buy this one, the people who want to play it are the ones who will buy it.

I purchased this looking for another RPG to play on the PlayStation Vita. This game feels like a mashup of similar titles, like danganronpa, persona, and other JRPG titles. Nothing revolutionary with Akiba's Beat, the graphics have issues on the Vita, but the game play is fun and I can't put this title down.

Despite it getting a lot of mixed reviews, I really thought Akiba's Beat was a pretty solid RPG with great art and a top notch localization. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes the genre.

Decent entry for the vita system. Obously the ps4 version will have more bells and whistles but this is not a bad port.

This is the first JRPG from this developer, and it shows. Its gameplay is closest to Persona, and unfortunately it just doesn't have the polish and story of that game. If you're a JRPG fan and you have a Vita (and have already played Persona 4 Golden), then this still might be worth picking up.

I loved Akiba's Trip so pre-ordering this was a no brainer. It wasn't until I got it that I realized it has nothing to do with the first game and the gameplay is completely different - and terrible. Skip.
