Picked it up from Best Buy and was able to set it up in less than an hour. Works perfectly! Gets great cell phone coverage and for 15 bucks it gave me 200 minutes and 500 text messages for the month.

I had this phone for less than a week before I exchanged it for LG Phoenix 3. The Alcatel would require 3-4-5 hours to charge no matter if I was starting from 10% or 60%. That was just ridiculous. The screen was very slow to respond to touching it. So I exchanged it and got the LG for 24.99 at best buy. I'm very happy with the LG.

I found that if I disconnect the audio connection and just enable the phone that it will work.

He can contact me if needed but there is not enough get and go to truly be interesting which is what I want.

Reasonable product

This phone is good for those who do not want a phone contract. However it is not self explanatory: for example- can't dial out, can't check voice mail!!! Trac phone customer service is terrible, but the device itself is ok.
