We thoroughly enjoyed this live action remake. The cast was great (with he exception of the villain who was somehow cast as some high pitched voice goober who couldn’t grow the beard that the original character had). But overall the film was great and nostalgic for those of us who were children when the original was released.

The new live-action Aladdin movie is packed with colorful visuals and is a joy to watch. Brilliant special effects for the Genie and world-class visual effects, along with a set design that was amazing. A worthy family-fun film that's simply spectacular; one of the year's best. Oh, and Will Smith was great as the Genie.

Loved this movie as a kid with Robin Williams as the Genie. But Will Smith did a great job of honoring the character itself, but also making it his own. By this I mean, he did not try to replicate Williams', but he did honor some of the classic scenes I loved. A great way to start new memories with your little ones!

The Disney animated Aladdin was a classic but I honestly thought the frenetic genie performance by Robin Williams was distracting from the story. The Will Smith genie was a more human character who worked with the story rather than took it over. Nice too that Jasmine gets a meatier role. Gorgeous costumes and sets.

Great film and stayed true to the original 1992 classic. Skeptical at first but the leads were phenomenal. Mena and Naomi are perfect in their roles and Will Smith delivers without tarnishing the legacy of Robin Williams. All around great entertainment for the family mixed with classic songs and new ones as well.

I must admit I love Disney but was not a fan of the original Aladdin movie. Not only does my entire family love this new version, but so do I! This movie is excellent and well worth buying. We have watched it numerous times and my daughter has memorized every song. It is a definite must have for your collection.

The music, costumes, and choreography are amazing! I was hesitant about the genie, but I am a Will Smith fan. He did an AMAZING job as the genie. The story lines follows the animated film very closely. But I wish Gilbert Goddfried had voiced Iago the parrot. And Iago could have had more scenes like the animated!

It’s close to the animated but slightly different and that’s what I love about it. It makes it it’s very own and not just a live action duplicate. Costumes are beautiful story is same and just as fun and Will Smith make genie his own love it now I have 2 great choices when it comes to watching depending my mood!

I selected this particular movie set so that my kids could watch the film on their portable DVD player, in the Blu-ray player, or watch on a device (digital copy). So far they’ve used all three options. Great movie, family friendly, even my 5 year old enjoys watching it. Download was easy and quick on iTunes.

I love this movie! At first I was a little sceptic because I loved the original Aladdin with Robin Williams as Genie. I must admit I loved Will Smith as the Genie and the old songs with the twist only he could put on them. The whole cast was great and did an awesome job in portraying their different roles.

its hard to picture a remake of this classic without the great Robin Williams, but Will Smith definitely gave this its own charm, great special effects, amazing acting from Smith and strong performance from Naomi Scott (Jasmine), Cool & Jazzy musical numbers gave this one a nice lift. a must watch for 2019!

This movie was brilliant. I love how Will became his own version of the genie. I was afraid that it would be hard to fill Robin Williams shoes as this character because to me in the original he made the movie but Will was Will’s version of the genie and didn’t try to be a carbon copy of Robin and it works.

Not much to say. I am a fan of most of the new live action retellings of the animated features. Aladdin is by far my favorite, and the quality of the 4k imagery, colors, and sound with the disc are incredible. Great movie and recommend to anyone looking for just a few hours relaxing, or with the kids.

This live version adaption of Disney's Aladdin is a fun watch. Of course the animated version will always have its place in my heart as I grew up during this era of Disney animated releases. Will Smith is no Robin Williams but does add an updated take of the genie character. Fun watch for the family!

While Aladdin is clearly a remake of the animated version with the scene stealing Robin Williams, this live action version offers enough of a new spin with a strong cast headed by Will Smith as the Genie. All the original ingredients are there with the added spectacular visuals of the elaborate sets and high energy dance scenes. While in the end this new version is not entirely A Whole New World, both adults and children will enjoy the ride into this musical fantasy!

Surprised how good this movie was. Jasmine was beautiful and a voice like an angel. Will Smith was the biggest surprise his Genie interpretation was actually decent. Now the cartoon is pretty much untouchable but for live action it didn't embarrass itself. The bluray looks and sounds amazing

I really like this movie. It's visually beautiful, and the actors did a great job. However, it's not the best retelling, in my opinion. I'm all for changes when they serve the purpose of the story, but some of the changes didn't make sense to me, and I found myself missing the charm of the cartoon (I wanted Jafar to turn into a giant snake!). I did like the changes they made to Jasmine's character, though, so I guess it's a trade off. Overall, it's a good movie.

i don't know why people hated this, it was very close to the original material even though they aded stuff and some songs and removed the jaffar turning into a snake part. i still loved it and so did my mom. the cgi was great and WILL SMITH WAS AMAZING AS THE GENIE, PEOPLE NEED TO GET OVER THIS

Wasn’t quite sure about this live action version at first, considering ‘Aladdin’ is my favorite Disney animated film, but I have to say that I was blown away. Will smith didn’t try to imitate Robin Williams, he made the genie his own, and how they reinvented Jasmine. Overall, a spectacular film.

My daughters birthday is in October and this will make the perfect present for her! She loves the movie and so do we! Great for the family! I put in a pre-order for it and I’m typical Best Buy fashion, it gets here before the arrival date! You guys are the best! Thanks for coming through again!
