First of all, the instructions, and I'm using the term loosely, didn't have any words and they were so small that I had to use the magnifying app on my smartphone in order to see what it was showing, and even then I could see that the original print was so small it wasn't even clear. It took several tries to put it together correctly. However, once assembled, the metal frame and legs are pretty sturdy although I had to do some leveling out of the rollers so ir wouldn't wobble. The cherry wood colored laminate is a good quality, not showing any edges where it would be a giveaway and it matches my high-quality cherry furniture nicely. I like the overall height adjustment of the table but the swivel (large) part of the top will not tighten all the way so you really can't use it in all the positions and the small top doesn't have an independent height adjustment which would have been a nice feature.

I would recommend this desk to anyone who is looking for a small desk that has more than one adjustment for many chair sizes or laying down next to it on the couch or bed.

OK product for the price

The two halves of the desk top don't fit together exactly (the bolt holes were slightly off) so the left side has to be at a tilt. Also, the tightening knob doesn't hold the tilted side firmly, but it's good enough to hold a laptop in place if you don't lean on it. Assembly was fairly easy, and it looks like the photo.

Solid & attractive, but misleading specification

The problem is that this only goes up to 36 inches if you secure it with both knobs, as shown in the image. To get 38.5, you have to use only one knob, which doesn't allow it to be straight and is obviously less sturdy. I'd have probably gone with five stars if the company had made the rods long enough for one more screw hole, especially given the pric
