This is by far one of the most powerful, dope/cool, amazing machines ever created. I mean from performance all the way up to design it's incredible, def a must buy. & the logo and way their RGB lights are set up are killer. No one compares.

Coming from custom built computer was not an easy transition, but after a few exchanges I am very happy with this computer. The backspace key is a little sticky,but after having spent 1550 on the msi, and having the strix gl502vm be bad.This computer may only have i5 ,but i do graphic design on this and heavy gaming. This little gem's build quality is amazing. and it stays the coolest of the three. I slapped a Samsung SSD in and she is blazing fast. also got an additional 8gb of crucial DDR4 ram. She also has an amazing ips G-Sync screen plays any game AAA

Great performance for gaming so far. I added an additional 8gb of memory into the empty spot. My model has a 1tb 7200rpm hard drive. I'm looking forward to adding an SSD into one of the 2 available m.2 slots. There is a third SSD slot that is a bit smaller than the standard 2280 size but has the same connector. The customizable lighting is pretty cool. No SD card slot though, but wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Far exceeded my expectations. The graphics the speed and streamline interface is great.

I had always looked into purchasing an alienware but thought I could find a powerful laptop for less. I was wrong, I went with a Lenovo Y700 first and was severely disappointed even though it had similar (although not identical) specs. Returned that one and decided to spend the money on this monster and it delivers. The 1TB drive is more than enough even without the SSD (you can add one later on if desired) and the Nvidia GTX 1060 is beyond expectations. The customizable backlit keyboard, touch pad, side lights, even the logo lights is lots of fun to play around with. The 7th Core i5 also does extremely well and there isn't much noticeable difference if you get the model with the i7, unless you need an i7 for more intensive project but for high end gaming it is unnecessary. I play older titles sometimes and the machine doesn't even rev up. The newer more graphic intensive titles I play put some load but always at 60fps and the fans are still fairly quite (I play with headphones anyway so I can never hear them no matter what). The build of the laptop is solid and I haven't even managed to scratch it at all after about two months of ownership and it travels with me to and from work. My only very small issue is there are two USB ports on the sides (one on each) and the other is in the back which is a little odd but I don't use more than two anyway. I would recommend this laptop to anyone and everyone!

Finally saved up for a gaming laptop and it was well worth it

This makes number 6 laptop I use right now. I have to say I go to it more so than my other ones. I do believe it is a better computer than others but you do pay more for the name. I am very happy with it. You get what you pay for.

I purchased this laptop for my 17 year old son and he loves it. Great speed.

The whole system was slowing down after few days you bought. All of the drivers are old.

if you ask me, performance is amazing, it's an alienware. I got it as open box and it was legit brand new, but i see why the guy returned it.... keys A O and L doesn't work, and it's quite frustrating. I am trying to see if Alienware has a fix for this if not i'll return it to the store then. A few days ago it was down to 1200 if im correct, and you get gsync, 60hz ips panel, pretty good 1tb drive, i5 and 8gb of ram. This is okay but i wish it was better as maybe the big battery or maybe ssd instead of the tb.
