I got this phone during the Thanksgiving sale. I need to have a phone to use outside of US. The extra LTE bands come handy. I also like the dual sim feature. It also has LTE band 12 and I am able to connect to Cricket, and presumably AT&T and Tmobile as well. The only thing I have a slight problem with is the on-board camera. The camera is slow and is not taking good pictures. But at this sale price, what can I complain? I would not buy this at the normal price though.

I wanted a new phone with a bigger screen so I looked at this one because I had an Alcatel from T mobile when I first switched from a flip phone years ago and loved it, so I just upgraded and love this phone as well. I am not a person who plays games or has children who do, but if you are looking for a good phone you can see and download apps this is great!. the only thing that I think could better is the camera, it's easy to use but wish the pics were more clear.

Got this cell phone at a bargain deal and it's an excellent smart phone. It's very complete, easy to use, and I love the big screen size.

Alcatel - POP 4 Plus 4G LTE is a good phone with dual sim option and at a reasonable price. I recommend it.

The black Friday promo of $49.99 was a good price. With large screen, dual sim cards, 1.5 GB RAM, and Quad Core processor; the phone's speed and capabilities are good. I notice the compass is either slow in response or has a low resolution. The battery life is long, about one day with my use. With Android 6, I hope that I get the best Security measures.

This was very inexpensive on sale. I primarily bought it to use as an unlocked phone while traveling abroad. I haven't actually used it yet for that ... not for a couple more months. I did place an AT&T SIM card in it and it seemed to work fine. Note that there is nothing particularly fancy about this phone, but the one thing I really wanted ... ability to use it as a hotspot ... it has.

Decent android phone for the price, battery backup is better than expected.

I got this phone during black Friday sale and give it to my little girl. She love the phone and using it with Tmobile, she had nothing to say but thank you for the excellent phone. The only problem is that the phone come without a charge, you have to fully charge the phone to be able to use it.

I purchased this phone for use with T-Mobile SIM card. It works well and I'm happy with the price I paid for it. The price of the phone (unlocked) is low enough and if I destroy the phone while using it at work (and it was purchased for use at work only) it won't faze me and I can replace it with another one. The phone's performance isn't bad either. I don't play games on it, I don't use it for social media, or playing music or watching videos.... it's for making and taking phone calls, receiving text/mms messages and email for work and for those functions, it's perfect. I suppose if you want to do those things the phone will function well enough. Just remember, the internal memory isn't that high and you'll need sdcard to add additional memory for data storage. If you tend to load LOTS of apps (and most of them load only into internal memory) you may be disappointed. For me, though, this phone works perfectly and I question the need for very expensive phones that do basically the same thing.

Great budget phone with big screen size and it unlocked to all carrier

I purchased several of these phones, because i use them when i travel international. The Alcatel brand works great for me in South America and in the Caribbean. I just activate the chip and your are good to go. Now, this phone does not have the most updated features, this has standard 8mp camera, so its not great for pics, but your able to download apps that you use and its a great for standard communication, text.

The phone looks good and pretty light weight and the reasonable price. Looking to purchase more phones when there is decrease in the price. I just got this phone on Thanks giving day and so far it performs well as expected. I would definitely recommend this unlocked phone to to friends.

1. The phone is described as new, and it's probably new, BUT it came in a package that was opened and then taped close. According to the box and the documentation, this is originally AT&T go phone, and I guess they had to open it to unlock. 2. There is still a lot of AT&T stuff on the phone that you can't delete. 3. They claim it has 8GB storage, but don't expect to be able to access most of it. If you go to Settings and select Storage, it states following: Total space: 3.95GB; Available: 3.05GB. Fortunately, I don't really need a lot of storage. 4. It is pretty thick for a new phone, and has a screen that is longer but narrower comparing to most other phones of the same size. 5. It accepts Micro SIM cards. 6. It makes short vibrations every time your call is connected and disconnected, which is pretty annoying. If anyone knows how to turn it off, please let me know by adding your comment to this review - thank you!

There are a lot of high priced phones, many costing well over $500. The Alcatel Pop 4 Plus is at the opposite end of the price spectrum with a retail price of $150, and sometimes on sale for even less. The performance and feature of the phone exceeds the $150 price point. The performance is snappy, the screen is very good, and the phone audio quality is very good. The good points include: LTE and GSM support Unlocked phone that is not locked to a carrier Dual SIM network card capability A mostly pure Android 6 system Back and front cameras with flash Expandable memory Two year warranty The not so good points: Non replaceable battery Won't work on Verizon or Sprint CDMA networks Lower resolution cameras than the higher priced phones If you are looking for a value priced unlocked phone that works on AT&T and T-Mobile, including their prepaid offerings, this Alcatel phone is an excellent choice.
